In December 2018 my friend had this insane idea to take a Beginning Aerial Arts class at Empyrean. Im so grateful she did! its the hardest best thing Ive ever done! I do not enjoy exercise but I learned that aerial arts works ALL your muscles! including your brain! Im deeply grateful for the instructors at Empyrean as they are supportive and encouraging! They also push when you need it! Then theres my fellow students an amazingly strong supportive bunch! Its a supportive environment and for that I am grateful! Ive developed new skills, new muscles, and a love of aerial arts. I dub it my middle age circus! i look forward to each and every class! My thanks to all the instructors and my classmates! I cant imagine going anywhere else! If youve thought about taking a class... JUST DO IT ALREADY! ITS AWESOME

I feel so at home and have found my passion in pole and the kind and open people that I’ve met here and taken class with and from.Always great experience at any level of skill and such a fun way to exercise. Take a class here it is LIFE CHANGING! I am almost at my 4th straight year and cant get enough. The people and instructors are amazing, supportive and encouraging. Take any class and you will be hooked.

Empyrean is amazing! I was slow to get started but now Im hooked on their pole classes. And every teacher is wonderful! They are so great at making you feel comfortable, have fun, and they make sure you are always learning something new!

I love this place! Took my first pole class during the grand opening in 2015 and have been here at least twice a week ever since!!!! Ive gained a new sense of empowerment, confidence and pride in myself and have fallen in love with the community at the studio. I also love how inclusive this group is! I dont care if youve been coming since day 1 or if its your first time in class - you are welcomed and encouraged!!! I always leave feeling awesome and I tell everyone I know that they need to come take classes. Beautiful space, beautiful people. If you are hesitating, just do it!!!!! You wont regret it!!!!!!

I love this place! The instructors are awesome... very friendly and knowledgeable professionals. There is great class variety and an overall fun atmosphere. I like the class formats with adequate warmup and stretching time and a nice focus on fitness sustainability.

I love Empyrean Arts!! All the instructors are so friendly, helpful, and professional. I did not like going to the gym, but since I started going to empyrean I look toward going to workout. Loving the idea of working out while having fun. Empyrean its not a traditional gym, its a gym on steroids you will get the most amazing workout while doing silks, Lyra, hoop, contortion, pole and so much more.

I have always wanted to try an intro to pole class and i finally came up with the courage to do so, i took my first class with sam, who is fantastic and so good with beginners, everyone here goes out of their way to make sure you have a great experience, i will definately be back

Im learning Lyra, as well as intermediate Pole Dance at Empyrean and the experience is blowing my mind! The instructors are competent, the studio is clean and bright, and the community is friendly and open. Im not only learning to be a more badass version of myself while upside down and in the air, Im making new friends and having a blast.(Full disclosure: I teach beginner Pole Dance at Empyrean...and yall should come to that class if youre just starting out! We have a great time :)

Clear, safe, fun instruction! Waverly is a fantastic instructor and beautiful and creative aerialist. She manages her classes impeccably, giving all her students the attention and encouragement they need and deserve. If you have the opportunity to take a class at Empyrean or with Waverly, definitely dont pass it up!

Beautiful serene studio. The best equipment. Welcoming staff. Waverly is an amazing and encouraging teacher. Private lessons are a good option for people with crazy schedules such as myself.

WOW! What an amazing movement arts studio to come to WNC! This place has the best atmosphere, cleanliness, and of course professional instructors of any studio Ive been to in the South East. Whether youre traveling through or live near Asheville, Empyrean Arts is definitely worth a visit!

We had a bachelorette party today and did the aerial arts class! No one had any experience, but we were all able to do some awesome moves on the hoops and silks. Thank you to our instructor, Waverly! Everyone, including the bride (yay!), wants to come back again. I would recommend to anyone looking for party ideas in Asheville.

I could never quite maintain a workout routine to keep myself in shape because as we all know if we dont like the workout it is 10 times harder to get yourself to do it! It is so different here, I was hooked since my first class. It has been almost a year since I joined this studio and Im still loving every minute of it. It is not just a workout, you actually learn new skills (talk about crowd pleaser like being able to straddle up, knee hang, toe hang etc. -- mad skills!) while getting insanely strong and meet new friends because everyone that goes here makes you feel welcomed and encouraged. Its a beautiful studio with a bunch of talented instructors, I only take Lyra, Silks and Trapeze so I cant speak for the pole and dance instructors, although Im sure they are all amazing because I have only heard good things! Big shoutout to Waverly, Heather, Jessica, Jen and Laura Marie! Come and get stronger while having fun! It is also a huge bonus that every instructor has some killer playlist!
