This place was great. They have great prices and you can earn points to buy things in their store. I tried the high ropes course and it was really cool. The only thing I wish was better, is the laser tag. I wish the course was a little bigger.

Granddaughters bday party. Nice atmosphere! We had a really good time and the kids had a blast, the hostess kept them busy. Food was delicious. Overall building and restrooms were clean and sanitizer was available for regular use. Although we had to request a different server, I still gave 5 stars. The waitress that took over was awesome! Because of Nauticas exceptional service, we will definitely come back.

Went 11/20/20 a Friday night. Things started off great. Then the hood shows up. Smoking weed in vape pens and getting loud and rowdy. Management does nothing.Took our group of friends and children and left. Parking lot full of booming cars blasting rap music.Don’t go on weekend nights. Unless you want a contact high and experience thug life.

Main Event Entertainment in Avon, Ohio is a cool place. Laser Tag, Bowling, Rope Course, Bar, Prize Shop, La Bellas, and Video Games. I spent four hours there having fun. Payed $100 for one adult and two children. The money purchased two all day activity cards and three all day arcade cards. Its a very nice place with a good staff. Plenty of cool video games, a great atmosphere, and fun for all ages.

Absolutely astonishing atmosphere. I really enjoyed myself (as an adult) at this establishment and my nieces and nephews loves it too. Keep up the good work Main Event

Went there to do unlimited bowling with the $7.99 play all day pass. Bowling lanes were in great condition and very cool with the lights. Nautica was our server, she went out of her way to make sure we had a great experience. Arcade was ok, only reason for taking a star off is due to the large number of games that were turned off.

Most of the staff were friendly...But we signed up for things and we got a really late time which of they were packed Id understand but they were not and for at Least an hour no one was on it and I asked why we couldnt go sooner since no one was up there and they said they were booked til 10. It was irrelevant that no one was doing it at the time, but ok...and the bartender said they couldnt make shakes so I went it the Bowli g area and asked for one and the Gal got it right away! Why did the bartender tell me they werent manling shakes Today???? I never coming back and I will Let Everyone know what a disaster this place has became!!!!

My experience was decent. Lots of confusion with my kids birthday party in the beginning. We had a large group of 18 people and the manager (not hannah, she was great) did not help organize at all. She didnt help split our groups for bowling and it was just super chaotic. They knew we had a large group coming and were not prepared at all. The power went out and we lost time bowling and didnt get extra time. Our hostess/waitress was nice and bubbly and friendly but that manager was rude. When Hannah came to get payments and speak to me she was pleasant. Other than the chaos in the beginning it was a good time.

It was very fun. I did laser tag, bowling and the gravity roped course. The food was also really good. 10/10 would recommend

Theres something for everyone here. They also have a bar area and Italian street food.Wide variety of arcade games, basketball, skeeball, Mario kart, worlds largest Pac-Man, and so much more! The Typhoon is an awesome motion simulator that delivers up to 2G forces of acceleration.Easy to enjoy all the games on a Monday night. Ive been on other occasions and tried the laser tag which was a fun adrenaline rush. The bowling is also a great time and they have service and seating at the lanes so you can enjoy food and drink.

Not impressed at all....went to have dinner tonight with friends and we chose Main Event because none of us had been there before. We were seated and it was 6:45p.m. took a while for our server to come over. We ordered our drinks...2 sweet teas, 1 coke and 1 diet coke. By 7:19 we hadnt received our drinks and our server hadnt been seen since we placed our drink order. At that point we decided to leave....let the hostesses know as we walked out why we were leaving and they both said sorry but neither seemed to concerned and the one hostess was more concerned about whatever she had been looking at on the phone in her hand as we walked out. We went to another restaurant less than a mile away got seated in 4 minutes (impressive since they were on a wait) and enjoyed our evening. Too bad we never got the chance at Main Event....after reading previous reviews it seems our experience has been consistent with how others were treated.

From the front desk to the back... our service was awful! Noah F. at the front desk was unprofessional, rude, and didn’t explain the processes accurately! After getting wristbands, we went to laser tag and were told we needed to check in because there was a waitlist. Our time was 9:05 (we made the reservation at 8:43). We were back by laser tag at 9:03 and no employees were out there. After waiting for almost 10 minutes, we were told that we missed our appointment! After speaking with a manager (Erin in the pink) we were told that they overbooked the sessions. (which clearly wasn’t our fault and SHE ADMITTED THAT). After asking for a refund, we were told that because we were there for almost an hour, we couldn’t receive a refund (they have a 30 minute policy). As a group that lives out of town, we were looking forward to our experience! I would not recommend this location!

