This is a very fun and challenging course. Didnt know about it until today....it was worth it and hope to play there again soon. Food and service was great, go play, you wont regret it!

Have been golfing all over the valley for some time and this is the best kept, best managed, best staffed I have come across in some time. Course is in great shape for this time of season. Kudos to all involved.

Great course!! Our 1st time there today and we were welcomed so excellently by Blake. We are looking forward to playing here more often. The rolling hills give more of a challenge but totally worth the fun!

I had high hopes for this course, but ultimately a disappointing experience. The Good: nice fairways and greens. Fun layouts. Club seemed really nice too! The Bad: pace of play was terrible, so slow. We started at 230 and only made it through 12 holes. At 545 pm a kid rolled up gave us a ten minute warning and then pulled the flag of the hole we were in the middle of playing! It was definitely still plenty light for a few more holes. This made me feel a little ripped off I was expecting to play another 25 minutes or so. No marshall on site at all to help regulate pace. I understand not having water cooler for covid reasons (assuming that makes any difference, who knows) but at least have a bucket here or there for washing clubs and balls, thats not asking too much right?

Absolutely love to play a round of golf here. If you like golfing youll love this place. Vets get free range balls. The course has a good mix of wide and narrow fairways. Challenging enough to keep you interested. The greens are unpredictable.

Overseeding was completed. Greens were in good shape and very few divots. Fairways had sufficient grass. Price was good.

The pro shop was very welcoming. What a delight Mr. Berry was. We enjoyed ourselves so much we came back the next week. Interesting layout, no 2 holes are alike. Course is in decent shape

Was a fun track fairways in great shape, greens were iffy. Very shaggy and had some dead spots. I would guess thats atypical. My guess is they are getting ready to aerate and top dress. Staff was very friendly.

Paid and was told Starter is gone but first tee is “wide open” . Get outside no carts left. When back inside and asked if i could walk, was told sure but it’s the same price. Went to first tee and there were 4 groups waiting to tee off that were 30 min behind. Came back inside and asked for a refund so i could go home , was told no repeatedly with the icing on top being told “can’t even give you a rain check” UNREAL . I have played golf since i was a kid and never had an experience like this. Went home PLAYING NO GOLF and PAID FULL GREEN FEES!! Waste of time and money .

Beware when booking. They cancelled a tee time because they changed their advertised price. Instead of honoring the price they emailed a cancellation. Bad business in my opinion.

Course in great shape. Greens are not to fast and they are not shaggy. A great value

They hosted 24 crazies with such ease. Loved the course, great for all levels of talent. Derek and Blake (?!) were tremendous helpers and so excited to have us.

What a Outstanding time I had, The course is in Great shape, Both Blake and Mr. Crawford were and always seem to be Most Professional, Helpful and Courteous! Good round. Greens were solid. Patches in fairways but still playable.

The course is in great shape including the greens which roll pretty true. Super friendly staff and the pace of play always seem to be good there. I play here often and find it to be one of the best values in the valley, especially in the winter.

Well wanted to play 9 holes, Im from out of town looked on the website and thats what it said they had so got to the course and they said they dont do 9 holes and he would not let me when it said on the website, and he said it shouldnt be there so I didnt play at all.

Glad they have stayed open thought this Covid-19 pandemic so we may experience some sort of normalcy.Thank you... Great golf course great price

Nice course some of the tee boxes were a little rough

Booked a tee time for 10/3 at 4:28 through your website. I was sent a confirmation email and everything. When I arrived, they had no reservation and the guy behind the counter said we stopped taking reservations at 3:30. A complete waste of time and a huge inconvenience. I wont be back.

Prefect course for my skill level

Very good course. Wide fairways, greens roll pretty true and quick. You can tell its popular lots of divots and pitch marks. Good food at fair price. All and all pretty good experience for 1st time at this cours.

Good layout, however large GUR areas need to be permanently fixed

Only thing good was tee boxes and greens. Over 5 hour round and the re-seeding is a disaster. Do not if they can bring it back as mowed too short and grass is dying. Tee shots, especially on the back nine were all on bare spots in the fairway. Will not play again this year

Staff is great, but I cant say the same about the course. The overseed is light and I dont think any ball marks ever get repaired on the greens. At $39 the price is reasonable, but I will be playing elsewhere.

The course is in very bad shape and for the money we could have played a much nicer course.

