Amazing place to learn some facts about our local history but there were staff that so rude.

Very interesting exhibits presenting everyday life in a small Central Florida town at various times in the past. Friendly and low-key, but skillfully put together. Free and definitely worth a visit.

Very well displayed museum of historical Avon Park

Nice depot museum. A little short on railroad artifacts. Not bad though.

This museum does an excellent job presenting the history of Avon Park

Great resource for history of Avon Park and people of AP. The train is great as well. The depot used to be a stop on the train. Both passenger and frieght trains go by every 30-45 minutes. There are usually painted rocks and geocaches at the train as well.

Really good history and we had a great lady who walked us through it and explained all.

Small museum with a friendly staff. By no means is this a huge location but to kill an hour or so inside out of the hot sun it was great.
