Service is wonderful. Variety of really good food. They make a wonderful old fashioned dinner salad with iceberg lettuce. Plates are cold and forks are also served cold. Recommend the teriyaki glazed salmon. Yum!
It feels as if Crest Bar and Grill caters to locals, which is great, unless you’re not a local. We had planned on eating dinner here but after a couple of cocktails and appetizers, we changed our minds. When we ordered our second beverages, we noted that they sat on the bar for a very long time before we received them. Our waitress was friendly but absent, but we were checked on by the bus person a couple of times. The appetizer sampler that we ordered was just ok. We ended up asking for our check and leaving. I don’t believe we would return for a meal.
Last time I went in September 2019 the food and drinks were great. Went to breakfast Nov. 1 2020 and it was so disappointing the food came out fast the country potatoes and bacon were under cooked and the coffee was the color of green tea. I mentioned it to the waitress and when she refilled my cup it was the same weak coffee. My omelet was the only saving part of the meal
This place offers a nice environment, great food and wonderful service. I love it. One of my favorite places in town! The Blackened Salmon and the Garlic Parmesan hot wings are superb!
I have eaten here many times and it has always been great. Until last night, I ordered the New York steak (limited options) it was the worst steak I have ever had. It was cooked well but nearly ALL fat and very difficult to cut. There were only about 3 bites that were worth eating.

This review is for the Bar and Grill. I have had good food and service here a couple of times, but my most memorable experience here was one morning about 10 30. I wanted a burger and they would not sell anything except breakfast. There were only five customers in the restaurant at the time. I ended up leaving and going to Carlas Cafe, they were happy to make a burger.Uppity Uppity, they lost my business. Just bad business to turn a customer away in an almost empty restaurant over 20 to 25 minutes. If they had served me that morning I would have been the sixth customer present.
Loved the delivery to the RV. Food was good, especially the nachos. Also ate on the patio. Was good service and same fGood food.

You know, normally this is 4 or 5 stars for me but the server was subpar, the kitchen was slow. Our server didnt offer refills but the other server was promptly refilling her own tables. Food for 7 tables came out at the same time and more than half were sent back for being cold or not correct. They couldnt even get a steak cooked right and that older woman looked so defeated as she sat there with a drink watching her husband eat.Edit: I went back the other day and they were back to normal in food quality and service. No longer a 2 star rating.
The chili cheese fries are some of the best Ive had in awhile. My wife ended up stealing a bunch from me but it was a big enough meal to not matter.

Pricey, but good food. We ordered twice during our stay. First order was very good. The amount of food was generous, included a roll, and free dessert was offered in lieu of the 10% discount.The second order was less robust. No roll and no dessert offered. We took the 10% instead.

Its quite a surprise on how good the food is here for being in an RV park.? Daily specials are always amazing, and you cant go wrong with anything on the menu so a solid 4, something....refined(?).. keeps it from being a 5 star review but I cant quite put my finger on it

The crest has great food and a freiendly relaxed staff. and it really takes me back to the 80s or 90s, from La, where im from in the torrance area, the way so many nice older restaurants used to be, not the trendy styles they all are now lol, if thats your thing, cool, but we love this styly of place, stay safe all in these times, practice saftey to the max as long as need be so we can enjoy the crest for years to come!
Best prime rib in Bakersfield. Good menu and really good daily specials. Cozy fine dining. Good bar drinks.
Hidden gem, great food and drinks of ALL kinds. I come here for coffee and cars and really enjoy the Breakfast and Bloody Marys. (Personal choice) but great atmosphere for all ages... Kids very welcome! Even a great hide away for date night, I absolutely 100% recommend and say you should absolutely try.

Sat out on the patio with our dog! Took over 15 min. to get a menu, then we waited and waited, finally after 45 min. We decided to get it to go because our dog was getting agitated! When we got home I had ordered a protein salad with Chicken instead of Tuna! There was no chicken or tuna! My husband called to speak to the manager, She was sorry, but no offer to make it right!!! Not even come back for your chicken!!! We have had other problems with time and orders when they are to busy for their staff! Anyway terrible experience!!!

