Took my parents here for a mini vacation. Nice spot, beachfront, warm water. The only 2 things that made me go thats different was there was no trash can nor microwave. Everything else was fine.

It begins when you drive up and are greeted with nice warm smiles and helpful gestures. Then the front desk staff and everyone else we see getting to our room always speaks and makes sure we are getting everything we need. You will not pass a member of this staff that doesn’t speak to you along the way. We’ve never stayed anywhere away from home that made us feel so at home like One Ocean Resort! Our favorite Florida getaway spot several times a year for some of the most relaxing and refreshing moments in our life! Thank you for going the extra mile that makes all the difference! If I could rate this more than 5 stars, I would! Y’all deserve it! We love our visits and look forward to seeing you again soon!

Valet parking was excellent the gentleman was very polite and was very helpful. The staff at the front desk were polite and very friendly and made you feel like you were family. The room had amazing views of the ocean. The beds were very comfortable and the size of the room was pretty big the only downside was the small bathroom. The hotel was in a great location next to several bars and restaurants.

We got married at One Ocean in 2013 and it was amazing experience. It was so amazing that we have gone back every year since to celebrate our anniversary! The staff, services, and everything in between exceed our expectations every time! The location is perfect for walking to dining, fun little shops, and bars. You CANNOT beat One Ocean! They are one of a kind!

This is a beautiful hotel located right on the ocean. The amenities are wonderful. There is a nice pool and pool bar and a restaurant that provides outside and inside dining. It is very clean, and our housekeeper, Zora, went above and beyond in making us feel comfortable and making sure we had everything we needed. The staff is professional and courteous. My husband and I loved it so much this summer that we are already booked to go back. There is lots of entertainment within walking distance as well. Highly recommend!!!

Mehhh. I was really looking forward to my stay here as I absolutely LOVE going to Azurea for brunch, and I have had great past experiences at the spa but I felt underwhelmed to say the least. For the price of the room + Resort Fee/day + $25/day Parking fee I could have stayed somewhere much nicer, for cheaper. The staff is truly amazing, the valet genuinely kick off the experience right and every person we walked by or had interaction with was always so friendly and eager to ask if we needed assistance. However, I felt like when we actually DID need assistance, they were no where to be found. With COVID, all ice, towels, coffee etc must be called for and delivered to your room. We called several times and the phone just rang and rang rang. One morning in particular my husband gave up on unanswered phone calls to OneTouch, and went to the front desk to be met by bored employees on their cellphones who just said oh sorry. While the hotel is very clean and mostly updated, for a pricey 4 star resort, the rooms are tiny and bathroom reminded me of a small camping trailer as you have to play Tetris with the doors and yourself to move around. What is left out of the descriptions of partial ocean view, is that MOST of your view is looking directly down on a dirty rooftop. Understood that the hotel is old, but you hear e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. The walls and doors are so thin, you can hear your neighbors TV and conversations and any person who even breaths loudly in the hallway. If you aspire for a luxury resort style pool day, the pool is the size (maybe smaller) of any EconoLodge or Days Inn but with slightly nicer deck furniture. Overall, I would recommend going to the resort for spa and food, but you can find a better place to stay for a better price and comparative amenities on the beach easily.

My son drove down from Indiana to give me a week long birthday celebration at this fabulous resort. What a wonderful experience I had. The rooms are clean and luxurious. Ate everyday from the restaurant where the food was delicious and cooked perfectly to order. All the staff was gracious and kind, but specifically Debra, who took my lunch order everyday, is awesome! She was friendly and patient with this old birthday girl. Thank you Debra for making my 64th birthday the best ever! Maybe next visit we can meet in person.

Really great place in a great location, right on the beach. Very nice accomodations, comfortable bed. Very clean environment. The on site restaurant has amazing breakfast food, and there are so many restaurants and shops surrounding the resort. My wife got a massage at the spa and she felt great the rest of the day! Would 100% recommend this place!

