On June 30, 2015 around 2 PM I arrived at the park with my 2 small children having never been there before. We were having a pretty good time until the rain started around 4. Unlike most people, we decided to stick it out and wait for the rain to stop. During this time, we sat outside the food stand and ordered quite a: bit of food and drinks to pass the time. At 5:15 PM, the rain stopped. We were then told the rides would re-open at 5:30. At 5:30 we rode a few slides and were then told at 6PM that we needed to leave the park because they were closing. Several employees and management told us they were closing due to too few customers in the park. Park services said they do not offer refunds or rain-checks but I could fill out a comment card. I decided to fill it out and was told that someone would call within the next couple of days. Nobody ever did. I dont understand why my kids should suffer due to their lack of customers. We paid and ate their food. I also understand why they dont want to operate the park when they arent making any more money, but the least they can do is offer the very few of us still there tickets to come back again.

Wildwater Kingdom is gone but not forgotten.

I have been to quite a few water parks in my life. It was amazing clean. The water was crystal clear and super clean. Some of the ride lines were long but that is how theme parks work. The kids area was great. There was only a few exits out limiting the kids to a certain piont. I was impressed and will be returning.

It was the best adventure I had ever had. I am still mad from this day that cedar fair ruined all of it. It was so close to home. And I been through the history from day one to closing all of it down. Great history. I miss all of it.

Does anyone know if anything is still standing here or next door at the old geauga lake or if somebody owns it now?

I thought it was a great park. Very clean and maintained. The lines were not long. The water slides were awesome. Especially the Liquid Lightening. We do have season passes to Cedar Point so we didnt have to pay to get in. It does seem a bit pricey for a family.

Amazing Im going to miss this place with all my heart! The best wave-pool Ive ever been in and the most beautiful lazy river! The slides are thrilling and the workers are nice and friendly Ive actually made friends with some of them WildWaterKingdom is my home

I loved this watermark! I am absolutely crushed that they decided to close it! Yes, they didnt have anything new in a while, but I still liked to go there and re-live my child hood memories from Sea World/Six Flags. So very SAD!

Definitely will miss this place...that last piece of Geauga Lake (the amusement park was a great part of my childhood). Not only did it create an interest in wanting to be a part of the amusement park and water park industries as a career (and what I graduated college for), but it gave me a summer job opportunity. Overall was a nice atmosphere!

Last time I went It was AWESOME!!!! When I went on one of the slides it was so bumpy and fun! great for kids 5 to 16 but usually adults have quite fun too ! Also I just searched this and figured out that when the one by me opened.. It was my birthday!!!!!

My family and I have visited this park during 3 prior visits to Ohio. We have loved it. So we planned on visiting again this last visit. When I purchased tickets this past visit, I didnt realize that it would be closed during the week, as the area had gone back to school. We called and asked if we could have refund, which we doubted, but they did!!!! I am so appreciative of their kind, generous manner. We will definitely plan better next visit so we can go to the park!!! THANKS Wildwater Kingdom.

This place is great. Lots of attractions and rides for kids of all ages. Show up early if you want to get a good seat...it gets crowded. Weve purchased the season pass the last 2 years. Its awesome that season pass holders get in 30 minutes before non season pass tickets. The rides and pools arent open 30 minutes early, but you can make sure you get great chairs.

The workers were all helpful! However, Ridiculously expensive for everything! Locker rental was $10, $15, & $20! Water was $4.00! Double rider tubes had to be rented.$8We have kids that are below 48 and above 48 so they couldnt ride the same rides even with a parent. Also, they only allow you to go out of the park once, why???I purchased tickets online to save some money and then they charge you a $9.99 processing fee, Really! Verry disappointed, wont be back! There are other parks that do a better job for less $.

Love this park ..better then soak city...also I miss geauga lake amusement park where. It turned into six flags it was way better then cedar point ..wish someone would rebuild a new park there again

This part is the most famous awesome park ever you and your family should go out every single week thats how fun it is!!!!!!! you can play around you can get lazy in the lazy river just have fun with you and your family dont get hurt this place is super safe. its like a paradise just have fun with you and your family.!!!!!!!!

Google is wrong! Wildwater Kingdom is always open on Saturdays and Sundays during the summer!! Its our favorite weekend activity! Currently, sitting in the parking lot waiting for the park to open!

Awesome Waterpark! we went for 7 hours on a friday with some lines short. the employees were super nice and always had an answer to your question. the slides were Thrilling and Extreme. Recommend going

Greatest place on earth. Been going there since i was a couple months old. So 18 years. And my granparents who i go with have been going there for 30 years.

Cheap, got a lot of discounts. Went on a hot day, water was kind of too warm and uncomfortable. very crouded. The food was expensive. I was almost over charged by the employee who didnt know what they were doing. The order was supposed to be $30, but I was almost charged $50.

We had our baseball banquet here and it was great. Great customer service from the staff!

The water in the lazy river and wave pool is warm, which was a great surprise. There are only two rides that use tubes (we dont ride body slides), so not too much to do unless you have small children for the play areas.

This is a great place to take the kids and still relax even with them being around water. Prices for food is astronomical though

Had a good time there with my kids but the prices ?! Geeze ! Seriously pack your own food and snacks ! We paid 30$ for just dipping dots. A family meal pizza with 3 drinks was 49.99 (rip off) and they make you pay for everything now. 5$ for an inner tube rental ? They used to be free when it was Geauga Lake. But the kids had a good time thats all that mattered. The lazy river probably was the best part.

I was there on labor day And I used my debit card in the vending pop machine and it charged me when I Could not get any pop out of the machine. WHO could get ahold of me its I would Appreciate it very much

We went to this waterpark 5 times before as our kids like this place. Our recent trip was very disappointing. First someone stole my sons new Nike tennis shoes. We can not understand why people would steal the stinky kids shoes! We asked for security camera footage for 5 pm outside of change room, they told us their security camera does not record. So this means they really do not have any measure to stop thiefs. My son had to walk home on barefoot. I wish the thief get the worst ever athlete foot and warts for stealing a little kid shoes!Also I noticed the water in the whirlpool area is filthy, water mixed with urine smell is pretty bad. I even saw a kid peed right in front of me... Ewwww. For the price they charge, the total experience is Very poor. This will be the last visit for us!!

Omg next summer definitely go here I went here this summer with my mom dad pap and my dads cousin and it was awesome.The lazy river was so fun and you can just sit on a inner tube and in joy it and the tidle wave bay was awesome so many big waves and there is the big water slide thing and its also awesome everything about wild water kingdom is awesome I loved that I could see parts of the old geauga lake and sea world I loved it so yeah go there this summer its AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
