Such a great range and place to practice tactics techniques and procedures. I highly recommend coming here for training. I couldn’t find the picture of the black bear that came o to the range with us but he was cool and left us alone for the most part.

I have been going here for about 16 years now. It is a place to go and recharge your batteries. Everyone is nice and friendly! The guards at the front gate are very professional and always helpful. I am Retired Military and this is my Shangri-La for me and my Military buddies. Thank you all for keeping this going for us! God Speed!

Typically open to public on weekends, $10/per person day pass for exploring/fishing Old Florida... 100k acres of undeveloped land mostly slash pine , some oak and scrub. Dirt roads, 4wd recommended. Closed for main use as military training area Mon - Fri, but schedule varies. Primitive camping and hunting available but be aware military regulations are strict. This is NOT a state park dont expect the same treatment or facilities. Hunters dominate public use Oct - Dec. Area is also logged and has cattle leases, and monitors endangered species such as gopher tortoise and scrub jay.
