I took my 5 year-old granddaughter to play at ALPS--Avon Lake Play Space. There are slides, swings, parallel bars, tires, sandbox, and more. Great place for the little ones to get some fresh air and exercise. As a bonus, we ran the bases on the ball diamond and watched 4 couples play pickleball. All with a beautiful view of Lake Erie!

Very nice park

This park is absolutely amazing. Its unique and as much fun to play at now, as it was when I was kid. Its in need of some much needed repairs (weirdly the same ones needed when i was a kid). This is a great place to take high energy kids, tell them the mulch is lava and someone is it. Sadly, there are talks of changing it, which would be a great disservice to future children. Admittedly, if you have special needs children, specifically those that are physically handicapped, I would try a different park, as the narrow space and steps can make it difficult to navigate. Otherwise, absolutely fantastic place to burn of energy.

A really nice park. Its not huge, but it has some really cool stuff. Like a totally awesome water park, and a totally awesome playground, and really nice tennis courts. The locals really get some good use out of this park. The people were very nice, and were all having a good time.

This is a Very Nice Park. Swimming for Avon Residents Only. Thats not The Way it Should Be! Our Deacons are Going to Work on Getting This Overturned for Those that are of Other Citys Can Participate in The Swimming!

Had a great time watching/listening to a band, enjoying time with neighbors, and dog watching.

The kids always have a good time running around and playing at Alps. Lots of choices to play on.

Trivanovich aquatic center great for swimming. I like the lap lanes adult only section for exercise. The facilities are clean. The showers are good to clean up and dress in street clothes. The lazy river is enjoyable. The people are friendly. The rules are safety oriented

Wonderful place for young children. I took my 3 year old grandchildren and we had a lot of fun. Some of the obstacles were too difficult for them but they managed to get around. I prefer the ground covering to be that rubber material and hopefully when they update the area it will be considered. Some of the equipment is showing its age. My overall opinion is that it provided a great space for the kids to get exercise and use their imaginations!

Great place for kids and adults. Near Lake Erie, so you can walk down and enjoy the scenery. Very calming.

To nice baseball fields and other things that make a nice community park

I frequently visited this park as a child and occasionally take my nephews, now that I am an adult. I remember so many trees lining this park that it actually felt like a park by Lake Erie. Now, it just feels like an elaborate jungle gym.Please, plant more trees.

It has everything; baseball fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, pool with slides and a lazy river and a giant playground. My only concern was the playgrounds healthiness. Seems to need a little bit more love and repairs but it is still a pretty awesome place!

This playground just bakes in the sun now. When I was a kid there used to be trees to share some of it. I have no idea why they cut them all down. There were a couple broken chains within the castle as well that could cause injury to kids. If those two problems could be fixed itd be a 5 star playground again.
