Paul provided such incredible service! He was knowledgeable about the wine and so friendly. We visited multiple wineries today and the experience at Lone Buffalo was by far the superior experience. We were personally seated (not sent to find our own seats in a crowd of drunk people), and served each wine individually with a personal description for each wine (rather than as a flight with a paper to guide us through). We went out to have a normal experience and that is exactly what we got at Lone Buffalo! Thank you for helping us thoroughly enjoy our Saturday!

The outdoor seating is lovely. They had misters going to combat the heat. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. All of their wines are dry, but they do have a tawny port. Their rose sangiovese is my favorite. Oh, and check the website, there is a food truck schedule.

Super cute and fun vineyard! Loved the Buffalo Rose. The staff and wine maker are very friendly! We learned a lot about their wines and different varietals. They also have a ton of cute merchandise and swag available for sale!

Wonderful family run winery in a stunning country setting. They put so much heart into their wines. If you are lucky enough to have the husband or wife lead you through your tasting, youre in for a real treat. They are thoughtful in naming their wines, with a story behind each one. All of their wines are delicious, but finishing off with their Pawnee Tawny Port is a real treat - it is slightly sweet with delightful caramel and nutty/smokey flavors. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a glass in their wonderful outdoor area overlooking the Tempranillo vines.

What an absolutely wonderful experience!As soon as we arrived we were warmly greated and shown to a table outside, which with the help of the misters and plenty of shade was quite comfortable, even in the 98 degree heat.Paul kindly explained the offerings, and we decided to partake in full flights, giving us the chance to taste everything there was to sample. The service given far exceeded my expectations!I dont pretend to have a very refined palate, but I can say, if youre a fan of cherry notes, you will not be disappointed. The port also left me with the flavor of cashew brittle, a happy surprise!

Wonderful service, great wines! We had the flight with 3 wines and also our family members had the popcorn pairing, really fun.

Were in love! Phil, Jill, Justin and the rest of the crew are so amazing and they have such good wines! After re-locating from Chicago, this was the first winery we stumbled upon and after a couple of tastings, became members. We just love the atmosphere and always look forward to picking up our shipment and the member parties they host.

Went to the winery for the first time, unfortunately during an event. The quality of the winery was completely overshadowed by how ineptly the event was planned. The winery has ample space, but absolutely none of it was used with meaningful purpose. Tastings were only available at the bar, so the rhythm of the tasting went something like this: wait for 10 minutes shoulder to shoulder with everyone else doing the same thing. Enjoy a sip of wine. Wait 10 minutes for a small tasting... rinse and repeat. Not a very novel idea to, I don’t know, put up a few event tents and tables with a few people pouring wine to decentralize the crowd, or offer limited tastings and encourage bottle sales. Was very happy to leave without any wine.

Stopped in on a whim..had never been before. Wines were wonderful. Plus, of all the places we went this day, was the ONLY one where the owners were present and mingled with patrons. Friendly, interested, caring, and did I mention their wines were outstanding? We will be back.

This is a cute winery with tons of knick knacks to purchase. I wasnt a fan of the wine, its a little on the dry side for me.

A very nice vineyard in Auburn, CA. The wine was good, and the set up is charming. Id recommend checking out Lone Buffalo if youre in the area. The good folks here wont disappoint you.

Friendly staff, amazing ambiance, and best of all amazing wine. Loved every wine in the tasting and there was a large list of wines to taste. The stories behind each wine made the tasting all the more authentic.

The place looks nice, but their dog tried to nip/bite my 5 year old. Not ok.
