Big playground and a splash pad. Great place for the kids in the summer. It can be a bit crowded at times, but people go to nice places.

Playground is unique the ladders the kids climb are designed like DNA instead of just a straight line. The park has a basketball court, splash pad, pavilion, and beach style volleyball court. Place has bathroom facilities as clean as can be expected. It also has a large field where I have seen yoga and kids playing soccer. Overall a fun park nice place to visit in Ashland.

Lovely little local park. Can walk your dog, play volleyball. The best feature is the little waterpark for kids. Running around under giant flower sculptures that spout water is super fun for them.

Great spot to see the fireworks on July 4th. I wish the park was a little higher and not by such a busy intersection and Id come here more often.

Nice grass. Water park, basketball court, playground, and volley ball courts are great. It was clean and has nice covered sitting ares.

It felt Great to be outside, to get the grandkids outside, to see other children enjoying the water feature, or familys enjoying the covered picnic tables. BEAUTIFUL PARK!!

This park was tested with a two and one half year old human boy. The child reported high entertainment value, especially regarding the playground equipment, swings, and sandbox.

The water park is a great feature and this park.is usually clean and well maintained. I like that the homeless dont hang out here too much, it makes this park feel safer.

Water Park was awesome. Kids area with swings and slides were dangerously hot. The slides especially. They need to put up sun shades!

There are many picnic tables, a nice, big, open field, and a waterpark. Plus a play structure thats super fun, even for parents or big kids. If youre looking for a fun and free place to take the family Garfield park is the way to go

There is not much to the park and it can get overcrowded. The best time is when the water park is open

We love this park! The kids water play area is free but seasonal. This park has bathrooms, water fountains, tables, volleyball courts, a large grassy area, garbage cans and some shade. There’s a few parking spots available but mostly street parking. They playground is newer and well cared for. There’s swing sets and a small sandbox. This park always seems to be family friendly.

Fun park, there were kids unsupervised that were getting in the sand and then on the splash pad.

We came with family and granddaughter to use the splash pad. Its a great place on a hot day for the smaller children to get wet in a safe way. Grandparents and others used lawn sprinklers to accomplish the same result, but this is definitely a nice step up for a colorful place to cool off on a hot day. There is plenty of play equipment and shade trees to make for a very nice day.

I liked the splash pad it was newly remodeled the kids loved it and the sand in the volleyball area.

Nice! Awesome sand volleyball court-good as it gets with a tight and professional net. Large grassy area. Cool splash pad for the kids. Outdoor basketball court (not regulation, but baskets are the right height). Clean bathrooms. Views of Grizzley. Plenty of space. The only non-5s are the proximity to roads (not that big of deal because the place is 300 X 300 minimum) and the trees are still a little small so bring your own shade just in case. But it is a great city park and youll see a bunch of smiling kids and even adults!

Nive park with lots of open space. Parks really utilized the space well. Nice sandy volleyball area and a sand box as well. A pretty cool splash park and a big playground to go with it. A favorite for my family. Lots of grass amd wuite a few trees to sit under.

Great dog park with a sand pit for digging. Its on a hill so its good exercise and theres a nice little river walk and tennis courts nearby.

I had never been to this park until recently. I heard it had a nice little spray park for kids. It was pretty dinky and the playground didnt seem very well maintained. However, there was a sign up that said that they are working on renovations starting Fall 2017, so once they complete the work, maybe it will be more of a 4-5 start park.

Great small town park, perfect for walking the doggies (on a leash) or hang out for a picnic in the summer. The water park utterly amazing for the little ones, from time to time you can run through the water falls too.

It used to be better with a more interactive experience. It is still a nice park, though they have re-created the splash pad and geared it for younger kids - the little bit older ones would be too bored with it.

Garfield Park is a beautiful little park almost in the center of Ashland. I grew up at that park playing the big volleyball pit, on the play set and in the splash park. Its probably the best park in Ashland for kids simply because of all the activities you can have them do in one place.

Great water park for kids when its hot, and a great playground area too. Plenty of flat grass for frisbee, playing football, soccer, etc. Theres a sand pit with two volleyball nets, and two basketball courts. Drinking fountain and restrooms on premises.
