We LOVE this park! Always clean, its covered which is extremely nice, and there are different parts of the playground for older and younger kids. There is a pretty garden/gazebo area and a walking path. Its also right next to the library so it makes it a really fun trip for the kids. Highly recommend! Big area for parties and picnics too.

Love this park, its big and clean and fun for the kids. I love that its shaded! I can get a nice long walk in around the walking track while my kids have a good time and burn off some steam. Always a bonus when a park has swings, too! Plenty of benches and tables for parents to sit nearby also.

Really nice park for the area. Right next to the public library, which is also quite nice. There are 3 jungle gyms and a swing set that are all covered from the elements which is extremely nice in the crazy heat weve been having. My daughter loves it here and weve gone back several times now for her to play. There are also running trails, a tennis court, basketball court, and a sand volleyball court.

Its a wonderful park with plenty of space for a lot of different activities! There is a very large playground for children and plenty of benches/picnic tables to sit at. Overall a fun and beautiful place to be!

Nice huge kids park to visit, library is just right down the corner. This place is perfect location to photo shoot particularly at the gazebo. Bigger kids/adults can play basketball, soccer, and volleyball. It also has a walk/run trail for walking or jogging. The tent / cover is a huge game changer for the kids during summer.

Nice park, we went for the walking trail. Lots of places to sit, shade, great looking play area. But no bathrooms that we saw....library next to the park, maybe thats where people go to go.

This is an amazing park! It has bathroom access behind the library and a great playground and easy bike path for your little ones learning to ride!

I love this park its always clean and maintained well. My kids have been playing here for years and the trail is great for getting in a workout.

Perfect place for a nice walk, a cute picnic, to play basketball or tennis or even volleyball. They have a cute little garden area. The playground it very well cared for by the city. Cleaned the wasps nest and dirt dobber nests out.

This park is easily the best one in Azle. The shades make it play ready even when its hot and bright outside. We also like the walking path.

Nice Park, plenty of open BBQ pits and good sized play ground. Seems to have a jogging trail. The park is well kept.

Such a pretty park. Well maintained too. Definitely a treasure there.

Great place for families, birthday parties and town celebrations. It also features a basketball court, sandy volley ball, soccer area and an exercise trail with challenge stops. Runs along a stream that is quite beautiful. Playground also has a new shade canopy. There is also a gazebo and a small butterfly garden stop. Great area for pictures. We took Prom pics of the kids here.

We love this park. There are water fountains and most accessible restrooms are located at the back of the library adjacent to the track. The bike/jogging track is visible from the playground and picnic tables in case one of your children want to ride their bike while the other plays. (Caution, you may not be able to hear your child from the far side of the track so make sure to keep a very watchful eye.) We love to go to the library for story time and then play at the park after. I have even held a birthday party here under the gazebo.

Great park to walk the dogs! I just wish they would add a light or two around the half mile track for those short winter days. Its hard to make it before sunset but we still walk our dogs anyway.

Great playground for the grandkids

Great place for family fun. Run and play and be in the outdoors, every thing from playgrounds to city events!

This is a great park. There is a walking track that surrounds the entire park with benches every 1/8 mile or so for breaks. There is a wonderful playground area for the kids and it has a brand new shade cover over the entire thing. In the summer they put on free concerts on Friday nights. Its a great place to enjoy music and let the kids run around. The library is o. The north west corner if the park and it has bathrooms. The south border of the park is a beautiful creek and there are several benches to observe nature peacefully.

This is a great park with a covered play ground. Theres a paced trail with exercise equipment. You can rent gazebos for parties, as well as see shows at the pavilion.

Went for the 4th of July show this year with my daughter and it was great. she loved it and it was not a short show. i enjoy the walking paths and the covered playground is awesome.

Really love this park. Our family goes quite often. Its always clean. The only thing that could be an improvement is if there were restrooms closer to the common area. This is a common opinion of people I know.

Had a wonderful time. The Churches involved in putting the event together did an awesome job... free food, snowcones and the fireworks display was the best Ive seen in years and to top it off no fights, everyone was peaceful and friendly

A great park with covered playground equipment for when its too hot out. Amazing trails to walk and they always hold weekly events here too.

Great park for everyone. Awesome covered playgrounds, picnic tables and walking paths. During May and June, they have concert in the park on Fridays. Great community and the park is kept clean. Definitely check it out.

Love this park. Very well maintained. Never any trash. Grass is always cut. Play equipment is all in good shape. Love that the kids playground area is covered.

We go here for the park and pokemon stops. Beautiful location.

Everything was really nice. Large bathrooms, playground and pavilion available for reservations. The only problem was no lights on the playground after dark but can reserve till after dark.

Great walkway, shaded playground, and nice indoor toilets underneath the library. My dogs love to go for walks there. I love their seasonal outdoor concerts.

Everything was awesome.....took the baby, nd dog they had they most fun. Always clean and has the shades for the playground so its not unbearable. We love this place.....

Walking distance from public library, skate park, nice creek (good fishing spot, no trespassing), with a trail around large field for sports or family get together. My go to place on my days off work, beautiful pavilion to sit under and read a book.

This is my favorite park to take my kids, they love the slides its not made entirely of metal so kids wont get 3rd degree burns. 5stars will always recommend taking kids here or even running.

One of the best parks Ive been to for small children!! Hats of to the Azle leadership to design and put in such a great place!!

Has a playground for ages 5-12 and a smaller playground for littler ones. Both playgrounds are next to each other and covered well. There is a pavillion nearby with plenty of tables for a birthday party. Beside that is a stage with seating. A little ways down the sidewalk from there is the library with outside access to water fountains and bathrooms. On the opposite side of the playground are flower beds with flowers that attract butterflies, and a small stage with walking trails some trails are paved while others go into the trees. There are benches along the paved trails to rest on. There is a basketball court and volleyball pit near the playgrounds. Parking is located near the library as well as the playgrounds.

Best park in Azle. The playground is covered with two large sails to keep the playground equipment cooler in the summer. Lots of walking trails with flowers and wildlife.

This is really a nice park. Adjoined to a really nice Library. They just covered the entire play area which makes it so much nicer in this Texas heat. They have movies in the park on weekends. Its all free. Great family night.

The City of Azle hosts Music in the park every Friday night in May & June. Its free to the public and its great family fun! The park is a wonderful place to picnic, play or walk the trails year round.

This park has a walking path, stage, skate area, playground, gazebo, volleyball and a large field. It is located near the library on main street. I went during the week in the summer and it wasnt too crowded. The walking path seems to be popular. I prefer Shady Grove Park.

They have all kids of stuff for the kids to play on. There is an awesome gazebo. Theres a basketball court. They also have a skate park there. If Im not mistaken there is also a creek running beside it also. Nice place. No bathrooms around so go before u get there

We love this Park and we frequent it multiple times a week. Its nice to have a place that is always picked up and clean. The playground itself is good for larger and smaller children. The walking trails are also nice, specifically because they have a measured distance on them so people who are trying to get healthier have an easier time tracking their workout. The only reason I give this park 4 stars is because this park really needs a bathroom. the nearest bathroom is at the ground level of the library at the far end of the park and when you have a 2 year old like me you almost never make it that far. I have had to leave multiple times because my child TTS on accident because we cant make it to the bathroom on time.

This is such a nice park. The newly installed canopy shading is wonderful during the summer months for kids and parents. There is a nice track for walking or bikes. Toddler to preteen equipment at park. Music in the park every Friday night at 8pm June and July

It is a great place for music, fireworks on the 4th of July,movie in the park,playground for the kids,and dont forget the library.

I like the shade over the park and easy to parking area.
