Even during the pandemic it broke up the monotony just to get out of the house. The staff did an excellent job setting it up all the tables outside under the tent. Conducted business as usual and practicing safe distancing. The bartender super! Start off Cadillac Margarita on the rocks. The food is out of this world and quite generous of portions. Due the circumstances the menu is limited. My sister and I shared the shared a humongous bacon cheeseburger the avocado also a Caesar salad and hot wings. If I may add awesome service!!. All the staff outstanding!!! It dont get any better than that!! Coming out like a winner!

Husband was there Friday for 14 hours playing Texas Holdem! We love it how they are set up outside! They even have food and drinks set up!!

The Casino in Bakersfield isnt so bad! Very friendly staff and the bartender is really cool! The security guards are very friendly and professional making this a pleasant place to play some table games and have a drink at the bar! Thanks for making my experience here pleasant!

Security is on the parking lot. Dont just park there.

It was not very busy. Dealers were good. Gambling is no really my thing. Drinks were cut off before 2 am.

Services ladies and security very pleasant and professional. Don’t particularly trust the dealers at the tables as had a situation today as I was in Pot with about $200 in the middle guy bet $50 on the River. I said call and turn my cards over, but didn’t put my money in the middle & the dealer claims he didn’t hear me which is unacceptable. In my opinion dealers should be focused on their job rather than the table talk.I didn’t like loosing money, but more importantly it’s the principal of the matter. When I loose I have no problem letting go, but this wasn’t tgg hg e situation as I actually one and had to eat the “crap sandwich” that the dealer and the supervisor decided. The other players at the table told me to get the manager but why bother if that’s the way the establishment is run.

Lived here all my life and never been here and after celebrating with my daughter on her birthday we decided to stop and check the casino out. They dont have slots Just poker and black Jack tables. My daughter bought 100 chips and we sat at a black Jack table that had one other player already playing. We already knew how to play the game but this man was so nice and after about 20 minutes we realized that we had almost 300 dollars in chips and my daughter decided to cash out while she was ahead. It was great fun and I will go back again because of the friendly atmosphere. The employees there were extremely nice and helpful in explaining the lay out when I asked

I started out by waiting for a ride. I pulled in, found security and asked if it was ok to wait for my son as I got too ill to continue driving down south. They had me go to a certain area so they could watch me and had me give them my sons name number and car in case I got worse or belly-up. They were GREAT-ALL the staff I had interactions with were-no matter title-bus boy to bathroom cleaner to the floor manager. I ended up having soup while there and moving my car to a different area as it got busy. But the fact that someone knew I wasnt good and wouldnt let me get hurt or let me get in need of ambulance ect--meant more to me than they can EVER know. Thank You so much-you made me feel like family.

I would never had any reason to go here by myself but my weekend date is a poker player and asked me to go with him. I was pleasantly surprised. They have plenty of security, the rooms are clean, food is good, great service from the wait staff .

And free. No slots here, just table games. No matter, I bet we stop here again and stay longer. We visited Golden West Casino but were a bit gun shy of the gambling crowd...OH were we surprised!!! Great crowd so much fun and the FOOD...to die for!!! We will be regulars for sure!!!

We stopped here in our RV for a night. People were all great to work with. We had prime rib special (only Fri/Sat) and it was very good. They only have table games and no slots so we didnt gamble.

You get good service only if you tip them good they will remember you if you decide to return

I was the only person gambling within the entire casino (heads-up against dealer) for 2 hours. Blackjack dealer eventually took all my $, & I left the joint without anyone else gambling. All poker tables were closed & void of dealers during my morning visit.

I like this place, not because I won money. I actually didnt win any money. The place is quite clean. People are friendly. Its smoke free. Cant complain. No slots. Just poker and blackjack, there might have been a few other card games as well.

Food is usually pretty good. very reasonable prices and great customer service. they have various table games. poker, blackjack, baccarrat and a few others. they can host events there as well. Also have different types of card tournaments. They also serve alcohol and the age to enter is 21 and not 18 years.

DONT GO!!Wishing there was negative stars I could give this place! Extremely misleading online, there is no slots whatsoever! In an absolutely horrible part of town, so bad that they have TONS of security. Armed guards and all. Its unbelieveably uncomfortable! We will NEVER be stopping here again. As a side note as well, they have an absolutely ridiclulous dress code! We got told to leave and put on correct clothing, i.e. no cut off shirt or tank top! Unbelievable! I have NEVER been to a casino establishment that had a dress code, and if they want it that way they need to ADVERTISE it as such and not waste other peoples time!!

There are some good employees, but turnover has cost them a couple of great dealers and there is still way too much favoritism for the regulars. Which is why Im not even really a semi-regular anymore. It just became too much, between that, changing the players rewards, and a few really stupid house rules, I only go when I cant find a game or make it somewhere else.

Food was good. But the service was just not that great. It was a late night trip, but it was not busy at all. There was a waitress helping others and she did not acknowledge us at all. Finally the bartender was polite enough to give us menus (we werent even sitting at the bar), while she kept walking around talking to coworkers and other customers. Then he finally called for someone and a different waiter came. He was more polite and on it, which made the service a little better after that. It still took a long time for the food to come out. It was good once we finally got it, although my friends steak was a little tough. Service is usually good here but I guess we caught it on a bad night.

Great customer service, the food USED to be good, I ate there for lunch, steak sandwiches, ordered medium on the steaks, they brought us BURNT and DRY steaks, it seriously seem like the cook re-heated the steaks and served it on HOT DOG BUNS!?!? Nothing like it used to be..... asked the waitress, did you get new cooks and she said yes, and they had changed everything up... so Golden West Casino needs to bring back the old head chief!!!

Its a place I dont appreciate to be put in Bakersfield, Where it makes peoples lives miserable. We have drugs and gambling problems big time in Bako and no one cared to step up the game and try to fight it, Instead people like it.Anyways, I apologize if my words were harsh, Nothing against the employees or anything personal.Now back to the review, Went me and 3 of my buddys at maybe 12am, We ordered after a bit of debating and the food took over an hour and nobody bothered to say anything, Anyways I understand probably cause its late and the chef had a very long stressful day My hat off for the chef and his assistants Nothing against you chef, After all the wait the hamburgers came out as expected cooked perfectly on one side and the other side burnt all of the hamburgers, But it tasted as expected juicy and flavorful Thank you chef and whoever helped themThe atmosphere was as follows, A lot of screaming and loud laughter really unnecessary but WTH people wanna have fun, For me it made me feel like I wanna explode, So annoying, But anyway please do GAMBLE RESPONSIBLE and dont make it a habit.If you and your family want delicious food, Im being honest I really like their food, Just the noie level is very aggrevating and distracting.I would be fair and say, Foodwise I recommend it to everybody very generous portions from experience, But gambling wise please do not make it a habit.I hope you guys find my review helpful, I love reviewing in details, So others can have an idea on ehats going on there.Give it a try, Its not bad food wise

Dont bother stopping at this hole in the wall casino for poker. Around 8PM They have two NL games going, 1-2 & 1-3 , and 12 people on each board, but they cant afford to open another game because that would mean paying another dealer, they just expect you to wait hours to play.. or you can kiss your money goodbye playing table games while you wait, which you have to pay-to-play, yes table games have a rake so it goes real fast. Wont be back. Less than one-star review.
