Free comedy shows every night of the week! Theyre really fun people. I took my ten year old to a Friday show and he had an absolute blast. They allow the audience to participate in their scenes, which is so special.

This place has amazing FREE shows every day of the week. They also offer classes for improv that are really fun and affordable. I recommend everyone check out this theater because you wont be disappointed. If you havent been there before, make sure to use the parking garage across the street. It lets anyone going to the theater park for only $3 (cash).

The BIG kids improv classes are amazing. My daughter loves, loves, loves them. The instructors and activities offer her a way to safely explore her creativity and expressiveness while developing her confidence. I am so thankful we stumbled into them.

Ive gone to shows two weeks in a row since I learned of this place and cant get enough! Shows every night of the week, and theyre FREE! Its a great way to get a laugh any night, whether youre going solo or with a s.o. or group of friends. The hour-long shows with a variety of improv are just the right length to catch one or two as part of your evening or spend the whole night there for it all. A hidden Baltimore gem in my opinion.

Great staff, and some profound life lessons can be found at this studio. Casually Dope is incredibly funny and I cant wait to go back for more!

We were greatly entertained by a performance called We Got Your Back. Since all the shows are free, we didnt know what to expect, but it was a lot of fun! The black box theater is a rough but intimate space that really allows the audience to be close to all the action.

My husband and I went to the theater to watch one of the free improv shows and had such a great time! The Baltimore Imrpov Group was very humorous to watch and it was great to see how the improvers incorporated involvement from the audience in their scenes. It was a great date night experience and would love to see one of their shows again!

I am a huge fan of Baltimore Improv Group! Based on my personal experience, I highly recommend the adult improv classes, the kids improv classes, and THE SHOWS! I recently started taking improv 101, and cant recommend it highly enough. Its not my first improv class, but it has all the magic of a first encounter. The pacing is perfect.I also took my daughter to a one-off Saturday kids improv class with one of her friends and they both loved it! There arent a ton of other places that offer kids improv, and its awesome to get to really share the experience with her, so I was very appreciative that BIG offered kids classes.Lastly, Ive been to a bunch of shows so far, and they are all so real, and so good. If youre new to Baltimore or new to improv, you can catch a show at the BIG theater almost any night of the week, and for free (for now). Not only that, but they give you free water when youre there. Its wonderful!

Did the workshop last night and the instructor, Ti, was magnificent. She did a great job explaining the precepts of improv in a digestible and fun way. I really learned a lot. After the workshop we got a free invite to the weekly Sunday show--holy moly--these guys are talented! The whole crowd was in stitches. The crew came up with the set and setting for a show and straight up improvised a 30 minute scene. The whole crew was laughing and enjoyed the entire show. Im definitely considering doing more and can see how improv and boost confidence, ones ability to play, and think on their feet. Good stuff!
