We went to the matinee showing of Frozen 2. The experience would have been excellent if heat in the theater had not been so overwhelming. I had to take my youngest out to get air because he would get too hot and start fussing. Sadly, we missed a good bit of the movie because of this.

Got the whole theater to ourselves. Blessed covid times.

Love their customer service. Good family friendly environment. Arcade is only a handful of machines and they usually dont work except for the Basketball one, car racing and one of the claw.

Clean facility. Buying tickets at the concession stand was not the best experience due to confusion about which line was where. Sound quality was good though. Personnel was nice and helpful.

Kind of a strange experience. We got our tickets for a 3D movie, but were not given the magic glasses. We had to go back up front and ask for them. As we settled in, commercials were running on the screen, but without sound. I dont think the paying advertisers would have been pleased. Once the previews started there was sound, and the actual movie experience was fine. I guess this is what happens when you let kids run the place.

I had bought tickets via the app to a movie for me and my nephew. We get there 30 minutes until the showing (1:40) and the doors are locked and lights inside are off. We and about 30 other people stood outside for nearly 20 minutes and we all left and went to another theater. The ones in charge at AMC should fire every single person that works there if it’s still open. The screens showing showtimes and snack prices were on. There were no signs on the doors saying they were closed. This happened over a week ago.

The place seemed incredibly understaffed. Thankful for the previews before the movie.The teller was nice and got my order correct and the seats were comfortable. The screen was perfect and the sound was also good. Seems like a family place overall I enjoyed my experience and would see another movie here.

My fiance and I went to a midday show at this theater today. First, the pretzel bites were straight up stale. We decided not to order any more food and just get our seats and enjoy the movie. After sitting in a theater for 3 hours, youd expect people to have to use the bathroom right? Unfortunately, I could barely even walk into the main womens bathroom because the smell of urine and feces was eye watering. I pushed through the smell and couldnt find a single toilet that wasnt COVERED in pee. Absolutely disgusting. I went to the other womens bathroom and it was nearly just as bad. Thankfully, there was a single toilet that was... okay. When I found my fiance again, he told me the mens room smelled awful, but it wasnt as disgusting. When I told an employee, all I got was a deadpan okay?. We wont be going back.

The family went here to see a movie while visiting my son in Auburn. It had comfortable seats, good popcorn and prices were reasonable. It was a nice theater

Good movies but refreshments VERY expensive. 1 popcorn & 2 drinks $18! Very clean and servers are helpful. Good as a SPECIAL treat. Not like yrs ago,when you could get FRESH bucket of popcorn and 2 drinks for $10-12. I think this is why people rent movies and have refreshments at home, plus you can adjust volume.

Some of the theaters have some age, but the newer large theater is really nice!

Not the greatest movie theater but its pretty relaxed and lines arent usually that long. The big d is easily the best theater and is very comfortable.

I bought a ticket (by app) and when I arrived (on time) the theater was locked. There were no cars in the lot. Am now on hold (7 minutes so far) having called their 1-800 number.And then, it dawned on me: I had forgotten to reset my clock for the winter!!! Did I feel foolish!!

Basic movie theater. Its the smaller of the two places in town. If you want to avoid the crowds, go here.

This place has gone down a bit over the years. Time for some renovations. The last movie I took my kids to the air conditioning unit was dripping from the ceiling on my shoulder. Looked up ceiling tile was kinda wet. Just need some rejuvenation in that place.

Very nice theater, being that it is a few years older than the newer AMC Theater down the road. The workers are very friendly and the keep the place exceptionally clean. Also the matinee price is actually $0.10 cheaper than the other AMC Theater, $5.89 is there a matinee price. Also being that Im from Dadeville it is actually 10 minutes closer for me to go to that particular AMC Theater. A plus for this location is that it tends to be less busy than the larger AMC Theater, even on opening night of movies.

This theater is good for what it has to work with. But it could really use an update. Its never really busy, and thats a shame. It is relatively close to the Auburn University campus. You can tell that the staff just really isnt into being there. One really good thing is that they have plenty of restrooms!

