Ill give 4 starts just because, needs to be more cleaner. But other then that its a good place to hike. Lots a shade. Its a very easy hike, and not to far way, but lots to see if the river would if be more clean such moving all the tress and brunches. But its nice an beautiful. 5/8/20

Park at mile marker 34,83 and follow the trail about a half mile up. BEAUTIFUL little hike off the side of the road. Some scrambling and one brief stream crossing, but no higher than ankle-deep. Gorgeous waterfall at the end. Freezing, but a nice way to cool off after a long day of hiking.

Quick and easy trail. The hike was fairly short with a little bit of elevation gain. Mostly shaded with water flowing. OK for dogs and kids. The water is super refreshing. Please DON’T FORGET TO PACK OUT YOUR TRASH.

This hike is just amazing!! Would rate it as moderate even though its a short one (about a mile round trip). There is no sign at the start of the trail and no dedicated parking lot. Just park at the side of the road, and you will see a stream of water running parallel to the trail. It has a steady elevation gain and you pass few cabins on way. The stream is full of water and the forest is just magical at this time of the year. It is like being transported in another enchanting world! The trail gets a bit rocky and scramble-y as you go further. Be careful with the kids as the rocks get slippery and steep. The fall itself is pumping water and is in full flow. It is a wonderful sight!! The canyon ends here so chances of going off trail are pretty less. Please note that there are no marked directions on the entire trail. We had a 5 yr old and a 6 yr old with us who really had fun and just needed helping hands at times while climbing some rocks. Overall a great experience! A memorable memorial day for us.

The drive up is super fun but the hike is hard to find. Great hike though, especially if you climb the side of the waterfall.

Most drive right by and have no clue what theyve missed. Sweet secret treasure with just a small adventurous effort. Ever changing in natural scenery, fallen trees and wildlife.

One of the best hikes, be warned your feet will get wet so wear good footwear, and the hike is intense. Must climb rocks and crouch under tree trunks

Cute little hike. Nice up hill to the falls with a water crossing. Lots of water at the falls (late June). Beware of mosquitos.

Best waterfall hike in the area.Love the second waterfall which has a hidden lowkey entrance I advise it is a bit tough to get too you have to climb using a rope attached to a tree and your basically hanging off the side of the mountain hanging on to a rope but boy o boy If you make it up there you basically found yourself your own hidden waterfall resort . So beautifulI love how it’s so low key not many ppl know of it so I never encounter any other person there and that’s a big plus especially due to the whole covid restrictions and distance regulations .

Hidden gem way up in the Mountains above Azusa. I read some reviews below how this was a short, easy hike. NOT the case. Many people stop about a half mile up the trail, as a large tree blocks the trail. You must go under or over that tree and the trail continues for another 30 minutes. At that point you get the the Falls. Very wet, steep and rocky in many parts along the way. Take an extra pair of shoes and socks. You will need it.

Beautiful hike we had! The “ entrance” is near mile marker 34.84. You walk mostly in the shade near the creek going up to the waterfall. Few times you need to cross the creek to follow the route. Water friendly shoes can be handy. Also you pass 2 cabins. We had our 2 dogs with us, a labrabully and a Labrador and they did good too.A little climbing was necessary here and there. We really enjoyed. A very quiet getaway.

Just went here again. The water is still abundant which is surprising. Most of trail is under the shadows so it’s very comfortable to walk. You can see different nice shape and color flowers along the way. The water in the end is big with lots of mist. Back and forth only takes about an hour. Easy hike.

At the end of this hike I was relaxing at the bottom of the falls , and when I looked up I saw a bear looking at me. It was on the ridge on the left of the falls about 30 feet up. It was trying to find a way down so I took off! No point in me waiting for it

Its a very secluded place, was a fun hike. I went on New Years day 2017, the day after we had some rain in LA . When I arrived, the clouds were still low, it was foggy and moist, and it created such a enchanting mysterious atmosphere. I would go again for sure. A great escape from the LA bustle
