Great place to listen to live blues! Relevant atmosphere and good selection of beers. The house band was excellent. The acoustics are not bad. I will return to Antones next time I am in Austin

Antones is my favorite spot in Austin to see live music. Their shows are affordable, and the venue is excellent. I highly recommend this place.

Went to Austin in September 2019, with my wife. Saw Carl Weathersby at Antone’s. Great artist, at a great venue. Even chatted with some of the muso’s....very cool. We went back the next night to see a band of young guys (can’t recall the bands name).....also great. It’s a venue that lets you get up close and personal with the artist. Love it.

Ghost hounds and Dave Grissom, put on quiet a show. Entrance fee was 7 bucks, attentive bar staff, and a good selection of beverages, an Austin old school favorite, Antone’s lives on. The crowd really seemed to enjoy the show. The drinks were modestly priced, and the acoustics were above average.

Great tenders and front end personnel. Grab a excellent sandwich sub next door in the record shop to soak up that Shiner or Lonestar beer you will be drinking all night. I recommend sitting around the corner from the bathrooms. Tables along wall with another bathroom for your convenience.

We caught Emily King there recently, did the meet and greet and love the venue! Keep supporting live music and especially this Austin gem. Its conveniently located, an easy drop off/pick up via car service a d walking distance to Stella Jacs and Eddie Vs for snacks before the show. Cheers!

Bartender acted like I was crazy for asking for whisky with just a splash of soda water, no ice. Im sorry!! Thats just the way I like it!! Even so, the atmosphere is amazing. It feels incredible to be there. I saw iLe in concert and it was absolutely incredible. The sound was fantastic. Even the crowd was cool. An Austin staple, truly.

Went here for live music from Whitey Johnson and was not disappointed - the sound was incredible and price was also very reasonable. I would love to see a packed show here sometime, as this one was a little sparse. They had a gift shop in the front with memorabilia from SRV and other legends. Cool spot, would go again.

Love this store. Great prices, great records. However, one star down due to walking in and getting NO greeting from the girl sitting at the front doing nothing. People walked in after us and were warmly welcomed, though. I’ve worked in customer service for many years... it’s not hard to make your customers feel appreciated for coming into a business. Still will shop here, I just hope this feedback helps understand from a customers point of view.

We went to see the amazing guitarist Eric Gales last night and I dont know if the chosen venue could have been better. It reminded me of dancing to blues at my grandmas house with its dim lighting and painted over brick walls. Instead of album covers I almost expected to see pictures of my family on the walls. The sound was great no matter where you stood and we waited less than 5 minutes at the packed bar. Theres a schedule written in chalk at the entrance thats worth checking out. This is a great place to discover artists youve never heard.

We took the in-laws out to Antones for a little pre-Thanksgiving fun and had a wonderful time! The bar tenders were on point with drinks and of course the music was perfect. We valet parked next door for $10 (on a Wednesday evening) Luckily, we had the dance floor mostly to ourselves which made it even better. My momma in-law had THE best night out on the town and her first visit to Austin. Thank you for such a great time!

Antones Nightclub is always a must see music venue when visiting Austin, Texas. It reminds me of Bunkers in Minneapolis with a surprise visit by Prince on a Sunday night. You never knew who would show up to perform... For Antones always looking for Austins very own Gary Clark Jr. to walk through the doors.

Love it, really. Good atmosphere and, yes, we all love the history for the decades of music and legends. But really, get some chairs and a good beer selection. I honestly get hammered at Russia House next door before I set foot inside. Regardless, the people in charge of booking talent are geniuses. I saw a brilliant kid wailing on guitar before Bob Schneider, the Bluebonnets, and every other type of Texan rock there.

I have been to three different antones over the years in Austin. This one is by far the smallest, but that isnt necessarily bad. Smaller venues allow for more intimate shows. I have seen a few bands play here and like it. If there was a complaint, it would be that air circulation is not great. But its not awful. Any large crowd of people watching music typically gets a little warm. You should plan to stand at the show, there is very little seating. Hasnt been an issue for me, but if thats a concern keep it in mind.

(Lindsay Beaver w/ Brad Stivers & Josh Williams) They play here on Tuesdays when they are not traveling. Good live music. Was told it was the house band. Less than 2 songs in we were approached by some older gentleman who wouldn’t leave us alone about a tip even after we politely said we just got there and weren’t ready yet. Before we walked in, we gave a homeless man all the cash we had and needed a moment to think through the situation that had just happened. We’ve definitely supported Austin in all aspects during our vacation and didn’t expect to or appreciate being pressured in that way. Too many other great places in Austin for live music :)

Didnt actually get to experience a show. For months I have waited patiently to see my favorite artist Alex Lahey perform. I was met with disappointment when the venue kicked us out. The bouncer thought my friend was trying to pass a fake ID who by the way just turned 21 the seventh. Very upset to say the least. For the record, both mine and my friends IDS are not only real but %100 legal. Also on a side note, we walked into at least seven different bars just to prove a point.

Asked a cabbie what bar was the place to go for the Blues in Austin. Told me Antone’s was were to go! Finished a awesome dinner then headed over. Got there and the band playing wasn’t playing the blues. Asked are they the band? We were told no. Another band was on next. So we paid the $17 each cover charge only to find out the next band was not the Blues. Asked if we could get cover back we were refused. Fair enough I guess. Paid for a round of drinks & friend put his drink down on the bar to go for a smoke. While my back was turned the bartender took his drink away. When we took it up with Mark at the door he became belligerent and threatened to call the cops. Worst customer service I’ve ever seen!!

Nice space for music, but sold out show for Samantha Fish got very crowded. Since its SRO mainly might be a little tough for some folks to deal with as it was very stuffy with not a lot of air circulation up near the stage. Made it fairly uncomfortable, even for February. But Samantha and a very young, dynamic band really brought it!!! Do Valet parking right next store at Eddy Vs. $10 -- you cant beat it.

Maybe the biggest name in local live music in Austin. I realize this is highly debateable and subjective. Has changed locations several times. Sound system is the subject of a lot of debate with my friends. Right next to the sound booth is great, along the right wall (while facing the stage) is also great. Everywhere else is still good, just not great. One2One has spoiled me with the badass sound system or maybe its the sound guy, whatever, not a spot in One2One that doesnt sound awesome.Go to Antones.
