A lot to see here. We saw the new shark exhibit. Wished they had a guided tour to explain what we were seeing. There is a lot of written descriptions but it would have been nice to have someone live. We did the behind the seas tour which was great. Its about 30 minutes long and you go behind (on the other side) of the tanks and see where they feed the fish and how they keep replenishing the water that the fish swim in. Definitely worth the extra $15 for this tour. When trying to book it on their website it appeared as though the tour was sold out but make sure to click on the box with the tour time and a drop down will appear with other available times. For $35 my husband and I also got a cartoon sketch of ourselves in color. Takes about 15 minutes once you get in the chair. It came out great! Some real talented gentlemen doing this work. We prepaid for parking on the aquarium website. There is a special entrance for the prepaid parking. Just look for the signs that say prepaid parking as you approach the aquarium. We redeemed our prepaid parking at the exit because I wasnt able to redeem it at the kiosk because although its prepaid you still need a ticket to exit. There was an employee working at the garage exit and he was able to help us redeem our prepaid ticket. Turns out the reason I wasnt able to redeem the prepaid ticket at the kiosk was because my phone was in dark mode and the scanner couldnt scan my prepaid ticket from my phone.

To be able to have the opportunity to relax from ones own life, to briefly observe the movements, the daily regimens and livelihood of the underwater creatures, was simply rewarding! I was immediately engulfed by the scenery before even entering the Aquarium—which gave me a preview of what was in-store! I am glad I had the chance to visit the aquarium B.C. (before COVID)

Very educational place. Each habitat themed exhibit provides ample information for the visitors. They also have 3D shows but we didnt go in as we visited during the Pandemic. Maintaining social distance is left upto the visitors and most times once people are inside they really do not care. Especially, when it comes to photo opportunity, people are practically shoulder to shoulder. When you purchase your ticket online, you must select a time of the day when you want to visit...its the top of each hour. However, we arrived 15 mins late and it appeared that time we picked did not affect our entry with the long line of admissions. The whole aquarium took us a little over 2 hours with a 2yo toddler.

Great experience, not as big as I had imagined but very nice displays. Employees seemed happy and engaged visitors often, that’s usually the result of good culture. This place has some of the most astonishing nature & animal displays ever. The glass tunnel with the moving floor that takes you through their biggest tank is a must-see.This will probably make you think about how powerful and creative our Creator is.There’s a wide variety of exhibits. My six-year-old son who is fanatical about sharks absolutely loved exploring this underworld of hammerhead, tiger, sand and black-tip reef sharks! Wonderful aquarium. They have done a great job keeping the social distance guidelines, temp checks and ensuring proper safety. Although, the atmosphere is lax once inside in regards to social distancing(zero effort to prevent people from taking off masks). The experience within the Dolphin show was the best example of effort amid the pandemic for these guidelines. Exhibits were amazing, clean and safe for the animals. I was impressed to see the level of care to represent real-world habitats and maintain a wonderful equilibrium for all of the different species involved.

The aquarium was great! Lots to see and my kid loved it! All the exhibits were definitely something to see. I gave it three stars though because admission was by appointment time slots only but the Venue was overcrowded both inside and out. I assumed that time slot appointments were to mitigate that outcome. There were floor signs advising people of social distance spacing but because of the overcrowding people were not really able to maintain it. It was a scary considering what’s happening right now. Overall I loved the exhibits and highly recommend anyone who wants to visit but also ask the aquarium try harder to enforce and maintain the restrictions imposed to protect us.

All my life I have frequented aquariums in various states. I have always loved coming here when I was younger but in recent months I have dedicated time and energy to really researching and educating my self on aquariums and their impact on the quality of life for the animals inside. I am not saying we should outlaw aquariums but I would urge you to please do your research on a facility. There are a ton of articles and accredited sites that explain what different marine life needs and what aquariums are doing to them. I understand how pretty it all is from the outside , I agree , but I urge you to find out what else is going on here.

The various exhibits are well set up with lots of viewing space, and the GA has made partitions to ensure social distancing. However, the failure to enforce social distancing and letting in to many people lost them one of my stars. People walked into the partitions we occupied on several occasions, forcing us to leave prematurely. Be warned that if they are seriously selling less tickets for social distancing purposes that I would not want to see a regular aquarium day outside of the pandemic. It was packed and very crowded. People on top of one another. We bought our tickets in advance and had hoped to bypass a crowd as they stated that less tickets were being sold. I just cant imagine that based off what we saw. It was hard to get through it and enjoy it with that many people fighting to see everything. What I can say is that these people are complete MASK POLICE. They made sure everyone was wearing a mask properly and constantly were sanitizing. Employees were making rounds to spray all high trafficked railings and other frequently touched surfaces. As well as seeing hand sanitizer stations every so many feet. They were every entrance and exit and at every corner. The lady who worked the sting ray exhibit on Sunday (09/06/2020) was very rude and her demeanor made the exhibit uncomfortable for us and most guests that were surrounding us. Very unprofessional and wasnt friendly. It seemed like she enjoyed making people feel uncomfortable and embarrassing them and calling people out. We saw her do this to several people. Luckily we werent one of them. We witnessed it a final time and left the station as it made us feel very uncomfortable for everyone involved.

We saw everything in about five hours. We also ate lunch at the aquarium. The food was terrible when I went as a kid, and it has improved. As far as COVID-19 safety precautions, the aquarium is doing its best. There are spots on the floor marked off 6 ft. apart, but not everyone adhered to these guidelines. The Ocean Voyager habitat had plexiglass barriers in front of the acrylic, so you could wait your turn to get a spot for optimal viewing. I was disappointed to see how many people were not adhering to social distancing guidelines, but there was nothing the aquarium could do to prevent that.

Staggered parking and temperature screenings upon entering. Crowded in the popular exhibits despite efforts to maintain spacing. Concessions available. Great new interactive area for kids with games etc. and you can peek behind the scenes at the whale sharks. Dolphin show needs a more engaging story and/or host. One touch pool still open with stingrays and starfish.

Americas biggest aquarium? Oh definitely This place is huge. Such a range of species on exhibit - Its not even funny. If you want to capture the worlds marine flora and fauna in one snapshot, then run through this Aquarium in Georgia. They have it all - Sting Rays children can play with; Walk through under water; Big glass halls that look onto some fascinating Tiger Sharks even as you look for that Great White..! What an experience this place!

We visited the aquarium for our anniversary. We were some of the first guests to see Sharks! The employees were friendly and went above and beyond for us. We wanted to do the Behind the Seas tour but only 1 spot was available. The employee we spoke to had the tour manager come talk to us and he ended up opening another spot so we were able to take the tour. The free dolphin show was fantastic. We went twice and both shows were different. The only drawbacks were the size of the sea lion habitat and the gift shop. The gift shop needs more variety of merchandise and bigger sizes of shirts.

I really enjoyed our visit here! Tickets & gift shop items are fairly & reasonably priced. Most of the staff was friendly & accommodating.

Dont bother. It was incredibly overpriced, over hyped, and extremely packed. The exhibits were small, and there were so many people we couldnt see anything. Despite the pandemic, there were no limits on people in the exhibits, and social distancing was not enforced. Honestly, I wouldnt even want to come when there wasnt a pandemic. Chattanooga aquarium is so much better in every way.

Amazing!!! You can spend the entire day in there. The dolphins show is great... a lot of fun and a lot of information to learn.