I love seeing movies and this place is pretty good. Prices are obviously high and that sucks but just go on tuesdays to get that Tuesday deal. The employees are really nice and some are really fun to have conversations with all in all I love it.

I used to come here all the time when I was younger. It could use some updating inside the theatres. The Coke Freestyle is sweet.

Of course this theater isnt as up to date as the Tiger13 cinema, but there are fewer teenagers hanging around and there is tons of seating in the lobby area. This location also has an arcade. The theater seats arent comfortable, but I go because its just quieter.

This theater is a little bit dated, but the popcorn is good and video quality is the same as other theaters in the area. I think the theater in Opelika has seats that are more comfortable, but it can often not be worth the drive!They also have $5 movies on Tuesday (as long as it’s not in the Big D theater). Along with that, they have discounts on popcorn and soda on Tuesdays.

Nice, friendly theater. Clean restrooms and clean floors in the seating area. Ambient temperature is always on the cool side which is good for keeping germs at bay. The particular movie room we sat in had a musty odor which is probably normal since this is an older theatre compared to the one at Capps Landing location.

Theaters are very good and clean. Prices for food and drink are quite excessive.

For some reason open only after 12:30, the tickets are sold in the same place where you buy the food, and people seems lost. The sound and quality of the movie is very good.

We went for the 5$ Tuesday special. I was able to see a chick flick with my mom and my dad and son got to see there own movie.

Love the $5 Tuesdays - cant beat it! The concession lines moved fast and everyone was friendly - I think theyre the only cinema in the area that serves alcohol. They also have very clean restrooms. Great place all around!

Super upset and actually would appreciate if someone contacted me. We are currently hear seeing the 4:50 ugly dolls. Myself and 3 kids, 2 kid boxes, one large popcorn and a large drink. The theater is so dirty, the popcorn taste like they made it this morning. This is pretty upsetting considering I just paid $56. If I didnt have a 4 and 6 year old that would flip out we would leave and request our money back. Very upsetting. The staff was super friendly though.

The BigD theater is nice here. The other ones can use an upgrade.

Too loud. The sound was deafening. Left partway through the movie. The kids in there will be deaf by the time theyre 9 years old. It should be against the law. My teeth were rattling.

Movie quality was okay, the screen is a little small but otherwise a great experience.

Ahem. Generally I enjoy going to this theater. It is a place many of us hangout. But lately the treatment of people by the workers has been greatly lowered. Me and my friends were going to watch black panther and we had bought tickets to tomb raider before then decided to get other ones to black panther. We had gone into the theater and watched some of it. Another friend and I went to the bathroom. We threw away our tickets thinking it wouldn’t be an issue. We did not know when we went in again they wouldn’t let us in to either movie and yelled at us to get out if we didn’t have them. We wasted a lot of money on this place. I know I and other will not be coming here again. Ever.

My experience in this place was awful. When we went in to the place where we were going to watch the movie was around 85 degrees and there was no toilet papaer in the bathroom.

I’ve been here a few times and the experiences have been fairly straight forward. Service was somewhat friendly but the overall quality of the movie picture and theatre was not great. My seat was very worn and the theatre has an old smell to it. Decent place if you don’t care about aesthetics and just want to see the movie.

Fun movie theater for the whole family

They need to work on customer service. I was standing in line waiting to get my tickets the cashier was texting on her phone and totally ignored me. I thought she was on break so I went in another line. Once she got finished texting she helped the next guest. I was thinking wow it must be awesome to text on the job while the customers wait!

Absolutely annoying. Instead of having the ticket booth at the front of the building open and selling tickets like an intelligent business would. No they make you buy the tickets at the concession stand. Then instead of having a line for tickets only. They are all intertwined into a slow as molasses in winter time. To say the least I am absolutely annoyed at the ignorance and unproductive way of handling things. It will be a very long time before I return to this theater. A negative ten rating should be available.

