Great venue. Good food on-site and good beer selection. Love this place. Everyone super nice that works there. Lots of recycling bins nearby. Highly recommend

I have been wanting to hear live music for months. I would not try it in the Charleston area where we now live.Ashville is much more respectful, so I thought it might be worth a try.They were very clear about masks and distancing.Seated areas were well distanced and clearly marked.I did feel for the band not having a big crowd, but thats just how it is right now.We had fun and loved the atmosphere

This place is my favorite venue in Asheville to see live music, and under the pandemic they’re doing a great job keeping protocols in place and people safe. It’s a huge outdoor space on the river. Food is great, run by the folks from Root Down food truck. And whoever said this place is different from last year and that it sucks is out of their mind. It’s great and of course it’s different from last year: it’s called pandemic times.

Awesome area. Great music and the food is unbelievably good! Get a chicken sando and butter beans. Prices were extremely reasonable for the venue. Will be back!

Wide selection of beer and a great spot to see a live band. The outdoor venue is so much bigger than youd expect. My kids school had an arts event here and it was such an awesome time. The drama students were performing on stage and the visual arts students had artwork covering the walls. So cool that the school and the Savage Station partnered for this.

One of the most unique venues Ive been to. I love live music and if I lived close I would be here EVERY weekend. Good food, good drinks, good music.

My husband sang in a show a few months ago, and I was his traveling sidekick. Salvage Station is an impressive concept. Its simply a fun hang out spot.There is a large outdoor space with plenty of open areas, picnic benches, bar and stool areas, high top tables, hammock area, games, and it backs up to the river. Kiddos and parents would have a good time grabbing a bite to eat during the day. This isnt a place Id wear heels because there is a lot of gravel.The indoor area has plenty of space, but it could use more seating for those that have no interest in standing for hours. It would be nice to add some benches along the walls, or even some couches. That would make it a 5 star place.The bartender made a good drink, but his attitude was a huge turnoff. Nobody wants to deal with an arrogant vibe at such a chill place. The food truck people had great and helpful attitudes. The BBQ pork nachos were easily some of the best Ive had. They were huge, and I could only eat half of them.I agree with some of the other reviews, that the security is a little overboard for this venue, but they didnt cause any problems when I was there.Overall, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try, and if its your first time you might appreciate waiting for good weather to get the full impact.

One of my favorite venues in Asheville. Brings in amazing artists. Right on the French Broad, with a beautiful outdoor stage and lawn. Yummy food truck. Only downside, security can be a little intense.

I had a great time here last night, fat Tuesday, my first night here. Good fun music, great dance floor, great selection of tasty and healthy food on the menu, good drinks, family friendly, and very very nice people! What more is there to say! Other than I will be back!

This place has great food and great beer! Stopped here on the way to play Richmond Hill DGC and couldnt have been happier. The boudin balls are incredible! Thanks for the great hospitality and chill atmosphere!

We went to see Squirrel Nut Zippers and it was the best concert I have ever been to.Unfortunately, the service was terrible. The girl at the ticket booth was VERY RUDE and we almost didnt get tickets because of her. The staff could go through some customer service training. It would be 1 star if it wasnt for the band. They made everything better, but you cant run a business on that.

We love this place! Quirky as hell and fun! Great venue fir shows and fantastic food for the setting. I certainly reccomend it.

Cool hangout place. We went on a Saturday evening to eat. Their food truck had a few cool options I wouldnt expect to find on a truck, it was very tasty, you did have to buy a drink from the bar, which is about 15-20 yards away. Theres picnic table seating with covers, and a bar. If we wanted to stay longer for the show it wouldve been a $20 cover per person. The one thing I appreciated was they allow all ages. We went to another spot and they didnt allow anyone under 21. **Ladies: Wear shoes that you dont mind getting dusty. Theres a lot of gravel and dirt.**

Super fun venue to see a show. Inside is fun and outside is better. Lots of happy and high people. Plenty of open bars to get a drink quickly. Serve liquor and food. Easy to uber to and from and easy to park but its a walk to get there from parking.

Ive been here a couple times both were pretty awesome. Lots of space, inside and out. Great food and always music. Most of the time its free to get in too.

Great place for bands coming through. Had to drop a star because every time I come here the beer is served in plastic. Maybe it goes hand in hand with events but it’s always hard to see all that plastic waste.

Enjoyed a concert inside recently and had a great time. An easy Uber but there is ample parking. Great bartenders, fun atmosphere and there was a bonfire going which was the icing on the cake.

Great open air atmosphere. Big space for dancing. Nice food options. Would love to see more shows here!

Had a GREAT time at the Squirrel Nut Zippers show. The bartenders get the job done. Well be back to experience the outdoor venue when its warmer.

