This park is obviously by the lake, .. and its great for photography.in fact my wife is a professional photographer was testing out a few new Nikon lenses. While she was snapping pictures of the birds across the lake, there were 3 other photo shoots going on at the same time. Its a wonderful place because the lake and trees make a perfect background for photography.Im sure you could manage to have a picnic at the many tables around the park. Its a really nice park. ... Take a walk .. bring your camera.

Attended a socially distancing outdoor wedding that was simply beautiful. The weather was perfect and the lake made a wonderful backdrop.

Very nice little park. Ate lunch there and found it serene.

They need to empty the trash cans more frequently. Raccoons tear them apart. There’s also no parking- so you will have to park in the street. Be careful when getting out of your car. People like to take off fast from the stop sign, I’ve almost been hit multiple times.

Beautiful scenery. Open area with some grills and a nice view of the lake.

Its a good place to let your dog use the bathroom but the water it sits beside is man-made and 2 foot deep usless to fish

Nice waterfront park. On a windy Side shore day you can rig and windsurf here but diffcult too kite. Too many trees.

Beautiful spot! Quiet, nature filled park. We had some family photos done and it couldnt have turned out better.

Its quite and can sit by the water or at picnic tables or benches.

Peaceful place to chill. Sometimes its empty, but usually theres some people there. There are picnic tables, barbecue grills, and paved walkways. Great place to launch your kayak. The park is well maintained. The only parking is on the street.

Its not really a park, but it has a few picnick tables and charcoal grills. There is a lot of space if you have kids and they want to play. There are also benches that are along the lake if you want to fish or just watch. You can also launch your canoe or kayaks here as well.

No parking but on road, smallish park, however very picturesque and breeze is always coming off the water. Nice place for respite and a little decompression. Bring a picnic!

Nice park. The arrangements for parking vehicles nearby is unusual but street parking is available. Lots of people park on the curb (pull up onto it, there is an exposed area) just across the street. This is acceptable and legal and a good tip when visiting. The park itself is very nice with ample seating, water views, green areas and water ways. There is not as much shade as youd expect but this is still a great place to go and relax or even work for breif periods on a laptop. There is no nearby power or WiFi so make sure you are mobile if you want to work outside.