Terribly organised. I pre-ordered tickets online for Endgame. The email it sent me told me to see the self service kiosk or the ticket booth to get my tickets situated. Great. We get there 20 minutes before the movie starts on the opening night and they only have refreshment center open thats handling EVERYTHING. Theyre doing online tickets, in house tickets, and snacks and drinks. Whats the point of having a ticket booth and two refreshment centers if youre not going to utilize it on literally THE BIGGEST MOVIE IN HISTORY to date. What other time would it be used? So, even though we get there 20 minutes early, have already paid for our tickets, and we dont want any refreshments, we have to stand in the refreshment line for 45 MINUTES just to get our tickets. So we can finally go sit down, except that by the time we get inside the theater, it is literally filled to the brim. There were no available seats past the second row. Me and my girlfriend had to stumble around the theater during the opening scenes to try and find a seat, only to end up having to sit in the floor FOR THREE HOURS. About an hour in, I went and asked someone at the counter if it was possible to get a refund because we paid extra for better seats and a better experience (The Big D seats were over $16/piece) and we still ended up having to sit in the floor and my back was killing me. They told me no that we couldnt get a refund because it was an hour in and there were still seats available (referring to the front row where you literally cant even see the whole screen because it exits your peripheral vision and you have to strain your neck almost directly upwards the whole time. I was so disappointed that I almost cried because I had been looking forward to this movie for so long, and now all I could focus on was how much my back hurt and how I wasted my money and time. I will not be visiting any AMC theater again because of its terrible practices and the bad taste it left in my mouth from such an awful experience.

The movie watching experience was not bad. We watched 3D movie and it was ok. Foods were expensive as usual. Wife informed womens bathroom did not have paper towels and the whole restroom smelled like urine. The concession counter employee was courteous.

I usually enjoy my Movie experience here but they usually give cold popcorn.

This is a pretty good theater. Decent screen technology considering the size of Auburn, AL. The theater recently installed the Coke Freedom machine which 1) allows free drink refills and 2) lets you pick from many permutations of flavors.Also new for 2017 - Beer! You can get a decent bottle of beer (pseudo-craft beer, as in Sierra Nevada) for cheaper than ATL airport: $5.50/bottle.

Great prices! Pretty clean facilities. Didnt eat anything, so I cant say anything on that. The movie room I was in was pretty small. Im from another city and the theaters there are bigger, but theyre not as clean and theyre more expensive. I like this theater :)

Pretty large theater with a great selection of snacks and drinks. Probably one of the better ones in town (I mean, there’s only two to choose from), but the experience is great. Haven’t had any problems with the staff, and the Big D is always a great time. Heh.

Seems like every time I try to go bowling, they are closed to the public for college p.e. Im finished! New place at Glenn and Dean is AWESOME!

The screens are way too dark. If it’s a low lit scene then the picture is pretty much hard to determine what’s going on. I’ve been here a total of 3 times and it’s the same problem. Please turn the brightness up or reposition the curve tv. I really enjoy the movies, I do not want to have to buy it online because I enjoy the popcorn and drinks too much.

Went to se Shazam and nearly froze to death while having to sit through nearly 30 minutes of comercials after the 7:20 satrt time along with more conercials after the previews. That much advertising should warrant a cheaper ticket. I was in jeans and a long sleeve and almost had gone all out. It doesnt need to be 50 degrees indoors.

Went last week movie broke understandable. Then went back this week and took forever to get the tickets cause there were only 3 registers running for like a ton of people. Its not like they only have 3. On the out we counted 12.

Im a very big fan of AMC theaters and everything that you could possibly complain about in this theater is something that they inherited from the previous company. I go on every Tuesday that I can and have lots of great memories here

My favorite favorite favorite place to be for rest relax

Compared to other AMCs back home in Illinois I was very dissapointed. The layout and operations is strange. Something just felt off about concessions, popcorn tasted old, and I wanted jalapenos but they dont have them out Ive always been to a theater that had jalapenos. Im not sure if it was me but I kept having to repeat myself to the cashier about what I wanted. Staff did not seem attentive, customer service should be good at an AMC, but I was dissapointed.

