Absolutely gorgeous Recreational facility in fact the nicest public recreation facility and all of Atlanta and it has a wonderfully beautiful architecture a beautiful clean facility with nice and helpful staff and a recreational and swimming pool gym workout equipment and even a Rockwall

Nice place to get some laps in. The pool opens at 6am and will fill up all the lanes in a matter of minutes. Still the locals were very receptive to sharing 3 or 4 in a lane going counter clockwise.

My family has a membership primarily to use the lap pool and fitness facilities and we thoroughly enjoy it. Depending on the time there may be 2+ swimmers using each of the 4 lap lanes. They allow up to 6 people per lane for circular swim. My daughter conditions for her school swim team on days that her team doesnt practice so this helps since its located on our normal route home from school. They provide sufficient water weights and swim boards for water workouts and there is a dive board at each lap lane (they have the white covers on them that you remove if you choose to use them for competitive swim practice. Just remove the bungee cord from underneath and lift it off). The locker rooms are clean, almost never anyone else in the locker rooms and there are plenty of rest room stalls, sinks and showers. There is also a water extractor for swim suits. $245 family membership up to 4 people was the best deal for us and is well worth the annual membership. Or $5 per visit. You can also only get a child membership for $65 or an adult membership for $110 for the year. I love that the membership allows access to all city of Atlanta recreation facilities and pools. Its a sweet deal. If youre looking for more lap lanes, Washington park has approx 10-12 lap lanes but I know some swim teams train there so call to check lane availability. I havent yet been to any of the other facilities. Washington park was also very clean and offers more aerobic classes and swim classes for kids and adults in a separate open pool.

One of the best hidden secrets for a gym membership in Atlanta. $10 a month or $120 a year, for a pool and small workout area. Highly recommend, the gym can sometimes get busy but for the price you cant beat it.

Wow! Beautiful heated, indoor pool. $5 admission per person, including kids and babies. Admission includes a workout area and indoor track, too. Lots of programming for kids, including swim lessons and after school. You can also rent party rooms and classrooms. Its a beautiful new building.

Visited Atlanta, wanted to lap swim-- $5 per visit, 4 lanes (two slow, one medium, one fast lane). The water is a bit warmer than i am used to, but overall it was amazing. Highly recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this facility is tje fitness area with an indoor track and pool also enclosed outdoor workout areas... Very nice

I attended an event here and the staff was very helpful in assisting me with finding the right room. The bathrooms were clean and although other events were taking place at the same time, there was no extra noise coming from others areas. I enjoyed my visit.

This recreational center is a great addition to the community theres a huge pool and event space. There are lots of activities for children and senior citizens to sign up for and its such a nice establishment. The most diverse facility in the city. You can focus and concentrate without feeling uncomfortable no matter what, great place to train.

I am only giving this four stars because the place is clean and the staff were nice but they dont have a real weight room. Dumbbell ranging from 5 lbs to 70 lbs, some movable benches, and cardio machines. Think Planet Fitness. The basketball court looked nice and they have an inside track and a pool for kids. I guess I expected more.

Small gym but just enough for me...It keeps the gym at a certain level of training so I believe it keeps the number of people using it away. Its always quite and not crowded like the Y!

This is a fantastic public facility. A lot of activities. I recommend you visit.

Dirty showers consistently with sewer flys and I always see the same lifeguard on the phone. I believe the lifeguard name is Dashia. Black girl with braids and black heads on her face. Do not bring your children to this establishment. Nigel could manage this facility better especially the Aquatic Staff. The safety of my children are so much more important than a phone conversation to a friend.

This recreational center is the best. They have a pool, rock climbing wall which is only available Saturdays. A very nice basketball court which seems to be well maintained. They also have a gym and mini running track above the BB court. They also have outdoor ones which seem to look very nice. Cons : They are closed Sunday! Come on! That is about the only thing I can come up with.The membership is cheap in my opinion so dont hesitate to sign up! Youll love it

I cannot say enough about this place. Purple are courteous, friendly and helpful. I love coming here. I workout and feel really good when Im done. The pool isclean and warm enough in the winter and cool enough in the summer. I like that there are sprinklers for the kids to play in and that zero entry makes it accessible for those of us with mobility issues. I keep turning my friends on to this center. Its is so clean beautiful and well maintained. I used to go to the old King natatorium. I love this need one. Did I mention that I love it?

Excellent news space. Very clean and spacious. Very good for families and kids because they have a Zero Entry pool area. Adults can go workout if they want and the kids can go swimming. The locker rooms are spacious.

This place is built by one of my dads friends company. I feel like it gives children and place to gather and hang.

Great new facility. The pool is warm...a bit much for swimming laps. The locker room is nice...lockers have built-in locks. Did a spin class...that was a treat. Track and equipment area is incredible. Staff are friendly for the most part. Hoping it stays nice.

Wonderful facility with a baseball field and an outdoor picnic table area for enjoying your lunch or chatting with friends. There is an indoor basketball court and numerous other offices. It was very nice and the staff was marvelous; extremely helpful. Great for the teens.

An absolute hidden gem. The place is absolutely gorgeous! Reminds me of the community center back home when I was a kid. Wish there was one in more communities.

Just opened a month ago, beautiful facility with small heated lap pool, family pool, digital lockers, spin classes and weight/exercise room with padded walking track. Rock climbing wall (to open soon). This is also now serving as the senior center with a computer room, crafts, drama/poetry classes. Great addition to the neighborhood - $5 drop in or purchase yearly pass.

Very clean! The locker rooms are big and well kept. The pool is big and Ive never had a problem finding a spot to do laps. Just bought a yearly membership and Im looking forward to using the fitness center and walking track soon!

Great amenities and a huge pool! There are also bball courts and an upstairs area with additional court space. Everything is clean!The staff is friendly and helpful. Its a great community option.

Excellent facility, full gym, zero entry pool, raised walking/jogging path. Indoor basketball court, out door playing fields, super family friendly, cheap fees, couldnt ask for more from a rec center. Good job City of Atlanta, good job.

Great place to go. They offer inside pool, rock climbing wall, fitness room, Ktx fitness classes, and reservations if you want to throw a party or something. They also offer senior programming tell all of your friends!

Adult review: Great spacious facility. Family vibe. Adequate work-out area and rarely crowded. Beautiful, well-lit aquatics area with lap lanes. Parking can be full during peak times. Bike racks and bikeable from the beltline. Handy to 75/85 Edgewood access.Very affordable - especially for seniors.

This building is amazing. The staff members are awesome. The indoor track is nice with various lanes, the pool is big, bathrooms super clean and Nigel and the Rec staff is also amazing.

Provided there are no people parking in the lot for the recreation center to go other places, this facility is great and offers a lot of amenities and activities.

A beautiful, shiny new facility in OFW that offers a fresh exercise experience for City of Atlanta residents. It pays homage to the MLKing legacy of the old natatorium, with a high tech next level look & feel. It could compete with any general market gym, except the prices are much better!!
