The lady in the front was super nice [: I enjoyed this place so much! If you love history, stop by! Youll spend up to two hours here ! It is self guided, which is a huge plus. I definitely want to come back for a second time ! [The mannequin in the old bank scared me so much I screamed when I walked in! Haha made for a good laugh with my mom. ]

YO THE PICTURES I AM FINDING ON HERE ARE MISSING ALL THE MANNEQUINS!!! WHERED THEY GO? D: I was gonna show my friends where to avoid going to gun fights at!!! looool! No for real tho this place is legendary for that. They shoulda left the mannequins up, that was probably the best part. No matter what time of the day or what day of the year it was, even if it wasnt decorated for it, it was always halloween at the Aztec Museum with those there, making it the most amazing Museum in existence. #BringBackTheMannequins

Aztec is blessed to have an amazing museum of the history of their town and region. They have actual buildings that are hundreds of years old and amazing pieces of local history donated by local families. I truly enjoyed seeing all of the incredible items on display. I hope this small town is aware of how unique this is and how rare it is to have access to this much history.

The Aztec museum is really outstanding. We were really surprised at the amount of items they had in this Museum. The items dated back to the 1900s up to current time. And what was really surprising was the mining community set up in the back of the museum that you can tour. Theres also a caboose from a train that you can go through and explore on your own. These are not guided tours you just walk at your own pace. The museum is handicap-accessible. There is free parking in front of the museum. Unfortunately I dont remember how much we paid to view the museum but I believe it was about $5. this museum is well worth a stop AZ I was fascinated by this Museum.

What a wonderful museum! You can spend hours walking around both the inside and outside exhibits. It takes you back in time to your childhood. Its your Grandmas attic on steroids. Its got all the things in all the old photos you grew up with. Its warm and cozy; a place to wander about slowly to find the hidden gems. No matter how many times I go there, I always find something Ive missed.

Whats not to like about history being saved to be shared with future generations. At one time Aztec grew a lot of apples but as the oil industry took over they became dependant on it. Stop by and tour history of the area. They have a lot of stuff to look at.
