The rooftop restaurant is very quaint and features top-notch steaks. And yes, people younger than 21 can dine here. If youre looking for a place to just experience a fanciful vibe and eat some excellent food, this is it.

Smaller casino. I didnt lose to much. I was hitting sum bonuses, the payout was ok. Their not open 24 hrs. They do not serve alcohol rn either i guess because of covid.

Your typical casino in an area that is trying to get itself out of the dumps. The surrounding area has rough areas but does have a desirable location considering the Metra station and the river are right there. The casino itself was vanilla. Slots are playing a little tight. The tables were average. Go in, bet, and just enjoy yourself.

I recently came here with my friends who were visiting from Kentucky. I didn’t gamble but my friends did and they won some money. I’m not into gambling so my only criticism is that it was kind of dim in there. I wish the lights were brighter.

I visited the casino this week and was disappointed by the poor effort to keep the facility germ free. There was no temperature taken as was done at the Rivers casino, I saw only a wipe table at each entrance and no where else. I would suggest that there should be wipes at the entrance of every aisle along with bowls of sanitary packets as I found at the Rivers and GVC. I did see employees wiping down many of the machines and chairs but no one ever came to the area that I was in for almost an hour. I make this comment to encourage a review and change to the effort to keep the gamblers as safe as possible.

I parked on the street in front of the casino so I could feel safer going to my vehicle. But as I was leaving I was followed to my car thankfully other people are coming down the street. I dont think Ill be coming back here its not safe I dont feel safe.

First time in casino since lockdown. Was very surprised how well organized everything was. Every other machine no tables no valet. Someone is always watching that the mask is on properly.

Casino is old time but nice. Slot machines are too tight for me. Lost 400 and was there an hour. Have been at their steakhouse and it is one of the best around food is delicious. I was there couple times since they opened back up from the lockdown and the whole time I was there I never saw anyone cleaning or wiping the machine down after a person played the machine, I didnt see any hand sanitizer or wipe anywhere in the casino, I had to used my wipe or hand sanitizer to clean the machine or I had to asked the cashier for hand sanitizer, and before you get in the casino the security guard they dont do anything but to asked you to lowered youre mask down for the camera. The casino are not fallowing the CDC guidelines thats my opinion and I dont feel safe going in there so I dont think Ill be going back there any time soon

I like to visit this casino on occasion. The employees that work here tend to be friendly. Acceptable variety of games. The interior is a bit drab and in my opinion they would benefit from more food and drink options on the gaming floor itself as well as more non-gaming seating areas.

Well it was not bad all slot machines the give us very little money it doesnt matter if the bet was $2.50 for every single shot they give to us $45 to $50 not in all if them but that is ok is better that what nothing maybe we comeback in other day when the luck is better and the money is qetting better and hollywood casino give to us money to free play.

Visited on a Sunday evening and had concerns. Summoned the on-site manager and things got worse. This casino is not recommended, primarily due to unprofessional manager on the casino floor.

STEALING IS GOING THERE. someone took my jacket within 30 mins. security wouldnt do anything about it. Old & outdated casino. spiders everywhere INSIDE Casino. not attractive as an entertainment place should be.

Enjoyable! Ate at their buffet for the first time in YEARS! It was acceptable. Lots of choices and I enjoyed almost everything on my plate. Gaming is fun. Plenty of penny slots! Love their Bloody Marys!

We went there tonight to see 7th Heaven play in the casino itself. As always they were really good. The crowd in the casino was light due to the heavy rain event this evening. The casino employees are always great!

I change my review on this place. I didnt realize part of the hiring process was getting interrogated by a federal agent. I cried. I felt very uncomfortable and very attacked. I felt belittled in every way possible. During that hiring process I didnt even feel like I was treated as a human being. It really made me lose respect for this establishment. I have never been put through anything like that...I felt like I got arrested or I was in trouble. I just started crying when the federal agent was harping questions at me. Do no support this place.

Bar service was terrible! Concerns addressed to a manager and manager brushed my concern to “speaking to bartender”! With the slots already tight as ever, this will be my last visit to Hollywood Casino Aurora

Went there and its ok since reopening. My issues are the people using drinks as they walk past others so they can keep their mask off and people taking chairs to sit close to others. I seen workers walk past, not saying anything.

We had a great time here. Over 20 of us playing all table games and slots. Table minimums were high but they were all packed. Aurora is up and coming. Could be a good time to invest I. The downtown area.

Had a great time with my daughters 1 of them played for the 1st time and hit a $200 Jack pot.

Yeah normally try play dice at poto grand victoria or rivers they dice tables way to much so i drive to aurora to play also no luck at those 3 places i normally have fun and win. At Hollywood aurora also they let me play

Lots of machines and variety . Buffet is great and so is the carry out meals. Fast service and clean areas to eat. I use a wheelchair and the aisles are wide enough to get through. Lets not forget about the bar and live music on Fridays!

It was fun for a little date night with the hubby!

We stopped in to see the band, Libido Funk Circus. The band played in the middle of the casino and there was a small dance floor. The sound was very good. There was a single line at the bar to get drinks and it moved relatively fast. The drink prices were very reasonable. They have a Two Brothers sign at the bar which led me to believe there would be a few selections, but there was only one.

Atmosphere is good and pit crew are very nice. Only downside are the prices of the tables. They tend to drive the table prices up quickly, which is good for the people who are able to afford it, but bad for people looking for low $5 - $10 tables. Also the craps tables get crowded very fast, so expect not to shoot as often as Rivers.

Not much options on roulette. Put more virtual machines in please.

Not enough servers. A Friday night and the main door on the west side was not open for people to park. If you have a disability, this place is not very friendly. More bouncers and management staff watching you give your money away than servers coming to see if you wanted a refreshment. Spent $1000.00 and had to go to the bar to get drinks. Go someplace else any give your money away.