Ive missed arcades so much over the these last few months of everything being closed due to covid-19. Arcades were a huge part of my life year round and this was the first one that we visited after they started to reopen. It was great! Things being wiped down, friendly employees, cool prizes. It was kinda sad that some of the games were closed for social distancing but we obviously understand why and completely support it!Its a different experience for sure but the fact that it can still exist in this time is amazing. Thank you guys for bringing us so much happiness!

First things first; I have to leave a star to post a review, otherwise it gets a 0 star.Very poor, I mean very very poor service. We sit down to have our server (which for her sake Ill leave out of this post) watch us sit down and then watch her sit down at her table that her and her friend were at drinking from their cups looking at their phones. How disrespectful is that?Finally after being told by the manager she finally comes over to our table drops a QR code on the table and then she says Ill be back in 5 minutes Well luckily for our son he takes my phone loads up the menu for us and then 10-15 minutes she finally comes back. Not wearing her mask properly, she takes our order, struggles threw confirming our menu, and leaves.Well after another 10 minutes she brings us our game cards but still no drinks... another 10 minutes, ... still no drinks!She proceeds to sit at a table to relax.- Her buttons on her shirt were opened too low.- Their was only two other tables, it was a slow night for them!-The restrooms soap, sanitizer and paper towels were broken, and most stalls had no toilet paper.Would hate to see how a busy night looks like!...Well after that we had enough and we agreed to go to D&B and WE LEFT.

Nice place for a family outing which is why its so crowded. So expect long waiting time for the adventurous seekers.

I recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a childs party here. I was greeted and escorted to my area. My children and their party was escorted to each event by staff and brought back to my table safely. The food (including cake) was distributed to everyone by staff. All I did was showed up and relaxed because they had it all under control.

Had a great time. Video games are pricey but its worth it. And all attractions are priced great and fun great way to get out and have some fun. Food was great priced Right for the taste and size.

The service at this location was absolutely terrible!! The food was over priced meanwhile we sat over 45minutes waiting for 2 burgers and boneless wings while the cooking staff and servers were not wearing masks nor gloves while handling the food. Some of the guests were extremely rude and disrespectful to the equipment this place offers. The staff doesnt do anything to people acting a fool here. I will not be returning to this place ever again and will advise others to stay away!!

Worst service ever! Went bowling on a slow night Wednesday with a group of 6 people. It took over 20 min just to get waters. Then we put in our drink orders and that was well over 30 min for 3 beers and 3 mixed drinks. Next round we went right up to the bar and that was even worse. The fossil of a bartender couldn’t make 6 drinks in the 30 min till last call so 2 of our group couldn’t get drinks. Tried speaking to the (hourly) managers only to get defensive and rude responses about dealing with another problem. They were just walking around avoiding responsibility, because they walked by twice and did nothing to help the bartender who was overwhelmed by 6 customers at the empty bar. Don’t waste your money here.

Main Event hosted my daughters 10th birthday party. Bowling, build your own pancake buffet. With crafts and then gaming for the children. They even left with goodie bags.Maya was the hostess and she was amazing. Everything she did was great. She was awesome with the kids, helping to get the proper size bowling shoes which isnt easy for so many kids. And she really kept the fun energy going with the children throughout the party, and maintained order during crafting. She really was great!There were some concerns that were out of her control however.We paid for 3 bowling lanes, 14 bowlers. The supervisor told her to only use 2 because they were busy and might need it. According to the rules posted, no more than 5 bowlers per lane. So the kids were waiting much longer between turns than they should have. The third Lane had our name on it but it went unused.We paid for a pizza that never made it to the table. When we asked about it, the supervisor said we didnt order one. Our host informed the supervisor that it was in our order. Then the supervisor said they would make it and box it up so we could take it home. We declined and the price was removed.The gaming cards were supposed to have 1 VR (virtual reality) game credit, and $10 of regular gaming credit. The kids were ushered to the VR games first. More than half of their cards malfunctioned, or didnt have the VR credit loaded. So instead when they played the VR game it wiped out the $10 gaming credit.Speaking multiple times with the supervisor we were told it had been resolved twice, but it wasnt. The last time we talked to the supervisor it was apparent that we were annoying. I know she can look at the computer and tell that the cards werent used. 8 of the 14 cards had 0 credits and 0 tickets. My wife was so frustrated she went to the bowling desk and bought cards for the kids so they could play.Our daughter had friends from school and from church at the party, we couldnt let some of them play, and others not. We shouldnt have been placed in that situation at all. That was of course at the end of the party.To spend over $600, and then some, and be treated like a nuisance because you want what you paid for is a poor way to conduct business.I would like to thank Maya for all she did. She was certain this never happens, she believes the supervisor was doing everything she could. Maya maintained professionalism even when it could make her look foolish. She did the right thing.I think on paper the party seems like a great idea. The kids did have a great time. For the birthday girls parents, we found it to be very frustrating and seriously embarrassing.We will not be returning to Main Event for any reason in the future.