The facility was immaculate and everyone we met was very friendly. The pool service was awesome and the drinks Ricky kept coming were very tasty. We went to the beach and Stephen S put out our chairs was so friendly and helpful. Answered all our questions promptly. I would most definitely stay here again. A luxurious and restful day at the pool and beach was a wonderful birthday treat from my best friend Ellen.

My recent stay started well. The resort is absolute beautiful. The staff was courteous and very pleasant. The bed didn’t sleep very well but that is to be expected at times. Another guest created a situation that negatively impacted my stay. However, I commend the hotel for reaching out to me and making things right. I recommend this hotel!

I came to the spa for the first time ever and it did not disappoint. The service is attentive and my therapist Amy was incredibly skilled. I was in a lovely ocean front room too. When she finished, my voice was a little deeper! I must have been really relaxed! Lol I definitely recommend this spa!

Beautiful hotel! Really nice room and very clean. Everything was wonderful for most part. Only negative I would say is the breakfast food was a little sub par. We did not eat dinner. Lunch was very good though

The hotel was very nice and the bed was SUPER comfortable. Gardner was probably the best part about my experience and he was very hospitable and went above and beyond to ensure that my boyfriend and I were comfortable and made sure we enjoyed our time. I will definitely come back in the future in hopes to see Gardner as the manager!

EXCELLENT SERVICE! This is one of the best resorts I have stayed at and definitely the best in North Florida. Top class all around.. the restaurant is amazing, and the views of Atlantic beach from the balcony are spectacular. Jada and the front desk manager were very helpful and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Will definitely stay here again. 10/10

My husband and I spent the weekend here and had a great time. They have friendly staff, great beach access with chair and umbrella rentals, and clean rooms. It was walking distance from everything we needed. The only negative is there was no microwave in our room.

This place is top notch. Everyone is friendly and remembers your name the entire stay. It felt like being at home while on vacation. Five star service the entire time. Jake at the valet was incredible and started the trip off right. Will be back very soon. Thank you!!

The room was pretty good but a lot of stuff was outdated. The bathroom was showing wears of time with cracks in places that there shouldnt be. But beware they nickel and dime you for everything. Charge you resort fees for stuff you never use. Valet parking is $25 a day and you have to tip the valet. Youre going to get charged the valet whether you want to or not. They are definitely taking advantage of the fact that theres nowhere else to park. If it wasnt for this being on the ocean it would not be worth the money.Edit: The extra fees were not disclosed at any point during the reservation process. One is not aware of these fees until you get to the front desk having already made the reservation. At this point youre stuck and youre just going to eat the fees because you want your family to have a nice time. Not very nice.

Honestly, the staff was amazing there! They went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay. Lacie who works at the pool bar was hands down the best at customer service. I don’t usually write reviews, but i just had to compliment the staff!

Nikk provided excellent service when we called to inquire about staying at One Ocean. We have had great food and great times in the outdoor lounge and restaurant, with special service from Aubrey, who was especially competent and sweet. Corner room on the 8th floor overlooking the ocean was incredible...as was all of the staff, including housekeepers Zora and Joanna; and beach attendant Martin was especially nice. And special thanks to Debra, who seems more like a friend than an employee...always kind and competent.

Was great all staff members were polite and very friendly. We stayed for 4 days and enjoyed it so much we will be going back. Not one bad thing to say about the place. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this is definitely the best one yet.

Can only speak for the spa but it was amazing. Staff was patient and calming. They described everything before it was done. I would definitely return and recommend.

This resort is comfortable with great service. I recommend staying more than one night. Its truly your home away from home. They have great food. Also, the beachfront is a few steps away, so pack all your beach essentials. Lastly, be prepared to have a great time.

Friendly staff, great location, nice room however people were running around in the hotel without facial coverings and the staff didn’t even seem to mind even though signs were put up everywhere. The staff had masks on...

