The shows have always been excellent, the venues are very clean and all the workers are very nice and friendly. I especially like the black swan as it has a very personal feel to it being so up close and personal with the actors and actresses. Would highly recommend these plays to anyone traveling through Ashland or southern Oregon.

Had a very enjoyable evening watching “All’s well that ends well.” They do a great job of presenting a modern interpretation of the play while staying true to the original language. These are not stuffy stiff performances. One thing we didn’t realize at first is that the theater is open air. So be sure to bring a jacket to stay warm.

My daughter and I drove up from Sacramento to see Alls Well That Ends Well. The Allen Elizabethan theatre was amazing! The play was three hours, and all with Ashlands perfect quirkiness. I recently saw Macbeth at the Allen Elizabethan theater. This is OSF outdoor theater, and what an amazing experience it was to look up and see the stars. The sound was great, The stage was beautiful, the actors were well rehearsed and full of passion, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere took you to a different century. If you happen to see a play here during the fall make sure to bring a bundle up and bring a blanket. 100% must experience a play at OSF. If you are just passing through, go!!! As always, wonderful trip to OSF! We saw Othello, Lovess Labors Lost, and Book of Will. Had tickets for Romeo and Juliet, but due to the Southern Oregon wildfires, that performance was cancelled due to the smoke and poor air quality. But the shows, as always were great. Some werent hit with me, but I know it could have been an off night for an actor, or the style just isnt my cup of tea. None the less, standing ovation for every performance we saw, and well worthy of high praise.

Top Broadway quality theater in a small town in southern Oregon. We just saw Octavio Soliss Mother Road. A new piece, inspired by Steinbecks Grapes Of Wrath, it was set in contemporary America, touched on issues including racism, violence against women, LGBTQ issues, poverty and more, with a generous seasoning of the Hispanic experience. Great show, well acted with a versatile set and a theater with no bad seats.

Our class will not be coming back. The plays have gone downhill the last couple of years. Very liberal agenda and not kid friendly anymore. Horrible. Not the traditional Shakespeare we know and love. This years production of Othello is a must see. It will move you through and through and you will leave the theatre deeply affected. Then Henry V is also excellent and is performed in the newest theatre which has audience on three side. This theatre is more intimate and the production values of Henry V are excellent and very engaging. I always love going to see plays in Ashland as finally you can hear and understand every word of Shakespeare!

Love this Event, they need financial help. If you can spare some extra money please send it here. The fire smoke has really had a terrible effect financially. If your close come see a play to help support the arts. There are many local people behind the scenes who depend on these plays to support their family. The prices we paid this year were from $35 to $85. We had 1 day with only 1 show planned, we stopped by the OSF office to see if they had rush tickets, we were blessed to add Oklahoma for $40.00. If you plan a few weeks in advance you can get good deals on hotels as well. We went to some of the local motels to look at their rooms, we were quoted $80 - $220 for a room on the day we were looking at them, this was a Wednesday, many had availability for Wed & Thurs. I hope this helps you plan your trip here. I come every year with a girlfriend, we cant wait for next year, we will spend a little over a week to see them all.

Ashland is a nice town, with lots of fun shops and restaurants to pass the time in before seeing your next play.
