We arrived on a raincheck to finish nine holes and they would not allow us to rent a cart and had no option for a walking cart. So my 75 year old friend had to walk with his 50lb bag. Meanwhile, there were always carts just sitting there.... Wont go back on principle.

Great course, fun day, but the ranger on the front side was rude and out of line. If hes had a problem he could have used much less attitude. We using the course intended as ask the course edicate they need to have a talk to there staff.

Absolutely horrible. Came here and purchased a cart and 18 and was about to tee off with my group when the golf shop clerk came out to the #1 tee box to tell me my girlfriend couldnt ride with me on my cart....then I tried to take my beer back I purchased for her and I for the round and they denied the return their merchandise. Dont patronize this place!!!!!!!

I live in the apartments by the golf course & have tried calling them multiple times today about emptying their trashcans. When I tried to call to complain the automated service just keeps prompting me with the same options & never actually connects me to anyone despite trying every option available. The one by my patio has been OVERFLOWING since yesterday. No one emptied it last night or this morning. Now their is trash being blown all over the grassy area by my patio. Disgusting! Not even kidding a golfer even made a comment about how full the trashcan is.

$20 per rider is absolutely asinine. I could understand that price if the greens were nicer than foothill golf course. But alas, they are much worse. One star because I cant give zero.

Normally I dont put much stock in reviews, but this place truly is as rude as the other comments. I get that you are sending out golfers as tight as possible but customer service still matters. It was so bad here we took our business to another course. Being made to feel stupid and inferior is bad practice. I may not be an expert golfer but I should still feel welcome.

Great course. But the marshal really presses you to speed up, and it was bothering our group.We wanted to enjoy our game and we were right on time with their emphasized goal of 4 hour for 18 holes. Yet we were pressed constantly as the marshal watched us play and making us uncomfortable.It is not our fault that our group was a 4 some and behind us we had 2 groups of 3 some on our tail. I paid for my damn golf game, let me play in peace as long as I on schedule!

These people pack the course so full, not to mention it’s a small course anyways. We were so backed up I had a select few behind me yelling at me throughout the course. Even though we were just waiting behind another group. Also the guy running the pro shop is one of the rudest I have met.

Pretty congested, but well maintained and clearly marked, with some tricky hazards. Fun to play and good for the price.

Heather Ridge Golf is now charging Seniors $45 per round with cart. This is a ridiculous fee for this small course. If I’m going to pay that much, I’m going to play a real golf course. Certainly hope this gets out to senior golfers.

This golf course is by far the best all around golf course in The Metro Denver area. The best staff. They have a great golf course and well maintained. Cant say enough about the place.

Enjoyed the course. Definitely didnt use the driver much. Fairways are pretty narrow and greens are well kept. Looks like they recently redid the cart paths too. Marshall told us to speed up when we were definitely were not moving slow at all (right behind the group in front). If the staff was better it wouldve been 4 stars.

Narrow course surrounded by houses and people waking their dogs. The people in the pro shop were rude and unhelpful. Don’t play here unless you’re desperate to get out of the house.

Fun course, straight forward. Decently kept, upgrades are coming to multiple tee boxes. For the price its an excellent course, lots of fun to play. If you like to play your driver a lot, however, this course will leave a bit to be desired. A couple par fives and a few par fours that you can get the big stick out for, otherwise a lot of distance control and strategy tee shots. I will play here again, most definitely!

Good course..great staff

A course that measures only 5600 yards from the tips should not take 5 hours to play. The only marshall I saw was more concerned with telling people to not drive close to greens than keeping pace of play, even when there are multiple groups more than a hole behind. Also the cart girl was driving around honking her horn to get peoples attention... WOW.Really like the course - good variety on the holes... But I would take your money elsewhere. All of the Aurora municipal facilities in the area are just as good and dont have near the same problems with pace of play.

This is a decent golf course, however, if you are a highly skilled player I would suggest leaving your driver, and woods in the car because it is quite short. The challenge is better if you aren’t 50 yards away on your approach for all the par 4s.

Great course! Nice people in the pro shop

We have played here before but our experience this past time will be our last. The Marshall here harassed us the entire round constantly driving past us and told us twice to speed up our pace of play. Through the whole round we were behind the group in front and the group that started behind us were at least two holes behind maybe three. Try playing a round while the Marshall constantly parks and watches your group for no apparent reason while you feel rushed to get each hole done. Don’t waste your time.

Previous reviews mention the Marshall. Guess what our problem was?We had a foursome this morning and were enjoying our day... until the Marshall came through. He said he was telling everyone to stay with the group in front of them because it was a full roster. Ok, well, we were about 2 minutes behind them. The Marshall came through later to tell us to speed up. We were on a four hour pace, which is what is posted in their cart as the pace goal. We finished 18 holes in 4 hours, 3 minutes. Didnt stop the Marshall from giving us the stink eye for most of the course. He would stop and stare at every group, not just ours. We went across the street to Legends instead of getting lunch at the course because we were put off by the Marshall. With all the options in the metro area, we wont be back.