All the games are in good condition. But the food is the best.

Rude staff and no drinks were available after 10pm on Tuesday even though theyre open until midnight. Was very dehydrated by 11:30pm after bowling.

My husband was in a wheelchair and was able to play our favorite game.

This place is a great place to kill some time. But make it worth your while. Get a time card not a game credit card. There is very few games at this location to play. Mostly ticket games. Still fun

They atmosphere is nice. The food was pretty good, and the service was excellent. Theres plenty to do here, so just ask the workers to explain everything. There was a decent selection of arcade games. Laser tag and and rope course were available. The bowling alley has 22 lanes. One unique feature is the cafe near the arcade. Its a nice change of pace from the typical bar & grill food, and you wont have to wait as long.

Waited 20 mins for them to clean off a table in the dining area where there was no employees in sight. After being seated, we were not greeted once & luckily I was able to find a menu on another table that needed cleaned off. I had to go to the bar and put in my drink & food order, because again we were there almost 45 mins without a waiter even getting our drinks !!! But if you look in the kitchen all the employees are just standing around talking. On a Friday night !!! Very unhappy with my experience.

We held our daughters 5th birthday here because she wanted a bowling party with ramps and those are hard to find! We had never been here so we were not sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised at the awesome service! Our hostess met us at the desk to get all the kids shoes, take presents and the cake. They were on top of it with drinks for everyone! The food was fantastic! They even took care of lighting the candles and bringing my daughter her presents out! It was so relaxing to actually enjoy a birthday party for once since i didnt have to run around doing everything! The kids loved playing the arcade games aftewards. They gave us a girft certificate to come back for bowling again too!We absolutely loved the service and the fun! We Will be back just for fun and more birthday parties!!

Got 2 all day passes and got moneys worth in just playing pool. Loaded cheese fries were delicious. Pizza was good too. Laser tag was fun. Service was good for the type of establishment.

Had a great time playing Skeet Ball, Air Hockey and Cavaliers Basketball along with other games! Food very good as well. The service was great EXCEPT FOR ONE BIG GUY AT THE BAR (which the older kids have access to for food) My kids stated he was not very nice or helpful in a kids place to a couple of our kids who were asking for help on how to order food. Although there was one smaller and nice young man than stepped in and helped Also, bathrooms were plentiful, but needed some attention. That would have gotten a pass, but Im removing one of my stars because of the big guy at the bar . Other than that DEFINITELY will go back! Me and the Kidz had lots of fun!!

This is an interesting place that has something for almost everyone. What we have is a combination sports bar; restaurant; bowling alley; game arcade; rope walking course; rock wall climbing and mini golf entertainment center all under one roof. Now thats alot of moving parts but the Main Event does a great job at all of it. The food is upscale all American bar standards plus a few surprises and was well prepared. The wait staff and others were extremely pleasant and professional and genuinely seemed happy to be there. I want to give a shout out to our server Nautica who was outstanding. Great Date Night destination and a good way to entertain the kids too. I highly recommend giving them a look.

If I could give this a zero I would because there’s no point of a wrist band if you have to sign up for everygame and the zip lining thing is dum because my experience was me and my sister Got a 7:30 line waiting ticket and when u got there I accidentally threw away the ticket and the employee didn’t let us one and I went back and got a new one and she still didn’t let us cause her fat lazy self didn’t feel like putting us on there and they are unorganized I will never come back to main event again! Worst experience ever and I spent 200$ for what

Ive been to Main Event twice and really enjoyed it both times. The arcade games are pricey, the cheapest is skee ball for $1, but there are some unique games that are really entertaining.Food was awesome, better than I expected, and the different options make it a fun place to check out (ropes course, bowling, laser tag).

