Great flow at the park even when a bit crowded - good ATLANTA vibe - better skaters helping and teaching the novices.

Great park. Love to go there and is a great place for other activities besides skating too. There aren’t very many people most of the time and has three bowls two quarter pipes. Overall I would recommend.

We visit this park weekly because my daughter likes to skate. I never leave her alone. I normally skate or sit in the car. I see a lot of kids getting high in the park so I stick close but it a pretty cool place to skate and the park itself is beautiful

Dropped into a bowl on my mountain bike. Not recommended but it definitely got my adrenaline pumping. The people who hang here are interesting and generally friendly. They will share their smokables if you have good conversation and ask nicely.Gets a little sketch after dark due to being somewhat remote (no direct access to major roads) and poor lighting. Probably don’t go alone at night.

My daughter likes to go skateboarding here. As long as you can deal with different types of people & the smell of mary jane - this is a unique park to come to. Around the corner is King of Pops - we always end there, getting a refreshing popsicle before driving home.

Love this skatepark, smooth concrete humps made it perfect for beginners and those on scooters. Plus the quick walk to Ponce City Market is a perfect lunch destination. Bring a lock so you can park your wheels and enjoy the food Hall. There are Bird/lime scooters everywhere if you choose.

This place is a great place in the city to let loose and get on a board, whether your new or old to the sport. Plus the festivals they hold here are a great way to build community along the beltline. Hopefully I can make it to free yoga sometime soon!

This place is one of the coolest places along the Eastside trail in my opinion. Theres always something going on like yoga or people chilling on the field area. I usually sit near the skate park and watch the local skaters do their thing. Its a nice atmosphere with people of all skill levels doing anything.

Oh to be 15 and have bones that will mend quickly when broken. This is the place. Looks like the best California swimming pool sk8 bowls all here in Atlanta. If you skate a board, roller blades, or just want to put toddlers in place you dont have to chase them (I swear to God I saw a baby sitter do this) then this is your place. Try it all the cool kids are doing it.

Q
Review №44

Bowl skaters paradise, steep transitions not much street stuff, the red curb out front is fun with several different curb styles to play on. the city turns the lights off at 11pm only in the skating areas and makes that area of the beltline and the park super sketchy and 100% more dangerous at night. not everyone is on the same schedule ATL.. come on. i cant think of any real reason that it has to shut down at night, its not staffed. shutting the lights off just makes it dangerous. even now in early may, its almost unusuable in the heat of the day.

We were really impressed with the skate park. We didnt realize there was a large grass park in front of the skateboard area. There was a concert taking place, which provided a fun and exciting atmosphere after watching the Lantern Parade. The skateboard park was pretty active, especially for 10:30 at night. I wish I had learned to skateboard as a kid. Can you imagine if the skateboard park was even bigger? Awesome place to hangout.

Ju

THE place for skaters on a Saturday in Atlanta, and there are plenty of riders on scooters and bikes honing their craft here too. Designed by Tony Hawk himself, theres finally a place in the city, right on the BeltLine, where skate culture is embraced and celebrated.

This is such a wonderful addition to the life of the city. Everyone from seasoned skaters to children just learning to ride is welcome. It can get busy on th ed weekends.

Wi
Review №70

Looks cool to the average tourist passerby, but AWFUL to skate. Kinda like stoner park/Venice in Cali. Lots of obstacles with no flow. 3 large bowls for no reason with a bad layout (unless you’re Bob Burnquist). Lots of locals (who suck) but they feel entitled to get mad if you don’t understand where to stand in their jigsaw looking park while they wobble on by. I’d rather skate flat ground across the street or go to the Street League park in Kennesaw. Don’t come here unless you’re a vert pro or taking a date to do some airs out of the bowl in front of her for a few minutes. Otherwise it’s just another overrated park

Very cool spaced tucked back in the neighborhood. Large, spacious grass park. The skate park had one kidney bean well, two dome wells, a series of grind rails, amorphous obstacles, and a series of levels of pipes. There were age ranges there from 6-45, and people on skateboards, scooters, and trick bikes. Dogs are allowed as well, and parking was free.

Awesomr place to skate or watch skaters. There are some really good ones out there. It splits off of the belt line which is a bigger and runner friendly trail. The trail also is currently set up with arts and crafts by the local community. Oh and you have to try the mini/solo merry go round in the kids area next to the skater park.
