Grew up skating this park and quite honestly never went till I knew I was comfortable skateboarding around people, learned how a skatepark worked (trust me there’s loads of videos for kids to watch to learn how not to snake and how to take turns weather you’re on a skateboard scooter or bike), I also made sure I could get out of the bowl and up the ramps by myself with what ever I was riding. I highly recommend if you bring your kid here to educate not only yourself but your child on how a skate park works, make sure that whatever they are riding they can do it confidently! Make sure they can assist them selves out of the bowl with their scooter bike or skateboard. If your child can’t do that don’t take them here you’re putting the experienced riders at risk because your child doesn’t know what they are doing and will definitely cause an accident!!! A very easy way to see if you kid can do these things is take them early in the morning and do a trial run that way you don’t disrupt anyone’s day at the skatepark who’s experienced enough to actually ride it. You wouldn’t just let your 6-12 year old kid get behind the wheel of your car on the road! You would wait till they were of age and let them get a permit and making sure they are confident in driving and knew the basics the rules of the road! If you didn’t they would definitely cause an accident and the same applies here! I wouldn’t say this park is beginner friendly but it is intermediate friendly. The way the park is structured is everything is in the middle of the place there is very little stuff to ride on the outside so if your kid can’t even ride in a parking lot or down a hill in your neighborhood there’s nothing for them here! Take them to a parking lot and it will be way more beneficial! So if you’re a parent and debating weather or not to bring your beginner kid here don’t!!!

Cool artwork and good skatepark. Everything seems to flow nicely here and its in good shape. People are friendly. Nothing crazy huge to get seriously hurt on but a place you can definitely grow.Doesnt seem to be strictly enforced around here.

It was pretty busy when we went but everyone was super courteous of each other, especially the adult skaters towards the younger kids there. Nice to see people from all different walks of life able to share their love of skate/bmx and yes, even some little people rockin it out on their scooters.
