I recently hosted my mothers surprise 60th birthday party at the Long Island Yacht Club. I can confidently say the success of this party was because it was at this venue. From the delicious food that was served to my guests to the great ambiance created by the yacht clubs space, I still have friends and family contacting me weeks later raving about how great the party was.What separates the Long Island Yacht Club from the rest is the staff. From the start, Catering and Dining manager Diane assisted in making this party so special for my mom. She was available at any point to answer questions and helped to create a space so inviting for my guests and mom. Diane helped to make what couldve been an overwhelming experience hosting a surprise party very effortless and calming. Chef Matt created a fabulous menu filled with a variety of choices to please every guests pallet. Choices such as a Braised Short Rib and Clams, Mussels, and Shrimp Linguine in a garlic white wine sauce were done to perfection. The staff treated my mom like she was a family member of their own and the Long Island Yacht Club made her 60th birthday an unforgettable celebration. Highly recommend and would host another party there!

Great place because South Shore Paddleboards has this as their launch location.

Great place to chill with the family. We were visiting from out of town and my dad brought us for dinner and a boat ride.

Was invited to their pig roast. The facility looks clean and well kept and the members are friendly. Three stars only because no floating docks.

Attended a christening at the club it was a great time buffet style but they cleared between courses. I dont know what the cost was but it was well done open bar was great bartenders were on it

Good evening, I’d like to make a major suggestion, the food and menu here are terrible. Word of mouth the menu is short with little options for such a high end place. Try expanding your menu with some seafood and steaks. Check out snapper inn, the view in oakdale or tellers menu for some ideas. It’s a shame because I was so close to getting a membership until my buddy over there and my wife’s friend that are currently members there steered me away by showing me the menu. Please expand your menu, it’s almost ridiculous. I’d like to dock my boat there for 2020. Let’s see.

Very good food in a beautifulul setting. Spacious, with a nice outdoors bar, outside eating and a very nice indoor dining room - gracious and elegant with a nautical decor. Being on the Great South Bay makes for a pleasant relaxing atmosphere. There are many amenities including a beautiful Olympic swimming pool and tennis courts.

Bill a young man that cleaned our familys boat did a terrible job. Paid no attention to detail and had a high and mighty attitude as if he was to good to do the job that we paid for

If youre thinking of joining, save yourself the heartache. If youve already joined, see you on the other side. This is a club dominated by the people that have boats here. If youre not a boater, you dont rate a hello. If youre coming for the pool, how about it being shut down the entire Labor Day weekend last year because of health authority edict? Tennis? The courts are like the BQE with bumps and potholes everywhere. The food? LOL....yeah, try the food. Stay away

Beautiful location. I was there for a 1st birthday party and it is really nice place. Staff was very polite and attentive. I would reccomend for a party of maybe group of 50 maybe.

We had a fantastic holiday party there. Great venue, serving staff and bartenders were very good.

Took the family here for the Fourth of July. Awesome fireworks show, beautiful pool for the members and their guests. All the food was fresh and the grounds were groomed.

Great members, great drinks, good food, awesome pool, boat moorings, beautiful view, and wonderful grounds. Great for families with children. Lots of summer fun. Swim team. Tennis. Kayaking. Basketball.
