I shouldve known better. The beach was just way too busy. Nobody was social distancing. High percentage of people werent wearing masks. And you have to pay to sit on a beach?? What?? I was not pleased.
Really fun splash park. Convenient that its on the boardwalk. Lots of different splash/ fountains options. They have chairs but not many shade options so if you need shade bring an umbrella. They have a few umbrella stands. Somewhat pricey but great for young kids. Also easy access to restrooms. They also offer kids party packages
What an awesome thing to have on the Beach! We spent the entire day here. The kids got to play while I could just tan and enjoy watching them having a blast! It was clean and the staff were awesome! We bought a day pass and went from here to the beach playground and back all day! Make sure you check out Groupon they usually have a family package entry for half the price!
This is perfect for babies to toddlers. As a parent even I enjoyed it. You can give a little cooler for drinks and snacks. You can come in and out without getting charged a second time. You can purchase ice cream from the inside of the park. Best of all, theres no pool. So kids can run and play with the water as they wish.
I am giving this place 4 stars. It was definitely a nice way for us and the children to cool off and get away from the annoyingly hot sand on the beach. However it was pricey to get in. 10$ per child and 5$ for adults is a bit much on top of what you already spend at the beach. They also did not have enough chairs there so I ended up sitting on the hot concrete.
Nice beach!!! Great place to go with children. But night time is only for grownups. It has a small water sprinkles park on Ave 2 that is open until 7pm, children and family can go in for a price. There is a playgroung, restaurants, bars, arcade and a crepe place where you can get sweet and savory crepes...
Nice, clean beach. Nice board walk. Close proximity parking. Dropoff points so you dont have to carry the cooler all the way from the parking lot. Pay admission via app and skip the line for the bracelets. No glass bottles. Plenty of space for everyone. The waves could get aggressive at times. The water is cold but refreshing.
Good place, but it can be redundant after a while and too many parents dont bother keeping an eye on their kids at all. The coolest part is the big splash bucket which unleashes a torrent of water roughly every 4.5 minutes.
Nearby places have more interactive water toys so the kids are calmer. As a result of nothing but dripping water the kids here are wilder, watched 2 young children get knocked over. And its at a premium price.
This past Friday July 26, we walked there from Ocean Grove beach with the understanding that each child ticket price is 3 dollars. It turns out 12 each and that I would have to pay a ticket for myself, despite I didnt wish to and my children are a bit older now. So that would ve been 29-30 dollars! Insane! Pathetic!Thank goodness the Asbury beach badge is far more reasonable for 5 dollars.
Great place to let your kids hangout while you sit and watch them on the lounge chairs provided. Also for kids who hate getting everywhere but love playing with water. The entrance to the place is odd, in through the store.
A typical Jersey shore atmosphere. Good for young children and toddlers. It gets very crowded. Last time we visited not every water game worked
Obviously during the very cold months it wasnt operating however looks well maintained. Friends have told me its really nice during the on season.
There is not much to do even for kids. This is a tiny place. The pictures make it look bigger than it is. It is not worth the price even with Groupon. Better to go straight to the beach. The rest rooms dont have child diaper changing stations. We had to change our kids wet diapers by holding her in the hands.
Several non functioning things. Not super clean. Nice location and easy to get to.
Fun, and cheap place to take kids. Only downside was trying to find parking. It took 45 minutes to find a parking spot, and you have to pay for parking.
Fun place for kids. Alternative to beach. Could use more chairsNd shaded areas for parents
My first time being in Jersey, such a fun place to go! The beach is beautiful!
We took our kids and had so much fun. Very family friendly
Good landscape
Expensive 10 per kid 5 per adult. Chairs available but people hoard chairs put towels on them so nobody else can use them. Very little shade. And all the chair hoarders occupy the shade. Sad. Big faucet was broken when we were there. Nice locale to be near beach though.
Clean and beautiful place to swim. Street parking $2 per hour, other parking $20 and entry $5 per person on weekdays.
This is our go to beach in summer it has good board walk with restaurants and bar place for kids to play and also splash park for kids to have fun.
Lets get wet
I had my son’s second birthday party there and it was wonderful! The staff was friendly and helpful. The kids enjoyed the water and variety of sprinklers and various shooters on the ground. I would highly recommend this place to anyone with kids!!
Is opening tomorrow
Not worth the money even after groupon discount..best it can be used to cleanup in the splash after u return from the beach..
This place has a perfect location and it really is fun for kids. However, the owners or management company must be inconsiderate, lax, and lazy. This is a popular splash park with no risk of losing business. It wouldnt be hard to make sure the facilities were updated and well maintained. Small things matter when you are encouraging customers to have a good time with their children. Unfortunately the bathrooms are filthy - when we visited the showers had curtains that were dark with mold and grime. Why have showers if you keep them in that state? The shaded areas are minimal, so families have to crowd beneath them or scramble for one of the few umbrellas that are there. How difficult would it be to put up some structured shading, or provide an adequate amount of umbrellas? There were staff members cleaning up while we visited, but they pretty much made a minimal effort. It really is a shame - whoever runs this place lacks the foresight to dedicate thought and energy toward maintaining a pristine splash park on a popular boardwalk. Theyll never lose customers because kids are easy to please and its right on the beach, but this place could be so much better.
Looks like good clean fun. Wonderful for kids,,!(all ages..)
It was great for my 3yr old, gated in dont have to worry that she wonders off or gets out, as suppose to the beach is all open & the water obviously isnt suitable for babies. I loved it...