I want to thank your employee Emmett for his awesome service. He took care of our party of 35 people with a smile on his face the entire time. I cannot thank him enough for his kindness and understanding. He definitely deserves some recognition for his patience, professionalism and overall happy attitude. Thank you Emmett!

Visited on a Monday for unlimited bowling, laser tag, and obstacle course. The bowling did require an additional charge for shoes. In the end it came out to around $15/person. Not bad considering what is included. The laser tag is an enormous two floors with plenty of areas to conceal yourself to better attack your opponents.The obstacle course is elevated above the arcade. Harnessed to beams roughly 20 feet in the air you can walk through different obstacles that lead to a zip line. A frightening thrill easily worth a try.The bowling was easily my favorite. Everything was clean and new. The alley balls were practically new with an extensive selection of weights and finger sizes. Each lane features a tablet score keeper also equipped with a camera. Players can have their picture taken and turned into an animated character. Each time you bowl a short animation plays on the TV above the lane. Very fun and entertaining!

The air hockey turns off after a certain time. Not cool at all. Do not play the air hockey table. This is the second time I have tried them and both times they shut off. The workers will restart it for you for free if you complain. But you should not have to do that. Sad. The game costs 1.80 to play.

This place is awesome! Everyone we went with had an awesome time! The only thing i might suggest is getting more lively bartenders. Watching them make drinks and interact with customers was like watching the zombies from walking dead.

Here for a hockey party, and Lexi and Sofia busting out the Cupid Shuffle was the cutest thing ever. Totes adorbs! Gladly tipped each of them $5 just for going the extra mile to add value to the guest experience. If you get the chance, you should too!

Great place for food and family fun!

Fun experience for my 10 yr old, well I wont lie us adults had fun too! We had a server named Nautica she deserves a raise! She was such a pleasant hard working young lady! Thank you to her! What a pleasant experience!!

The food was very good and we received very good service. We were there for my granddaughters birthday. It is very good place for kids. A little too loud for me though.

I wish I could say the experience was great for my 1st visit but that wasnt the case. There was a 3-4 hour wait for all activities except for the arcade games. It couldve been a more enjoyable experience if we couldve done more.

Go on Mondays it’s half off but don’t buy the $20 arcade because half the games aren’t included and the kids didn’t get tickets ! The glow bowl , laser tag , and I think the zip lining is definitely worth the $20($10on Mon) is worth it !!! Pool tables and decent food/drinks for adults ! Oh and if you go on Google maps search and you sign up through their website on their you’ll also get a $20 off coupon to use at any time:)

Great place for kids and adults.

We had to go two weekends to spend our gift card because of the slow service all around. We had to get our drinks from the bar when bowling and carry them over because after asking 4 times and half way done with bowling no server came to us. Manager didnt have much interest in helping staff or customer .

Horrible service. The food came without the french fries, then we were waiting 25 mins for a drink. Also we were waiting for ketchup and mayo for another 20 mins, we have to go to the kitchen and ask for them. The server disappeared for 1 hour after taking our order as someone elsr brought us the food for 1 hr then she came back to the table asking if everything was ok. Are you serious, asking that after all that. Dont waste your time going there or youll regret it.

Audrey and anisleigh were our two party hosts and they were Amazing!! They need a raise or at least recognized. The entire party of kids loved them. They interacted with every party guest and was helpful with every detail. They made my daughters 10th birthday party extra special and I cannot thank them enough for everything! It was our first time here and we will definitely be going back.

The laser tag guns were not working properly. A server never showed up while bowling after they asked if we would like one.

My children enjoys the atmosphere and all the edifice has to offer to families, from the bowling to the zip lines and ofcourse, the arcade and food!!

Place is way too expensive, I’ll pass. Never coming back honestly. Game selection in arcade is mediocre and is way overpriced. Picture of cyclone game included, anyone familiar with arcades knows that 75 cents for one spin of cyclone is pricey. Was at bar waiting for service for 5 minutes now before walking away (they weren’t busy at all). I’d stick with Dave and Busters or Kalahari.

Great place to take your kids. Multiple things for them to do and theres things for adults. Im 37 and me and my 11 year old son just had a blast playing laser tag.