I stayed at One Ocean Resort & Spa for a quick weekend away with my wife and it was perfect. We went out to dinner at Taverna in San Marco on Friday night and then spent the whole day on Saturday on the beach and enjoyed some really good pizza at Vs on the beach for dinner. The only thing that was not so good was the fact that it was raining a lot (not their fault) and bugs love to come inside so beware to leave the sliding glass door open during rainy/humid weekends.

Service was impeccable from Concierge to operator. Rooms were well maintenance and great ambiance. Didnt use bar lounge or other amenities.

The resort is beautiful and very clean. They did a fantastic job making sure we were taken care of. They had such great communication via text and everyone was super friendly.

Very upscale resort and spa. Very comfortable bed and courteous staff. The restaurant was awesome. Food quality was great and the dessert was delicious. The view of the beach from our room was great. Gym was nice and the pool was great.

Great place to spend the night or two. Great beach and wonderful staff. The beds were okay and so was the view. All in all I would recommend and stay again. Some good restaurants nearby as well.

I had a much needed mommy spa day yesterday and spent some time at the pool after to swim and eat lunch. The staff, esp. Lacey and Ricky were so awesome. Genuine kindness and interest in all the guests. I’m sure it’s tough to keep that great attitude and customer service, with the added stress with social distancing rules, but you wouldn’t know it when speaking with them. It was very refreshing in all aspects. Can’t wait to go back!!

We did get a great view of the ocean...and the staff was exceptionally professional, polite and helpful (to any extent one can expect). However, for being a 300 dollar stay, our room was tiny, even for the best room they had left for the night, noted as premiere King suite and the bathroom even more cramped. Holiday Inns have larger bathrooms - in One Ocean you have to choose between the door opening or being in the bathroom (both cannot happen at once). To further complicate, because the room was small, I would imagine that it would cool, very very well. It did not cool, basically, at all. The thermostat on the wall is this small thing, that doesnt even light up to see what it says when darker in the room. Odd. Set it to 68, never reached this - broken AC. Very disappointing given how much potential is there.

Classy...on the beach. It fits into the scene. The Atlantic Beach vibes are strong here.It is right across the street from all the little shops and restaurants for the area. Its beautiful inside and out.Maybe only a minute walk from the beach....which is the best one in the area (I think)

We came for a one night girls trip and everything was perfect! The pool staff was super helpful and lively. The front desk staff was friendly and the manager, Laura, made us feel very welcomed! We will definitely be back!

Sadly had such a terrible experience.. the room was nasty, which is really unsettling due to the current pandemic going on. There was stains on the sheets, a hair ball in the shower wall, and the screws to the sliding glass door were hanging out we almost cut ourselves on . I was definitely expecting a different experience at this nice of a hotel than I received

Beautiful location. However head boards of their beds are stained from people head and it is disgusting to say the least. The people staying seem so ignorant when it comes to wearing masks and limiting the number of people on the elevator. Failed in management.

We had an amazing stay - check in was a breeze, even though we forgot to pre-register, it took less than 4 minutes - the staff at this hotel is professional and caring, we received top service with welcoming smiles - everybody wore masks in the common areas and staff continuously sanitized the common areas throughout the day and evening - our room was clean and beautiful with a very comfy king size bed, a desk that also functioned as a dining table with 2 chairs, ideal for private in room dining, to my wifes delight there was also a beautiful chaise lounge for reading - in the mornings we enjoyed our in room coffee, watching the amazing sunrise from our private balcony - the beach side service was excellent and the hotel pool provided a refreshing relieve after a hot day at the beach - we enjoyed the large variety of small shops and restaurants within walking distance - there are no other large hotels in the immediate area, therefore the beach was never crowded - the One Ocean Resort and Spa is large enough to fully satisfy the need of the discriminating traveler and at the same time is able to provide the personal touch to make you feel welcome and at home - we will definitely be back

Loved the 8th floor ocean view. Pelicans flying by. The beautiful sun rise in the morning. Just sitting on the balcony & listening to the waves crash against the sand. It is so relaxing.

