I guess Ill start by saying The Island is one of the big reasons we decided to buy our home in the neighborhood - its that big of a part of our lives. The only indoor beach volleyball facility in Denver I know of. But its more than that, its a bar and restaurant and a great hang out spot in the Summer. I play here all the time and know all of the staff - when you play a lot you feel like family. The staff all knows you by name after a while and being here feels good. This is a place where memories are made for life, where you can challenge yourself and make new friends. Its a melting pot for people from all walks of life, getting together to have fun and compete playing a sport they love. Its a beautiful place and I hope it exists forever.

Such a cool idea! A bar in the middle of sand volleyball courts! I wasn’t able to try out the food or drinks but it looked good. Sitting on a beach chair with your shoes off watching a volleyball game really makes you want to play. It is awesome they have coed games and all your volleyball playing needs.

First time here for a beach volleyball tournament. Place is really nice, especially if you are lucky to play in the inside courts. It is a very big place, and they keep social distancing pretty well.If you play outside and it is more than 80 degrees and sunny, it will be tough!

Love playing at the Island!!! Have played there for years, and my daughter has played in youth tournaments there...we love it! Beautiful place, awesome courts, fun atmosphere...just a great place to hang out with friends/family & enjoy playing some volleyball!!

This place was awesome! We came for a bachelor party with a group of ten on Monday morning and they pretty much just opened the place for us. Wed definitely go back!!

Super fun place to go and play some volleyball or get some drinks and hangout with friends. Prior to Covid me and my group would go here once a week. Its affordable and fun. Overall a great time.

Awesome venue for any kind of Party! So many different activity options! Did our Holiday party here and everyone wants to go back again. Amber was awesome to work with!

Love this place! I’ve loved all the food minus the fish tacos but I think that was more me than the tacos. Great place to get some sand volleyball in and an excellent friendly staff! Always a good time at the island and is affordable if you want to rent out for a large group or party!

This place is so much fun. This works for all ages. The youngsters loved it and the adults could have their beer. A fun place with indoor and outdoor vollyball. The service there was also super nice.

My daughter plays on a league. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the bar! They just need some better views/seating for far courts.

Chicken nachos are to die for and HUGE, also playing sand volleyball is great. Fun place to watch really good people play too.

Went there for a company get together and it was fun with the volleyball. Food was good. A great idea for a fun time.

Great for pickup games and good practice. Different types of volleyballs spread throughout the 6 indoor courts, and a bar to help get the juices flowing! Perfect for cold days and evenings, they close at a reasonable hour. A little hidden behind a restaurant but so worth the late night get together! Will definitely be back!

Inconsistent closing times based on bar tenders mood. Annoying to pay to get in and then they close whenever they feel like it.

This place rocks! Are you kidding me?! Where else can you go for badass volleyball, a killer time, and summer in the heat of winter..

We take our day-camp to the island 4-5 times a year and the kids LOVE it. The island puts out shovels, buckets, volleyballs and other toys and our kids run around for 4 hours! I have never been to play volleyball, but based off my experience I wouldnt hesitate in recommending someone to go!

Kiddo goes here with her day camp and talks about how much she LOVES this place! Table tennis, beach volleyball, good food and a bar for the adults! I have only been in to check it out when I go pick her up but I even like the layout and the vibe I get while in there. I cant wait til I can get a group of friends and go hangout and enjoy ourselves!

So many fun games to play! Corn hole, giant Jenga, sand volleyball (of course), ladder ball. Went to a Christmas/Holiday party here. Food was amazing! Very nice bartenders. Would definitely recommend for events/birthday parties!

Held a staff retreat here during the day. It was a great place for a work presentation, lunch, and then some pickup sand volleyball. Courts were great and the staff and lunch were exceptional.

Too crowded, too dark, in backwater location. Try to serve too many people at once in an assembly line fashion.

I was there for a Big Brother and Big Sisters event. From what I seen it was spectacular. Employees were friendly. Looked like something I would like too do. The volleyball courts were great. Looked liked a authentic beach including the Bar.

What a fun beach volleyball venue! Our daughter played in a U14 princess tournament. 6 courts with an eating area (no outside food or drinks). We dont care for the junk food menu and would prefer to bring our own healthy alternatives, but the sand was great and the tournament was very well run.

Beach volleyball in Denver, of course it was great. I came here for a company event and we had an awesome time.The whole place was beach/ island themed. We got snack food that was simple, but delicious and the staff kept us stocked up. Will definitely be taking my friends back to this place.

While traveling, I have always sought out a volleyball pick-up game to establish a new start in a new city. Im no professional but I can play. The Island is an incredible facility with impeccable courts. However, the people who play there seem to think they are all professionals and refuse to accept anyone until theyve been playing for months. The level of play is great but people seem to think theyre the only ones to ever play volleyball. If youre in the cool kids group youre great, but youll just have to wait a year to be accepted into the that group. In their minds, they are on the pro...but just located in the mtns. Beware...

My daughters have been playing club volleyball for a combined 7 years. Never knew this place existed. Absolutely insane and a great way to cross train in between seasons.

Great place. Bar tending could be better....but dont go to this venue for a bar experience? Though love that you can grab a drink or cheap, good food afterwards.

Love playing volleyball here.. 8 sand courts, 6 indoor, 4 outdoor. Tons of leagues, and drop in every night. Good food and a great bar to have drinks as well

The Island is a fantastic place for volleyball and a good time. The whole place makes you feel laid back and relaxed. If youre not there for the volleyball, the bar is great as well.

Kris is an excellent instructor! My 12 year old daughter has learned a ton in just a few lessons at the Oasis location. Thanks Kris!

This place is like an adult playground. We love coming here.

The referees show preferential treatment toward people they know. We still won our matches, but the overall experience was poor. Also, the prevalence of bad-mouthed players was way too high for playing to be enjoyable.

I play in a weekly volleyball league here & love it. Staff is very friendly & its great to have 8 sand volleyball courts, big screen TVs, a full bar & good food all in 1 spot!

Awful experience at this place. They may cater to adults, but they seem very put off by children. The staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. I was excited to go originally, but after my experience I will never be going back.