Best food and great people
Just tried to have dinner at The Crest for the first time. We were sat and waited for someone to come by for our order. The place was not busy at all. Waited, looked around to try to figure out who may be our server. No one stopped by after 8 -10 minutes. We decided to leave especially since the place was empty and no one seemed to care that we were sitting there with closed menus.The place also had a very stale smell. My husband and I worked in the restaurant business for many years and know what attentive good service is, and this was not it. Will not be back.

First time trying this place. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. From the outside the restaurant was very clean and so was the inside. I liked the location of being in a trailer park. Was a little cautious at first but once I was seated the place was awesome. Service was on point and the food was delicious. I ordered breakfast my wife ordered lunch. Definitely will be returning soon.

The food is...blah! This place is for retired folks who roll in their RVs and like to think theyre eating good food. It was suggested to me by the driver for the dealership nearby where I take me cart for servicing. (Note: the driver is probably 70). So... If you are 65 and older (and wish to spend $25 / person incl tax) this is a great place. Otherwise, skip it.

Have never waited to be seated. Good food. Good drinks. Good service. Pleasant atmosphere especially after they stopped showing faux news on their TVs in the bar area as you walk in.
Really nice menu with with well prepared dishes, reasonable prices and very competent wait-staff. Location on the rv grounds is a major plus.
Excellent food comfortable setting
Food was excellent. A bit late because of the thick mahi but the fish was cooked perfectly and the coconut pineapple went very well with it. The chicken marsala was perfect. Tender chicken and great testing sauce. If all their dishes are this good, you cant go wrong eating here.The only downside is the place is all hard surfaces so it can get very loud right after happy hour
I had lunch at Crest Bar & Grill for the first time yesterday. I liked the throwback picture of Crest when it was a drive-in hanging in the waiting area of the establishment. I ordered the 8 0z. steak and it was cooked to perfection. It had lots of flavor and it was juicy. I wish I had gotten the next size up when choosing my steak. Definitely coming back to this restaurant.

I went with a bunch of family and friends. This place has top fast and friendly service. Food tasted great. Never an empty drink. You get what you pay for HUGE plates full of food. It was a great choice to go eat at. I really enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to eat.
Comfort food and a cozy atmosphere, prices arent bad, either. I didnt have the albondigas soup but 2 people in our group raved about it.

We have eaten breakfast here twice in the last week (staying at the RV park). The first time was great, good food, good service. This morning we took my daughters family to breakfast there. Hubby and I ordered the same things we did before. It took 30 minutes for most of our order to come out. My breakfast burrito came 5 minutes after that. With the second bite, I discovered a hair in my food. I sent it back and the waitress told me my replacement would be right out. 25 minutes later when the rest of my party was done eating, my cold burrito came out. The waitress said, oh I thought someone was bringing this out to you. My family sat and watched as I ate what I could of the burrito, the insides were burned. And to top things off, when the check came, nothing was comped for our wait and trouble. Havent had service this poor in quite some time. We wont be back.

This hidden gem is sequestered away in an unassuming RV park in the middle of town. The brunch was delicious with choose your own adventure omelettes.

The entire RV park is a very nice set-up. Good clean, easy load spots, fair pricing with a very nice pool & bathroom facilities. Nice restaurant. A perfect stopping point when travelling through the central valley. Felt safe and secure.

Enjoy this place a lot.. only issue is the prices are kind of high. $40 for two to eat lunch is a bit steep especially when we got the daily specials.

The Bakersfield RV Resort is a beautiful RV park. Not able to comment on the Crest Bar and Grill on the same site. Went there for breakfast a couple mornings during our stay at the RV park last year and could not get service. No hostess, menus, servers or tables.....gave them more than one opportunity.....did not work out.

Friendly service, super kid friendly. The waitress was super polite and we got good food super fast. They had plenty of parking and their food wasnt greasy or nasty and was enough to share with the kids as well.

This RV park is very clean and well maintained. The RV spots are easy in , easy out pull through. The staff is wonderful and very personable. They escort you to your spot via a tiny smart car. The Crest restaurant is on the grounds and is easy walking distance. The food is wonderful there !! All in all , a very nice park.

Wow! These folks can really cook! The attention to detail of everything they served at brunch was outstanding. For example, the quality of the bacon and sausage they serve was outstanding. The flavor of the gravy, the horseradish sauce for the prime rib, the char on the fried potatoes, all excellent. A favorite place to eat.