Expensive. Parking is valet only. In room fridge. Service is half staff right now. Chairs and umbrellas on the beach our 15 per item. Beach is nice. Resturant smelled good, but we did not have time to check it out. There were a large amount of kids (teenagers) with a chaperone or two which made the place boisterous.

I don’t normally do reviews but One Ocean Resort completely exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredible, all of them. While some were cleaning rooms, they would even pop out to say hi and wished us a good day. The resort is right on the beach, super clean, and family oriented. I will definitely be staying here again in the future!

My fiance and I stayed in a corner room #305, with a balcony, facing the ocean. We stayed in that room for 3 days for his birthday. That room was NEARLY perfect, pristine, super clean, private, QUIET, and roomy...though the bathroom couldve been bigger! We then moved to another room for a 4th day, bc he didnt want to leave lol. The 2nd room was a hallway room, with balcony and clear ocean views. HOWEVER the 2nd room, #602, was TERRIBLE! The room was soooo tiny, the headboard was FILTHY, as was the chaise lounge, the balcony was literally standing room only, we could hear EVERYTHING going on outside of our room, to the point that we could hear other peoples televisions! The hallway room is NOT worth the money they charge, we couldve stayed somewhere nicer, newer, cleaner and quieter, for less money! Its worth the money if you stay in a corner room. But they still waaaaay overcharge! It was a nice staycation, but we most likely will not be going back. The following photos are of the CORNER ROOM #305.... not the tiny, dirty hallway room #602....

I think I’m more of an Airbnb person. The staff was amazing, knowledgeable, extremely professional and kind. Never ate at the restaurant as you can walk to the local eateries around the hotel and enjoy their food selections instead. Plus you’re out walking about. Anyway, for a high end hotel I was surprised that they didn’t have any recycling options. Like none. They offer free bottled water and other assortments in your room but all I could think about was all the plastic I was needing to recycle and nowhere to put it. Not even by the pool. How is that possible for a high-end hotel like this? And they are right by the ocean even more of a reason for someone to need a place to recycle. I honestly will never stay here again because of the recycling. You’re RIGHT by the beach. Get an Airbnb just a few blocks down. So much better. It’s like you live there.

My mother, two daughters, and I had a great experience here! Everyone greeted us with a smile and was a great help when needed. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Came for a girls weekend away and had a wonderful time in this hotel. The masseuse, Iain gave me an incredible massage. If you come to the spa, definitely ask for him!

The front desk lady that checked us in and out was not super friendly. The pool chairs were not very comfortable with several bars across the back and legs sticking out. The pool area and cleanliness of the pool was less than ideal in comparison to the rating of 4 star resort. The drink prices at the pool bar are quite overpriced for the size and additional 22% gratuity! Cleanliness of the room and and appearance of the furniture was not great. Overall quite underwhelmed regarding our stay. Very glad we got a good price during Covid, otherwise I not worth it.

The customer service was excellent but the rooms themselves are not anything special. Nothing really stands out in the rooms besides an ocean view if you happen to stay in one that has it.

Overall experience was excellent! Wonderful service throughout and Lacy took great care of us with our lunch and drinks by the pool!

Ive stayed here several times now and really enjoy this hotel. You cannot beat this location. Out of the front, you have quick access to an array of excellent restaurants, bars, and shopping. In the back, you can enjoy the ocean views while you work out or Wade in the pool while listening to the ocean. Take a few extra steps beyond the pool and youre on the beach. The rooms are updated and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Not every room is a full ocean view, so if thats your pleasure, make sure to request at booking. If you dont get an ocean view, you can literally walk out the back door and have toes-in-sand within seconds. Also a good spot for a small to mid range company conference with less than (~ 75attendees).

