LOVED my tour here. Kathy, the curator led our private tour. Her knowledge and passion make it impossible to not find yourself enthralled. The fun bookstore attached is an added bonus. We picked a souvenir mug modeled after a cauldron with an amazing story on display in the collection. Perfect token of an incredible visit. If you are hanging out in Asbury Park definitely make some time to come for a tour.

One of the must see if youre into these things. I was impressed with the way they guide us throughout while telling stories behind the haunted relics (that would surely give you goosebumps). Curtains were also good for me since I have a problem focusing on just one once I got to see the entire area haha

Awesome museum on the second floor with really interesting stories to go with each artifact. Historical artifacts such as Pres. Lincolns life mask and Confederate Generals death mask. However, haunted artifacts really make the tour special. Scary, haunted dolls are my favorite! First floor has so many books and items all concerning the paranormal, you dont know where to start! Candles, incense, sage, pendulums, Ohhhh my!! So much fun!

Went here last month with my friend and we did a walk in tour without making a reservation since it was a slow Thursday afternoon. Our tour guide TJ was very humorous and knowledgeable. His storytelling was captivating it almost felt like we were in the story. A lot of the artifacts in this museum are relevant to both Asbury Park/New Jersey and some other famous American paranormal artifacts. They also have artifacts from various different creeds from Christianity to Voodoo. In addition, the Paranormal Museum has some very ambitious plans for 2020, they are in the works of expanding their museum AND creating an escape room!Thank you TJ and Lisa for creating a very immersive experience! We will be coming again!

The Paranormal Museum is an impressive collection of haunted relics and amazing stories to give you chills down your spine. There so much history packed into this museum you’ll be telling all of your friends and family to visit ASAP. The guided tours have the best storytellers to share all of the best stories and experiences. If you’re in the museum long enough you just have a paranormal experience of your own. Highly recommend!

The guided tour of the museum surpassed my expectations. The guide was knowledgeable on the varying subjects and was super fun. I love the Ouija board collection and the real prison door. You have to go and check out the singing couch!

I have attended two special events at the museum and browsed the exhibits a couple of other times. Its a must-see during my Asbury Park visits because of its quirky selection of dark history. You dont even need to be much of a ghost fan to appreciate some of the stuff here.

A hidden gem at the gem by the sea. A perfectly curated museum of everything that goes bump in the night. The owner and staff are friendly and knowledgeable of all things related to hauntings and the occult. They even told us about special events they hold!

Not exactly what I was expecting. We went in there thatll be a little bit new and fun to check out but it seemed to be just a bunch of older people walking around in a lot of trying to sell books about the occult.
