For a classy and historical event space Rhodes Hall cant be beat. Affordable and easy rental coupled with a an attentive staff makes this beautiful space an excellent choice for weddings, receptions, and corporate events. I especially love what was done for the grounds and landscaping in 2017. Parking is a challenge for first time visitors, but still convenient once you figure out its off Spring Street. Make sure to tell your guests about this before they arrive.

My daughter is getting married here and since its a non profit organization she is paying a bare minimum fee for use of the place. Its gorgeous both inside and out and much more affordable for a young couple wanting something beautiful but not spending a complete fortune!

We just had our wedding at Rhodes Hall last weekend and are so happy we did! Chrystal and her staff were extremely easy to work with. She responded quickly to my emails and questions, and came up with great ideas when it came to planning our reception. We had a small guest list (about 35), and it was the perfect size! With not knowing how the weather would turn out, we planned to have everything inside. We had our bar in the den, dance floor/DJ in the main room, and seated guests in the library and parlor. My husband and I had our sweetheart table in the parlor, as well as our cake on the beautiful marble table. The weather turned out beautifully and we were able to open the front door so guests could mingle on the huge front porch. One of the reasons we chose RH is for the history and beautiful decor inside. We loved the fact we didnt have to do much to decorate for our reception. Also, we took advantage of going up the tower to have our pictures taken. What a view of the city!

This is a beautiful venue. Its reasonably priced too. The only reason we didnt use them is because we wanted an outdoor wedding and the road is pretty close to the front lawn. Perfect venue for an indoor wedding, though!

Beautiful history we cant find as much of anymore. Its constructed from Stone Mountains granite and is one of the few surviving grand historic mansions in Atlanta. The tour is well worth it.

Went there for a company evening event, and I was surprised and disappointed at how shabby and poorly organized it was.Let me elaborate. The outside and the grounds look immaculate and well maintained, but the inside is another story. The interior is best described as shabby, but kept clean. There are portraits of people, but almost no information placards about it or its past tenants. I wanted to know about the history of this particular Rhodes, but couldnt find info on the first floor, which was the only one open to us. I cant imagine this place being used for anything other than small events. Its straight up cramped and the bathrooms are for one person at a time.

We went to Rhodes hall for a wedding and I cant imagine a better place they could have had the wedding at. It is absolutely gorgeous with a castle like feel. Both indoors and outdoors are beautiful. Overall, the venue was the highlight of the wedding!

The perfect venue for anybody wanting an intimate and classy setting for a wedding in the heart of Atlanta! Chrystal & her team were very helpful and accommodating, and the natural beauty of the castle on Peachtree meant only minimal decorating was necessary. Very flexible and affordable, especially compared to similar venues in Atlanta. Dont forget to ask to climb the tower for a sunset picture with the Midtown skyline in the background.

Pretty spot I looked at for a wedding venue. Really nice until you notice some of the quirky details, like all the stained glass is civil war stained glass, and the murals are of beaches with palm trees. Still, if you can look past that the big picture is that its beautiful.

I got married at Rhodes Hall on April 12th of 2015. Everything about this place is amazing! Its beautiful both inside and outside, so the decorating I needed to do was minimal. The staff is also incredible! I loved working with Chrystal leading up to and on the day of the wedding. Everything was a blur for me but went off without a hitch! Its also very reasonable priced (for those considering this venue its a historical building so you can write it off in your taxes) and they let you bring your own alcohol! Best place to get married in Atlanta.

Im a docent at Rhodes Hall and work some of the events so I will say up front, I am somewhat biased. But I really cant recommend this place more highly for tours or for an event. If you enjoy history and old houses you have to take a tour. Usually every Saturday between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, tours are given on the hour. To plan an event you can look on line through the Georgia Trust website for contact information. Learn about one of the early shaker and mover of Atlanta. Check out the castle on Peachtree and see what a house built in 1904 looked like.

We made an appointment here to tour as a possible wedding venue option. To begin; parking across the street was a pain and we stood outside for about 10min in the cold before someone answered the door. It was far smaller than anticipated, not in the best of locations, and the history behind it is not exactly something to be proud of. The guide was nice but she wasnt very enthusiastic at all. Unless you are looking to book a small intimate (40 max though they can accommodate more people in separate rooms) event or a HUGE history enthusiast this place might be alright. If not I wouldnt waste your time.
