Nice venue...a little grungy, bit, comfortable. Good sound/acoustics. Staff are professional and reasonable. Some great bands play here!

A small bar that hosts bands. I gave it 5 stars because I witnessed the awesomeness of Black Belt Eagle Scout there.

Bar/venue with both indoor and outdoor stages. The indoor venue space is quite large, and also quite empty. Theres a photo booth, cigarette vending machine and some colored glass windows, but generally lacks visual appeal apart from the bare wood and concrete. The outdoor venue has a smaller bar and is mostly covered, with more bench seating and vegetation which feels more inviting. They are very efficient and organized with bands.

Will miss this place. Great selection of bands and two great stages to see them.

Barracuda is amazing. The outdoor stage is too good. A bit loud so bring earplugs if you are sensitive but a great great place to see a show

I really liked how Barracuda made the most out of their space without it feeling cramped. I loved the atmosphere and all the bands that were playing!! They also had a set of vintage clothing brands which was awesomeeeeeee (I got a beautifully embroidered blouse). I will defiantly come again!

One of the best venues in town! The indoor stage isnt too tall so it makes getting close to the performing artist(s) much better than some of the other places around town. :)

Great venue, probably my favorite for shows in Austin. Two stages, one outside and one in and a bar near both.

Good sound, lots of space! They booked another band outside that was loud enough to step on the toes of the band inside, however. Kind of diminished the show. Other than that, great venue!

Cozy indoor and outdoor space for live music. The groups I have seen perform have all been indoors, so far. The smaller stage allows for an intimate setting. Great views of the bands. If you get there early you can grab a drink and chill by the wooden picnic benches in their outside space - the doors are near the right side of the stage. Sometimes they have seating indoors as well. Recently they have been offering themed drinks, in line with the groups that play. The restrooms are near the opposite end of the bar.*Parking* I usually try for the street by the 504 E. 8th St. Lot or the lot itself, normally priced at around $10 - an easy walk from here and its close to other venues like Cheer Up Charlies, Stubbs, Mohawk.

Been going here since it was Red 7. The new management is what was needed. Great shows and plenty of room to be standing around in. Also steps on the side for the shorter people to be able to see

You can feel the heat from the singers, youre so close, there isnt any stupid space. The staff are all awesome. Love watching my favorite bands here.

Absolutely outstanding venue. The staff are very kind, friendly, etc and yet maintain a sort of professionalism rarely found. They also hosted last dinosaurs so thats already an easy five stars in my opinion. Definitely worth the visit.

Loved the show ( Los West and headliner Erika Wennerstrom). Makes artist very accessible.

Its really a very Austin place, small and easy to see the band from wherever you stand. A decent amount of seats if youre like me and need to take a break from standing. This was my first visit but Ill definitely go back.

Got to see unknown hinson here and was not disappointed. Drinks were reasonable price, friendly staff, outdoor area amazing, but honestly must mention the womens bathroom!!! Huge with doors on every stall and ..... clean. Go cuda!!!!

Staff is helpful and easy to talk to. Show space is decent, they sometimes do shows outside as well when its not super hot out. Outside patio area is pretty, nice bar out there as well with some picnic tables. I will def be back, its got those fun austin vibes and I had a really good time.

Was going to play here in my high school band when it was Red 7. Never made it with them. Went to the side door Holy Mountain to see SORNE, and thats a great story. Im pleased so far with what its become and, in reflection of my actual artistic goal, its hometown. I will return again soon.

Promoters book really great alternative acts of many different music strains here, great place that you can see the bands up close with an intimate experience, sound system is good and there have been many legends in music gracing the stages here!

Show was so great I fainted. They sat me down in the lobby and gave me some water and a towel. Great staff 10/10

Well its a great place to have an outdoor show. They have good sound equipment, but there was a problem with the restrooms not clean and malfunctioning

The venue wasn’t terrible, but it was 30 degrees outside and they had no heaters for the audience or even the musicians. Lead guy kept getting interrupted because the side door leaks noise onto the stage from the band playing inside anytime it open. Even had to stop a song once because of it. May go again if there is a band I really like playing inside.

Killer venue. Indoor and outdoor stage, plus on the inside there these elevated platforms that give you an excellent view without people being in your way or vise versa.

Pretty good live music venue, however, the acoustics need some work, as all the instruments sound like they are coming from the same speaker.Pretty good drink prices and service.The outdoor area is pleasant.

Nice space and great bookings. But no draft beer.

Some of the best midweek shows come through these doors. The clubs name may change every few years, but the solid shows remain.

Scene tons of shows there, as Red 7 and as barracuda, excellent sound, plenty of room to move and sing along, and just a block away from Arlos.....word!!!!

Outside stage is amazing. Great sound, great service. Inside stage is too loud and full of echo. Make sure the band you want to see is on the outside stage.

Excellent sound on outside stage , remodel looks awesome. Getting drinks from bar outside was only reason I dont give 5 stars took 20 mins to get a beer last weekend. Other than that excellent venue.

This place really surprised me in a bad way - its way too small for a live music venue, at least for performances that require lots of stage space and many instruments sounding good together. The larger stage is outside, no roof over the crowd.The staff did their best, though, so no real complaints, just not used to venues like that.

Julia was amazing, but the sound from the band playing in the other room was a distraction to say the least.

Went to a show here with my husband and a friend. I got dehydrated and ended up fainting, the staff were all really helpful and nice. They made sure I was okay, brought me water, offered to call an ambulance for me and even made sure I was safe with the people I was with. On top of that, this was a great venue. The sound was good for the show and there were no technical issues. Everything was clean and well-run.

Although the ticket says all ages, but they try to push 18 and up. Its fine, but it was a hassle with a 17 year old and a show weve been waiting for for months.

Barracuda easily has the highest frequency of fantastic artists come through, with some of the best priced tickets in Austin. This is my favorite small venue.

I took my daughter and her friends to see Summer Salt a band they really like. The bar was easy to find. The staff were very helpful. The only thing I didnt care for was having to go around to the alley to get in to see the band. Also BEWARE of where you park. Be sure to pay for parking because they will tow you quick. $200 to get it out and I am pretty sure the tow truck damaged my car. So becareful in Austin Texas.

First time at this venue, surprisingly, as I always pass it on my way to Mohawk & Stubbs. I feel like the venue is analogous to that platonic friend who you never considered dating, but should have since they had everything you needed to be happy.

Neat little area for incredibly personal shows with bands. Im giving it 4 stars because you have to walk through a creepy piss filled alleyway to get to the back for certain shows apparently.

I miss Red 7, but these guys did a great job making it their own improving the listening space inside ten fold. Havent been to a concert outside quite yet, but the three times Ive seen an inside show have been stellar.Great service by the bar staff as well.

This place is great, I only wish their outdoor area was a little bigger in order to accommodate a few seating options. Sound quality is great and stages make it easy enough to see the bands.

Nice place but they dont have AC during the summer! Its very insulated so youll def feel it. It was very hard to enjoy the show because of it.

Absolutely horrendous bathroom situation, club was at capacity and almost no staff to keep up the bathrooms. I weep for the people who work here because it must be hell.

Good venue for music outdoor and indoor. Theres always interesting bands playing. While some of the music from next door does bleed over if the band isnt as loud its always a fun experience there.