Former PGA Club Pro:Biggest fairways I have ever seen! Tee it up high and swing away, most bad tee shots will find the fairway anyway. Its short for long hitters. No real rough to speak of, but the fairways and greens are in great shape (mid May). Par 3s are reasonable (longest is #16, i hit 7 iron from the tips), par 5s are reachable in two if you play the correct tees for you. Its a bit long from the forward tees, but not stupid. Greens rolled about 11 and very smooth. Nice clubhouse, friendly staff, nice practice facilities, course was busy and our 3some (me and my parents) played in 3:50 in no hurry and let three singles play through.Amazing for the price, I absolutely recommend it, and the price is unbeatable: $29 includes cart. Really, really good!! Way better than 500 Golf Club.

It was CROWDED this Sunday so that made for a LONG round of Golf, and as a single they were trying to start me out after a group of 15 instead of putting me out in front of them. Didnt make ANY sense. Greens were a little slow, once again looked like they were Airated recently and I was here last weekend and they looked the same way. But I still enjoyed my round, but they need better organization.

Regulars at Coldwater. Excellent customer service from owners that appreciate the business. Many upgrades since new ownership took over. The course is well maintained, better than any comparably price courses weve found in the area.

One of my favorite golf courses in the west valley. Friendly and helpful staff.

Really, really fun course that is very forgiving and so far in excellent shape as we heat up here in the valley. Sort of tucked back into the neighborhood there, hard to loose a ball once you find the course! Enjoy.

Great round for the price point. Mid-handicappers have plenty of opportunity to score. The tips on the back 9 offer a challenge even for low handicap players. Greens are quick. Open layout but plenty of areas to get in trouble if you miss the fairway as most holes have a wash area on either side of the fairway that drops 20 ft below the playing surface.

So many better golf courses out there. You can tell management and/or the owner has 0 cares for the property. So many spots that are barren and covered with weeds and bushes. I feel bad for the people who live in the houses next to those spots.

Good track, fast play; out before 0600 done by 0900. Fast greens took some time to get speed down. Fairways were green and playable, rough playable. Need your own yardage device. Easy to find and get into.

The course looked great. It was a beautiful day. The holes that we had a chance to play were both a bit forgiving and a bit challenging. The clubhouse looked great.One of the downsides to this course were their extremely sluggish golf carts. This could have been one of the reasons why the pace of play was at four hours and forty five minutes, according to the starter. I played on a Friday morning at 9:15am. We were constantly waiting, on average, at least eight to ten minutes between shots due to the traffic ahead of us.Overall, its a nice place, but too slow for my liking. I would recommend an upgrade in golf carts in their near feature.

The course was in good shape. Fun to play in spite of the very very windy conditions. Chad the counter person was very hospitable.

Great course. Front nine gives you a chance to find it if you got it, then here comes the back nine. Love courses that every hole is completely different. This will test your game.

It was fun. A little bit hot (115°), but we had a 35 mile an hour wind to help. Fairways were dry and fast. Drank a lot of water!

Course is in pretty good condition right now. Concessions were very kind, very friendly. Pro was very cool. Pace of play was fine. Great day at Coldwater.

For a golf course that is built in a residential neighborhood, I think it is great. Price is reasonable, staff is great, course is generally well manicured and greens are in great shape. My only complaint is I would like to see better sand in the bunkers and more gaff carts.

Had never played the course before and was pleasantly surprised. Great shape and tough course. Watch out for the greens they are tricky but consistent. Great experience.

Nothing fancy. 20 year old carts. But the front nine is awesome. Great grass, great layout. The back nine is still nice grass but lacks visual appeal. Train tracks and houses right on the course.

Hit the range... good time

Carts could be better. Everything else was great.

I have only hit the range, good place for a practice driving, and chipping. Big bag of balls was $6.00 and the warm-up bags are $3.00. They also sometimes just toss out huge buckets of balls for free, for golfers to warm up before they hit the links.

Cant wait to get back to this place such a special place

I played there today for the first time and I was quite a bit surprise about the quality of this golf course. Im from Avondale but I never thought of playing there since I dont hear about them very much. This is a hidden paradise of Avondale - bar none. When I got there at the pro shop, I was offered summer membership for $149 and I told the manager, Drew, that I only want to pay the green fee for the day. After I played the first 9 holes, I went back to the pro shop and told the manager that I want to sign up for the summer membership which I did. I think its a great deal - it is relatively cheap for the quality course youre playing. Driving range is included when you play. You only pay for the cart fee. Hats off to Drew and his staff who are so nice and courteous !!!