You are paying for the location, not the room. Our King room was so tiny with a bathroom so small that you could barely shut the door unless you sat on the toilet. AC wasnt cold, hot water was only warm, furnishings were outdated for a resort of this caliber. How clean the room was is questionable. If you wanted ice you had to go to front desk to get 1 bucket of ice because they didnt answer when we called guest service and you cant serve yourself. Valet parking only, $25/day, and the attendees were backed up. They had signs requiring masks in the hotel common areas but didnt enforce it. Had to ride the elevator multiple times with people not wearing masks (its Florida, folks!). Would stay somewhere else for that price.

I went to the spa and had a wonderful massage by Sandra, and then a pedicure by Veronica. Veronica does a magnificent job. The spa director Beverly Fox-Crismond was very accommodating and helpful as usual. Love her.

We are locals and when we pick a place to eat and have drinks it is here. We have always been treated like family as are every guest to One Ocean. Christy, in the bar, is a master at drink making and knows how to make a person feel welcomed and pampered. You are guaranteed a top quality visit at One Ocean!

Beautiful hotel, however we were surprised to realize our room smelled like cigarette smoke when we left the first time. When we came back subsequent times, the room smelled more and more like cigarette smoke. We alerted the staff who only offered us inconvenient solutions. We didn’t feel we should have been inconvenienced by someone else breaking the rules. They eventually removed a very small fee from our bill, but seems inadequate from a 4-star hotel.

Had the most delicious meal at Azurea ! The presentation was amazing and our server Brittany went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect! Can’t wait to come back!!

Will never stay here again. Make up on the duvet. A toilet tank that took 15-20 minutes before filling back up. No power cord for the phone so couldnt call the front desk. Tv connection was terrible. Shower was beyond tiny. Staff and location are the only positives.

This hotel is okay. It is a little dated but its one of the better ones on the beach. Its close to a lot of good restaurants and the room service is pretty good.

I would never recommend this place because of the cancellation policy. It’s ridiculous. Especially during the days were in. I haven’t taken a vacation in a year and a half. I checked my schedule, had off, booked the room, got to work only to realize they changed the schedule. I figured, no problem. They wouldn’t screw me on $218. Boy was I wrong. So then I figured, well I’ll just make the drive from Hiram, Georgia at 9 pm. Well I ended up getting the flu and didn’t feel safe making the drive. All of you businesses crack me up. You all say “oh our policy is” I don’t care!!! It’s about making things right with the customer. I’ve been in the customer service industry a long time and it’s easy to make people happy because of companies like yourself. I worked for Marco’s. Do you think I adhered you any of their policies regarding returns or making things right? They’re insane. White collar pencil pushers who sit behind a desk and have no clue what it’s like to be in the line of battle. I don’t blame y’all. I blame the IDIOTS that make the policy to take money from people. Make it right, don’t make it right. I don’t care. But I will right reviews to make you look bad. I don’t care how nice your place is. Have a blessed day

Negative: Bar is limited and over priced as well as the pool was small. Without quarantine this hotel is not a 4 star. Quarantine definitely impacted stay but location is awesome.

One Ocean Resort is always my go-to place to stay in Atlantic Beach/Jacksonville. The staff is always stellar from the valets to the concierge to the housekeeping staff & the rooms are nice & well appointed.

My husband has had work down in Jacksonville and we have been staying at One Ocean every other week for the past 4 months. We cannot say enough good things about it! The rooms are wonderful, the location couldnt be any better, and the staff is 5 stars! We started coming in March when quarantine first began and they were professional and kept us feeling safe the entire time. They always went out of their way to accommodate us. As a teacher, I was providing instruction remotely and they would let me into the conference room daily to have the fastest internet. We had a vacation planned in 30A next week and we cancelled it because we felt like it couldnt compare to our time at One Ocean. You can park your car upon arrival and you wont need it until you leave. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, youre right on the beach, they have a pool bar, spa, awesome fitness center, and so much more! A special thank you to Amber and Kaytee for making our time at One Ocean so wonderful!

Very walkable area right on the beach. The room was small but nicely appointed. Cleanliness definitely needs improvement (our headboard was stained). Elevator broke during our stay. Pool was nice, goes to 6ft. Id stay here again if the price was right