Clean course. It is a tight course because of the very close proximity to the townhouses. Some residents of said townhomes walk the course. Some people also walk their dogs. I dont care. We just took our time. That is what a relaxing game is all about, right? (If you are a golf snob, you probably wont have a good time. just saying.) I would Definitely recommend and I will play here again. Beautiful Aurora Golf Course.

Nice layout and quality for the price

We had a 320 tee time should be more than enough time to play 18 before sundown at 730. We are on pace at hole 16. As I hit my tee shot the Warden pulled up and condescendingly tells us that carts are due back in by 6. Pick up your ball and head to the clubhouse. No one told us when we payed our cart fee that we would be forced to return to the club house an hour and a half before sundown. Thank you Heather Ridge for screwing me out if 4 holes and leaving me short of a valid scorecard. What ever happened to customer service. Why would carts be required back so soon. Golf is an expensive sport and I expect a certain level of service in return for my hard earned money. Heather Ridge fell short of the mark and that is very disappointing considering how fun of a course it is. Unfortunately no matter how fun your course is if you treat people the wrong way it is all for nothing. I will give credit where credit is due. The course is very fun and the greens are challenging. Ive had a lot of fun playing it in the past. However until management decides take care of the customer and do things the right way I will not be back.

This is a short course that used to be a country club. The narrowness of the course stands out. Unless you go short on drives or hit very straight, you probably need to play non driver on half the par 4/5s. The fairways have houses nearby. Theres water on a decent number of holes. Leaves in the fall camouflage golfballs. The greens are fairly fast. The staff is very friendly.

This course is a hidden treasure, course knowledge is key here so ask questions and be prepared for some of the best greens in town. I found a great deal on the weekend for $25 18-riding! Well worth the trip.

Par for the course!!! Bahahaha. But seriously the course is fine. On the shorter side, as are most dick phelps courses Ive played. Probably the cheapest regulation course in the state. A value to say the least, and probably some of the more challenging greens in the metro area for such a small place. #s 5,6 and 7 are pretty fun with some very high risk/reward. If you people are storming off from the staff, i suggest you stop playing golf or get the stick out your ass.

If there was a way to put zero stars, I would put zero. My brother was treated horribly by the staff here. If you are looking for a nice venue to golf, with accommodating and helpful staff, this is not the place for you.

Jason in the pro shop is very rude and unprofessional. I was trying to get some basic info/pricing. His phone etiquette is horrible. Coming from out of state we wanted to try this course, it was near our hotel, but now we will definitely be taking our business elsewhere. After reading other reviews looks like this is “par for the course”

The course itself isnt terrible but overall, this may be the worst golf experience Ive ever had.The design is pretty straightforward which is fine and the greens actually play pretty difficult which is nice for such a shorter course. You can see at one point that this course (when it was private and about 20 years ago) was probably a great round of golf, but has gone downhill quickly.The cart paths are nice on about 2 holes; the rest are basically destroyed with about 5 holes being basically a drainage ditch. The yardage markers on almost every hole are completely incorrect. The scorecard says one thing, the sign at the tee box says another, the sprinklers with yardage markers are completely back asswards, and on one hole there is a sign that says, 172 yards to the front right of the water, 192 yards to carry the water in the middle. so both my brother and I hit driver to go directly into the water straight down the middle as the water is ACTUALLY playing about 270 yards to the front and 315 yards to carry from the tee box. Come on man!The worst part of the experience was about a dozen different people just walking around the golf course. My brother and I, by no means, are sticklers when it comes to golf but I have never seen that in my life. Pedestrians just wandering through the fairways, standing by greens, cutting across greens while you are on the hole, and people taking their dogs to the bathroom on the course (no exaggeration at all).To top it all off, after the round we find out that there was a shooting with about 6 gunshots fired by the 7th hole. Not a great neighborhood anymore unfortunately.The one positive was the staff. We only spoke to two people but they were both very nice which makes for, usually, a good experience.Sorry Heather Ridge but things need to change quickly.

I really like this course but the marshalls are really rude and pushy. They treated my group like we were beneath them and their course. Ill likely never go back because Id probably drop the guy if I ever saw him again. Not worth dealing with the false sense of power those jackasses think their entitled to!

An inexpensive option for a big group scramble. Theres one or two holes of interest, but fairly average for most of the round. Course conditions were probably below average.

L for a golf club Heather Ridge seemed a little run-down not kept up the way it should be carpet I think needs replacing painting on the walls I was there to dance where was Dirty and sticky needs to be clean otherwise its an okay place.

Worst golf course experience I have ever had. Staff knows nothing about golf, drink cart is nonexistent, and the Marshall will harass every group until there are 4 people on the green, 4 in the fairway, 4 at the teebox, and 8 waiting to play. If you havent mastered the 1 1/2 hour 18 hole game, dont bother.We finished well under 3 1/2 hours.