We saw Micheal Franti ( my 6th time)! The venue sits right on the river amongst mature trees but right in Asheville! Beautiful night spent jumping, dancing, and singing with a bunch of loving, peaceful folks. There were plenty of food trucks, bar trucks, and people to watch!

Coolest venue I have been to for live music in a LONG time!! Great set up, inside and out and great food and beverage choices! Cant wait to go back!

A really cool place, wish they did more burlesque and live performance art stuff cause it would be really cool in the space! Love how big and private the space can feel. Totally cool for like, really big get togethers since theres so much space.

Went there for a rehearsal and wedding for a dear friend. Reception was also there. Staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful. Great venue and lovely view of the french broad.

Nice space for the Battle of the Burger event. VIP area very nice. Great Bar area. Clean restrooms. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Saw the awesome reviews and came by to try. The place itself is cool but food sucks! I could imagine how uninterested the cook is when I took the first bite. Moreover, feels like frozen food thrown into an oven/Microwave/deep fryer. Will not recommend! I was really hoping for some awesome southern food.

Great place. Good pulled pork burger w/plantains. Music on weekends. Very unique atmosphere.

We tried the Cuban sandwich and the pulled pork tacos! The Cuban was the best one Ive ever had. The house relish on it made it perfect! The tacos were big, the slaw delicious, and the pork was cooked perfectly! The bartenders were making us awesome cocktails to go with the awesome food. Definitely we will be back. Plus had a live band for entertainment!

Killer venue with tons of room for activities. they have a great draft selection as well as more goodies available in cans. Draft cocktails, full liquor bar and a nice food menu are also available. Next time you hear of a concert there... You should definitely go!

Great place good music beer and food

We stopped here briefly for a drink and the end of a local bands set. I really wish we could have come for a bit longer, as the venue and surrounding yard was gorgeous and beautifully maintained. Plenty of free space to walk and enjoy the river view, a spacious indoor stage area, and lots of unique decor created a very welcoming and unique atmosphere.My wife ordered the local Mead drink with a fruit flavor, our only experience with the places offerings, but based on that, we would highly recommend. My wife claims that it was hands down the best drink she has ever had. Superb.Hopefully we get a chance to come again. Until then, do it for us and give this place some much deserved business!

Food here was so good! Vegan and vegetarian friendly. Awesome outdoor sitting areas.

Smaller venue, GREAT sound. We got right up front, got some great pictures, and got a really intimate feeling experience with the band.

I saw Bernie rally here and it was s really great experience. The venue is perfectly sized and right by the river!

We were surprised by the great food, drink prices and easy access to the stage. Plenty of room to mingle and large enough for privacy if desired. Well go back. BHT put on a very good show.

They have cool vendors for a lot of the shows. Lots of different bars to help with lines. A great location along the river. Check out the hand blown glass !

I dont know what happened to this place. Used to be a super chill concert venue and hang out. Now its a more uptight event space.Went to test the award winner burger. Was very disappointed. Not much better than your average fast food place. There are a ton of places better than this in town. The fact that the won the best burger contest, as well as hosted it, raises some suspicion since it was so bad.Furthermore, the service was very unfriendly. I havent experienced that cold of service in Asheville until today.Maybe it was a bad night for them? I dont know. But I wont be going back for just a hang and food.

What a great place! Unique with TONS of space for kids to play and run. Beer, music and fun. Also there is American style food available. Tasty fresh and fun. Craft beers and full bar with liquor. This is a Music venue that has it all ! Fun for all !

Love the venue and the staff, but disappointed in the decision to put trivia on hold during the winter. What else is there to do then? Poor decision by someone!

Salvage station can often be awesome, but they seem to be catering to the concert set more often these days. $6 beers and letting people smoke pretty much in their building is enough to feel like its time to find another place to hang with friends and kiddos. There have been plenty of five star time here dont get me wrong. $1 off beers on Weds though!

Amazing food and beer on a great lot full of hammocks and good vibes. Access to the river is available if you would like you take a dip. Highly recommend the wings, impeached sliders, or perky turkey sandwich.

The staff is hit or miss here. If youre a woman the female bartenders will serve you with plastic cups but the male staff will treat you like an adult and give you glassware. Great venue for music and the riverside aspect never hurts.

Great place to bring kids in afternoons. Friend had sons birthday party on a Sunday and it was great nice big open area in the back. People playing frisbee and other things. Great food and beer.

We arrived thinking it was a restaurant that our child could run around out side of, its definitely a beer garden with a limited menu. A really nice one though, we just werent for drinks so it was a little disappointing. Next time were in town Id like to change that.
