The movie was good and the theater was very safe. Masks work except in seats. Everyone was seated far apart. Very well done. Very safe. It was do nice to get back to some kind of normal in a safe venue. The new concession area is beautiful and now you can eat concessions as well as drink beverages in the theater seats! YAY!

Free admission. I guess it isnt always open for tours. We just happened to stumble on it when a Disney cruise ship was in town. They did a great job preserving it.

Great music from 45th parallel! And the venue will be beautiful when the renovation is complete. The reception after the concert was unexpected with treats and a high school jazz trio. So much fun!

You just can not find the old school craftsmanship that is found throughout this theater! My wife and I had the privilege of reviewing a local made movie that was absolutely worth seeing again, in any venue.

I have seen several concerts here and have to say this is one of my favorite venues. To start with it is right near several great restaurants and has doors open usually around 7, time to enjiy a meal. The snack bar is limited but inexpensive so thats a nice break. Seats are comfortable and all offer good views of stage. Capacity is around 700 so definitely an intimate setting.

I saw a phenomenal trio this evening. It was a whim. A friend from Vancouver Wa invited me and I didnt even know this was happening 17 miles away from Seaside. I will be checking the schedule from now on. The theater is beautiful, nostalgic, like stepping back in time or traveling to Europe or a very old American city. You only see this sort of architecture in the earliest developements of this country. Incredible to have this theater, cultural opportunities in this area.

The Tacoma Opera presented Carmen. A very wonderful experience from the first sight of the Liberty to the last. A magical experience in time travel as you are surrounded by the decore of a previous time. Well apportioned and decorative facades embrace in a warmth of atmosphere, even as the loving community that maintains and operates the Theater brings wonderful performances to the small Oregon Coast town of Astoria.

I just see it as a very disorganized area when wanting some good concerts. I was just there for my sisters choir concert and just the seating was just a mess...

Da
Review №51

There is seldom anything of interest presented here, which is to say its empty a huge proportion of the time. They sometimes have a program of classic films, which they show on a small screen in front of the stage, with a DVD projector -- not really a good cinematic experience, considering the opulence of the surroundings. The restoration job is lovely, but the staff acts as though you are in some kind of a museum rather than a vital, lively theater.