The staff followed my friends and I to the batthroom and did not speak to us. They were suspicious of us having an outside drink (Starbucks). They did not stop us and ask if we actually had this drink with us or if we would prove that we did not. We were traveling in a group of 6 and 3/6 went to the bathroom and one of the ushers did not speak, make eye contact but did come up to the other 3/6 got to our friend’s things, picked up her flannel, put it back down and never said a word. Very disrespectful!

The theater is very up to date and modern! I love going to this one. The only bad thing is the price of the food but thats all movie theaters so its to be expected lol. Just go eat afterwards

The greatest cinema facility in a 5 mile radius of Auburn mall. Couldnt be more pleased knowing that beggars cant be choosers! Its aight.

Im not sure how to rate theaters. It was clean, the staff were polite. The DDD screen or whatever its called is awesome, though the stadium seating is a bit too vertical. The regular screen had odd seating all pushed to one side due to the entrance being on the right.

Fantastic place, get that good old movie theater feeling while you down a drink bigger than your head.

The prices were exhorbitant. We purchased 3 matinee tickets, 2 drinks, and 1 popcorn. $51!!!!!Either the popcorn or the butter had gone bad. We are NOT picky eaters, and were usually too cheap to waste food, but it was inedible. The facilities themselves were ok, which is why I gave it 2 stars instead of one; however, it was nothing special, and for $51 it better be amazing.

Movie began with 30min of commercials before the actual previews... If you are gonna trap people and show that many commericals at the scheduled show time the tickets should be discounted. But my main issue was the temperature of the theatre.... It was WAAAAY too cold in the theater. If I didnt enjoy the movie so much I would of walked out and requested a refund.

Excellent location close to mall but not inside it; easy in and out! Clean inside and out with large comfortable chairs with tiered seating so no heads block your viewing. Food is expensive but about normal for movie theaters these days. Overall, highly recommended especially considering the other theaters in the area. This is your BEST CHOICE.

Very nice staff clean theatres had a blast

Pretty decent place although after 2 hrs the seating gets a little uncomfortable. The movie I watched was almost 3 hours long. All in all a nice place.

They sucked so I went to watch a r- rated movie and he told my friend he had to be 17 to get the tickets ok well Im over 17 well you have to be 21 to get the tickets well like which one dang make up your mind and I have not had this happen any where else

The projector went out and we waited about 20 minutes for someone to come fix it. They couldnt do anything so they have us vouchers for any movie we wanted to watch. But we couldnt watch the movie we came for that day because both showings used that projector. Overall I was HIGHLY unsatisfied and quite annoyed. An hour of my life Im never going to get back... I would give a zero stars, but you cant post without at least 1.

Not too crowded in theater.

I went with my girlfriend to the matinee expecting to save a little money. I was most definitely wrong. Our two movie tickets a large drink and two boxes of candy equaled out to around 40 dollars. Also a regular popcorn alone was 7 dollars plus tax. The employees arent the nicest either no one actually seemed to want to be there also if you are looking for alcohol expect to spend quite a bit for very little

They ran out of popcorn tonight. I never thought I’d encounter that problem. :(

September 09, 2017 : My husband and I were on Date night to an R rated movie. The movie theatre was filled with underage kids who were unaccompanied by any adults. The kids kept up a cacophony of sound, screaming, shouting; several adult patrons complained to the manager to no avail. Husband asked manager to simply check the IDs of the 50+ kids involved (which should have been done at ticket purchase) ; manager refused. This was a violation of the law. Seemed he was frightened of all those children. Ten minutes into movie we still couldnt hear anything from the screen. All adult audience members left the theatre in disgust. We will not return.January 08, 2018A month later I received in the mail, an apology from the manager, plus two tickets. We gave away the tickets.

Good theater complex. Small theaters compared to Columbus Ga theaters but good.

Clean, affordable deals when you belong to the mailing list, and good movies. Just cant beat the deal.