Loved the bright atmosphere and everyone was having a good time, BUT THE LINES FOR CASHING IN TICKETS WERE VERY LONG AND DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH TICKET CASHING KIOSKS

I had a pull tab for Saturday and only won $5 but Kitty and Ariella at center stage were so nice and convinced me to stick around and play it and I ended up winning $400! This casino is one of my favorites and I always love talking to security agents and the girls upstairs on the third floor!

Its been so long since Ive had an enjoyable moment at the casino. I understand its all a gamble but the machines they have are so tight its ridiculous!! I will prefer to drive to Joliet than to give them anymore of my money.

I meet with friends this restaurant quite often! This is my favorite restaurant to have a bite. I go to this spot many times. The meals are great, the staff is courteous and the rates are affordable. I like eating in this restaurant for a nice dinner.

Popular slot games have been removed. Was told roulette was raised from$5 to $15 minimum all the time, then told no, its $5minimum except when busy, then$15. No one can get their story straight. Slot machines with broken buttons not fixed for months. They know the button springs wear out quickly but they dont keep a supply on hand?

I never played here, but maybe in the future Ill try because the people I usually go here with seem to do well. The staff are stalkerish though so, when you come in , move quickly. Only particular types are harassed though.

Attended a 25th anniversary celebration at the Meyer Ballroom that is attached to the Hollywood Casino. Ceremony took place in a busy foyer area that worked out but wasnt the greatest place. However the dinner was next door over looking the river and was a great atmosphere. 100 people attended which was about the max the space could hold without feeling crowded. The apps and dinner food was good but not spectacular. I gave it a 4 for overall quality of the service.

The worst casino in the area. I have been here several times because it is close to home. Tonight was the last straw, Ill never come back again. I had a dealer whos name was Alexander and he was the rudest dealer I have ever had. Im not sure how a casino could actually hire someone so rude to be a dealer. Ill drive an hour away to go to Harris now.

Been going since it came to Aurora. Its pleasant for the atmosphere. The food is amazing. I even been to the steak restaurant. I can easily give HC five out of 5 stars!!!

Not happy at all with your rewards program! My wife dont get anything in the mail anymore. I still get something every month. We are both senior citizens and cant afford to come out a lot! And thats what you go by for your rewards program. We have been treated better by other casinos so WE will patronize them! We called yesterday about this matter and the person we talked to was very rude! Didnt real care about what we were saying! Management wont even respond to your issues! Just terrible!

High minimum roulette. valet had me wait 20 minutes before giving me the keys to my car because they said they had seen me and my two friends drinking on camera....well my friends did have drinks, I ordered a water I never got and didnt have anything to drink and you should check the cameras. Not a good night lost money here! Small casino nothing spectacular about this casino! One good thing there is NO SMOKING in the casino who wants to smell like an ashtray when they leave. The buffet looks small the food looks cold and stale, its not well lit in food area area. Not a real gambler just was doing something off the whim.

Nice assortment of machines. They also have refreshment bars where you can get your own drinks (non-alcoholic). Which is great! Especially since I had a hard time finding someone to get me a drink. Nice snack bar with food that is both good and reasonably priced.

Went today and watched a lady win jackpot after jackpot! Everytime she won they would bring over the money and she would start again and might I add playing 30 or 40 dollars a pop.I know if I would win I would be so excited I would scream jump and down but nothing from this lady or the crew delivering them money.Think this is a nice set-up.I believe we are being scammed .Hope others realize this. You got me for the time.

The machine that cashes out your ticket, didnt give me my change. It was only .09 cents but Casinos take enough already, they dont need to nickle & dime us on the way out. Why is the parking lot so far away? Your forced to use valet and of course theyre overwhelmed so you have to wait awhile. Although, the burger I had was Excellent!

Black jack dealer won around 10 hands in a row. Lost like $600 in a matter of 5 minutes. Waited around for my friends and played slots - lost $50 more. Finally decided to leave and then get stuck in the parking garage for the last hour. This is a fire hazard. TLDR - Lost money but most importantly a lot of time being stuck in their parking garage

Good was terrible for the moneyOvercooked beef, vegetables, flavorless. Salad was best thing there. Gambling was not paying out even small amounts.

I guess its been awhile since Ive been to a casino. They dont have a person that will let you take out money and get tokens anymore. Its all ATMs with heafty fees so bring cash. I learned that the tables take cash but wont take the credits given in the slot machines. I had to cash out to play again. The person at the roulette table was very friendly with letting me learn the rules. It was my first time playing at a real casino so it was fun. Beware that of you look under 35 they will card you and it might take a minute to get your hand stamped. I got a little flack from the rest of my party for holding them up a bit. At least I had my ID ready.

I Finally Won!!! After 3 or 4 years.

The casino itself look good. Ive been to much, much worse and in bigger cities. So, yeah, even though once you get past the entrance its not too special... it could look worse. Also, they have free parking across the street. Boo ya! For me free parking is like an instant +1 star because it makes things easier and keeps money in your pocket for what you came here to do. If you are coming from the city, then it is very close and easy to get to from the Aurora Metra station.

Had a wonderful time tonight. The two women running the promotion, Ariel and Jordan, were quite helpful and very professional. Incredibly pleasant. Security was also rather pleasant. Will definitely recommend.

Appears to be a dying casino. The decor appears dated/dinghy. The quality of food at their buffet has significantly decreased along with help/attentive staff. The steakhouse is still good but will not have the overpriced buffet ever again. At $40-$60 per person, one would be better off going to Fogo de Chao or Texas de Brazil

Best comps on the planet, gaming is adequate and the staff are exceptionally friendly and courteous.
