Awesome adventure. Peru paid back for young people kids and adults and grandparents too. The berries and pictures were amazing. The staff, the bit who was loading the ferris wheel needed a lesson on how to put his phone down and not be rude he should not have that job. Also it was very affordable

Growing up my favorite movie was Wild Hearts Can’t be Broken. The highlight of my trip was going to be visiting The Steel Pier. I realized with covid a lot of things would be closed, but my hope was to at least get to walk the pier. I traveled all the way from North Carolina with this dream in mind only to find out the pier is open weekends only. According to the website it was open select days through the week and we planned accordingly. Walked all the way from the Tropicana. What a disappointment.

9-16-2020 - This pier is like a small carnival. It has the famous ferris wheel with enclosed heated / air conditioning pods. All kinds of other rides including a helicopter ride, games and more. This is a fantastic place for kids.

Truly an enjoyable experience. I went for a work trip and had the time to explore this. Thank goodness I did. An iconic area full of life and wonderful hidden gems. Several great local shops along the pier too, don’t overlook them. Great deals!

Always a fun time and like the shops. Parking is easy to find, lots of hotels if you decide to stay. There are two parks ( I like Steel Pier one better) but Steel Pier is closed and the one thats on the boardwalk is open(keep forgetting the name).Love the option of walking to your location or just take the train cart there( Faster) .

Hopped on the Ferris wheel and the views were great. Now for the down side.Sign on Pier says 12-15min for $10 per person but when we got on the attendant said the ride will only last 8-10 minutes and in actuality it only lasted 5 minutes. So I felt it was a bit steep of a price for a short ride.

I get that COVID-19 is an issue but really... There are just MISERABLE people working the rides and even the games. Most things are out of order. Rides, even some games. Today I thought about getting 4 wristbands but with all the rides down, whats the point? Even some of the little kids rides werent on or working. Kind of pointless. The rides that ARE open have the most jerky employees operating them. Today was not a busy day and they werent even doing a little longer ride. Im glad my kids got to do some rides but I wouldnt waste your money right now. At night theres huge lines and not because anyone is social distancing, its because you have only a few options. 3 days there and rides kept getting shut down or never worked. Good thing the tickets never expire! Below: one ride that did work, the one behind it and the Crazy Mouse? Out of order.

The ferris wheel is a complete ripoff. For one the line is 35 minutes because they are only using 10 carts out of the 30+. They sanitize the carts inconsistently. As pictured the windows are disgusting and obstruct your view. The ride is advertised as 12 - 15 minutes but is only 6-8 minutes.Mask are sold at the entry point but not enforced through the park. Social distancing is not in place or enforced. The rides that are ok for adults are not always operational like the MIX.

I really enjoyed my time there with my family. Fun times and good food. The only downside was buying tickets for 3 kids can really add up and I wish there was a wristband option.

Mi
Review №14

Overpriced tickets for aging but still charmless rides and even more unfairly unwinnable boardwalk games than usual. The basketball hoop at one game was at least 15 feet high and probably the exact diameter of the ball, and not only did the the 2-minute hanging bar roll, it was actually greased. Only saving grace was a decent country/folk singer at the bar area singing Johnny Cash hits and drinking songs.

Great place for rides and amusements, the big wheel here has a great view of Atlantic city and the beaches. Lots of food stands and restaurants too with the casinos just a stone throw away. A late night walk and it becomes illuminated.

Family-friendly activity, rides for every age group. Not too big which is a plus for me because that means less walking. A bit expensive for my taste, for example, games are approximately $5 a play also ride tickets are a bit costly. The best time to go with the kids is probably Thursday afternoons when you can buy a wristband to ride as much as you want for $30. There are some recent additions like a pub and ax throwing. The wheel is a really cool experience with great views of the ocean and boardwalk but for $10 per person I feel like the ride is a bit too short (about 10 minutes).

Kids had fun, but it was a bit pricey. $1.50 a ticket and most rides took 4 tickets some as many as 8. You could buy tickets at a bulk rate; $50 for 50, $73 for 80. The arcade was reasonable and had tickets for prizes. Good for a little fun without breaking the bank.

Went to Steel Pier this weekend with our son after reading their sanitizing and mask policy on the website. We saw someone at the front validating mask usage. Seems like once you walk past that person, you’re free to do whatever you want. We walked around before considering buying tickets and there were several employees with their mask pulled down including some employees who were gathered together, and helping customers. There were also many customers without masks. There were no customer hand sanitizer stations throughout the park. We did not see anyone wiping down ride seats or games in between guests. We did not buy tickets and will not visit Steel Pier again!

The Steel Pier was too crowded for my taste with this Pandemic. Some people had on mask n some didnt but they were selling them for $1. I stayed in the little kids area which I thought was safetest place to be but I only stayed a little while the risk wasnt worth it. The tickets are too expensive though After u ride a few rides...I suggest doing the wristbands! The boardwalk itself was crowded but I felt like u could have some sort of distance there..it was an okay time but my fingers are crossed!

This was a cute little pier. I think the price for the ferris wheel was ~$10 for 15 min., and had to be paid separate from the rest of the games just like the helicopter ride. Atlantic city is perhaps not the first place you would think of for a getaway, but this ended it nicely. I suggest going at sunset if you do this, the view was really nice.
