Serene, tranquil, well-kept, and affordable mobile home park in eastern Baltimore County. Convenient to shopping mall, groceries, pharmacies, and restaurants. Just inside the beltway and driving distance to Johns Hopkins Hospital locations.

My landlady, Ms. Nancy Leiter, granted me verbal permission to move my mother into my residence with her dog. She had me to go to my mothers doctor and get a letter stating that my moms 7 year old dog was her companion dog, and needed to stay with my mom. I was so excited that she granted this request, since we arent allowed to have dogs here. She said to keep it on the down low so that the other residents wouldnt want a dog and we did.On 7/6/2018 my mom and her dog moved in and I left a note in the office informing Ms Leiter because my mom had to be added to my lease. The following weekend, Ms Leiter stopped by and asked how things were going, and said she had to go put out a fire on the other end of the park because someone had moved in someone without her permission. If my mom and the dog were an issue, why didnt she address it at that time? Instead she insisted that I get a shed to get rid of the clutter - my moms yard decorations - which I had delivered the following week.On 7/23/2018 my mother was given a hand delivered note stating that the dog was not allowed and that mom had not been approved to move in either. My mom called very upset (she has depression, anxiety issues and barely able to walk) saying she had to get rid of the dog. This should never have been handled this way, and Ms. Leiter is very aware of the circumstances. Leiters defense is that this move took so long to happen that I should have checked in with her. Mom had pneumonia and three falls requiring medical treatment and rehab before I could bring her here. This was because her insurance MedStar doesnt cover county residents and I reside in the county - mom was in the city. My defense is I didnt think it necessary since I had already been approved. Perhaps that was my error. Now I have to leave my home and move with my mother to a new home and start all over again. Mom lost everything to move in with me so that she would be on one level and I could take care of her. She lived in her own home that was in a reverse mortgage, so she was able to survive on her social security per month. I am currently trying to survive and this was a win/win for us both. I think it is illegal for Ms. Leiter to refuse to let my mom keep her dog. Mom would die without it. He herds her to the couch or chair when she is about to fall and he was never trained to do that. He is her reason for living. Ms. Leiter knew that. I had been very above board with her and the situation. Is this legal? In the least Ms. Leiter should have to pay for our move. It is bad enough I am going to lose my home that would be paid off in 4 years. She would have to approve any sale and tenants and I just dont see her doing that, and I dont want to deal with someone so heartless. Dont do business with her unless you get it all in writing.