I like the place but it would have saved us the trouble of travelling over an hour just to be told there was a height requirement for our 5 year old for laser tag. It was not listed on the website when we looked to find something to do as a family of 8. It ruined our night so I had to skip out laser tag & spend more than I wanted to play the arcade games with our 5 year old so the rest could enjoy the laser tag. It wouldve been extremely helpful to add the height requirement on the website before we made that hour drive. She had played laser tag at another place with bo issues we we thought this would be something we all could do together & we couldnt.So please add the height requirement on your website to save the trouble for other families before they make a drive.

I went here for a work event and had a good time before we were overrun by the children. Fun for the whole family, good shuffleboard table and billiards table. Good selection of video games, racing, shooting, and sports.

It was okay. Service was a little slow and there really was mot alot of people eating there. It is like other Main Events I have been too, so not much to say about the attractions.

So we came on monday after 5pm for their special of 10.95. False advertisement if I say so. They do not tell you when you get to counter to pay that if you do the special for 10.95 for games that all the tickets you are winning you are not getting tickets. If you would have bought the 19.99 pass you would collect tickets and also be able to play all games not just certain ones. Not to thrilled about the place. D&B is a much better place.

Kind of a Dave & Busters lite, but in a good way. Bowling alley is far enough away to have fun without being overwhelmed by the gaming sounds. Gravity ropes were lots of fun.

Food was pretty good. I liked the games. Didnt get a chance to go on the course thing above the games but I want to so that counts. Claw machine didnt give me my correct amount . I asked if they could check and fix it, they did so with no hassle. Cool place overall.

Me and my family (my two daughters) and my husband went to spend some quality family time. Unfortunately we had the worst possible experience. I was called names that are very shameful to repeat by their employees. Especially Erin and one employee who was not working that time she was there to play with her son. First of all the bowling lane was broken so we had to call someone to fix it every five minutes. Second of all I went to ask for a refund because we were so annoyed with that whole situation. We got a refund and went to play pool not knowing they charge money for it. We played there before and no one ever asked us to pay any money. and the people who were playing at the other table never paid. But since we had requested the refund the manager told all her employees to hate on us. Another employees told me to “GO BACK TO MY COUNTRY!!!” Can you imagine INfront of my two kids who were just trying to have some fun. Also one lady who works there raised her middle finger on our way out and threatened to smack me. Everyone be careful there are some serious gang including the management who works there. Their employees don’t seem to enjoy what they are doing at all. All of this because of a refund. This is horrible. I even had to request cops for them on the way out. Be careful everyone their employees are scary!

Worst place for kids. Management is horrible. No respect for customers. The rudest employees ever! Got a food poisoning yesterday. I went to the hospital twice already. Never returning to this horrible place.

Great place to take the kids. The food is good, the $20 unlimited activities is good. I dont recommend the arcade if you want to earn points for prizes, Dave & Busters is surprisingly a much better value for that (they still have really bad discrepancies between cost of games and earning value of points). The food in the restaurant is really great ( though I dont recommend the pasta primavera: raw veggies and no flavor. Everything else we got was delicious, but beware there are virtually no low-cal options). Overall we will return for the bowling and activities and keep the arcade playing to Dave and Busters.

Extremely unhappy about this Place... I drove a hour just to get there. My family went to eat first the order was messed up so was the table behind us... the server didn’t even come back to my table for drinks or anything after I said something about my order which I wasn’t even being mean..my husband was playing some ticket roll claw game and it screwed him on the tickets.. mang.hannah did try to make things better but I will not go back there. It’s just not worth it ..

My reason for the 3 stars is that they give false times when asked how long the wait is. We arrived at 815 and was told the next Laser Tag opening was 830. No biggie until you walk from the payment desk to the laser tag check in which took 1 min tops and the next opening was 915 not 830. They did this to multiple people because the people 5 min later demaned money back because they were told similar time and wait was 1 hour.

Bowling was the highlight. Playing the games is very pricey. The mega candy filled ice cream sundae we had tasted freezer burnt. Service staff was great but its a difficult place to go without dropping a lot of $$.

Majority of the time we were rushed and the staff member in charge of us (Joyce) definitely hates her job and is extremely annoyed by kids. She spent most of the time visibly annoyed and yelling at the kids, who were not acting out in any way; they were simply excited 8 year olds. I understand that there is a schedule to follow, but waiting until the last second to immediately get all of the kids to laser tag and YELLING is a great way to damper the mood. She also forgot to give them their drinks until the kids were all done eating. The facility is nice and clean at least.