I love this place but it was closed for off season
Love the bord walk, activities and the fact that the beach is closer and clean
Pretty good place. My two-year-old loved it but 4-year-old wasnt thrilled (I think it was more of a water-tolerance thing than an age thing though). Its a good alternative if kids get bored of the beach, and a good way to get rid of the sand before the ride home. Im sure well go again.
Thank you for being flexible and super awesome. The crew here is great, I threw a 4 years olds birthday party here and it was really well. The pricing is affordable and we had a great time. Thanks again to the staff for following up and making sure everything went well.
Great prize using Groupon and great customer service. My kids loved the place and mom that is 80 years old loved it. My mom want to come back to enjoy the clean waterpark. Just need a little attention in the bathrooms.
Very lovely day. The food was good.
Could do more with whats there, but its easy and fun
Great Place for kids!! Tons of fun, just a few feet from the beach & food
Love the Asbury Splash Park!!! Perfect spot when you need to get the little ones off the beach for a bit!!!
All the beautiful people and enjoyable. I wish they had rides like yester year
Great place for little kids to run around and have fun in the water. However the bathrooms were atrocious.
Family swim date with all of my babys n my first great grand she be here the 20th
Its clean and fun my son had a blast
This place is not paying a dime for. There are 4 or 5 water apparatuses. They are just spread out so the advertisement picture looks big. I came here because someone purchased a groupon for the kids. Ive been to many spray parks which are all FREE. THIS PLACE CHARGES 12 BUCKS EACH....FOR KIDS. so what about the people who dont have the money to keep their kids cool in the summer? Shame on you Asbury. For all the businesses in this town you collect tax from! Let this be a free park for the kids. Wont be back. And oh yea the bathrooms were gross. Tp all over the bathroom. At 11am and it opens at 10. Who are you paying to clean the facilities?
My kids loves it there water park was great
It was so fun, my favorite part is that there is a park on the sand for the kids
Very cute place to come with your kids. Staff are meh and its not huge but for what it is, its a fun hour or two playing in the water.
It was fun I loved it, it could be cleaner but its nice!!
Great place for the young ones that dont know how to swim yet. Right in the board walk with great ocean views!
Great place to take the kids during the summer. Food and other accomadations located nearby
Fun for young kids, not too crowded on a Thursday.
Kids water park at boardwalk, good food and clean.
Great experience with the whole family (we have a 1 and 2 yrld). If you have kids try to go early and get a spot behind the big bucket along the fence. We found that it wasnt to crowded and you can manage the kids easier. Plus later in the afternoon there tends to be a lot more people and older kids. Overall everyone was there to have a good time... and a good time is what we had.
The best mommy /child place ever
Great place and alot of fun for kids!
My 14 month old was interested for about 45 minutes, but it was 14 bucks for the two of us to get in. The place was so dirty I could barely stand it. Literally garbage and filth are strewn around the splash area. There is NO changing table.Lots of things were broken, but the worst is how absolutely 100 percent disgusting the bathroom was. Trash everywhere smelly, toilets filthy, NO SOAP!! So gross. Look at the pictures! When I went to tell the girl working who was just sitting on her ass, she literally just turned away from me without saying a word. Listen, I get that your boring job sucks, but if the management cant be bothered to do anything about the sub-truck-stop condition of your facilities, I dont know why anyone would bother to come here.
Please fix more than half of the damn watertoys, half dont work, and for 18 bucks for me and my kid, ok they dont care but half dont work for them to play with ijs,
Nice small town but beach was closed. More police then tourists.
My grandson had a great time.
Great idea for people and kids to cool off
A fun way for the kids to cool off in the heat
Kids loved it, place for parents to sit. Food near by and bathroom/ changing area
Good to go. Small park
Expensive, rude staff, some spouts didnt even work. Left to go eat, came back and was told somebody reserved it for a party. UNBELIEVABLE. Even asked if i could just take my 3 year old to go potty and was told NO. Will never return.
We’re there todayWe were the last ones to leave the parkForgot my phone with moneyCame running back after inThe workers hand it to meWith an empty wallet!!They took all the cash that was in there left my phone!!So furious to know that one of the workers took it and did not take responsibility!!Will never come back!!Shame on you!
We love the spash park just alit of fun!!!
Nice beach great restaurants in the area.
Great place for kids to play and for adults too!!!
Small splash park mostly for toddlers and infants. I like that they made it clean and organised with showers and changing stations - price of admission is fair for all day.
$28 for a dump. Don’t waste your time or money
Love it took all my grandbabies
5$ to get on the beach for adults. you can pay cash or use card. Terrible food on the boardwalk, matter of fact, there is no good food but clean beach, peaceful with descent folks.
The splash park was well kept and clean. It was spacious as well so lots of people could be there and it still doesnt feel too crowded. My only suggestion would be to make a little area for younger babies. My son is only 11 months and although he liked the water, most of the fountains were too big for him or the water pressure was a little too much. For 18+ months this park is perfect.
Great place for toddlers to have done fun in the water and right on the boardwalk.
Its was a nice place for the kids.
Watch out for the Salps!! Just kidding, theyre harmless, but it took me three washings to get all of those jelly like creatures out of my hair.
64 degrees with 18 mph winds. Not too good for the splash park tonight but jonas bros playing!
Not bad for a childrens play park by any means, but the price is a bit much since parents have to pay to get in too, and of course you cant let your young child in without you.
Very good for children
Fun and awesome food.
Nice
Nice place to relax. Waves were too high when i visited. No much shops. Still recommend this place.
The splash pad is small, and not worth the price. The beach, which you also pay to enter, is clean and usually crowded, so get there early
Its really small. But right on the beach. Its for little kids. I would recommend this place. Even if you just want to spend time on the beach, you can use the facilities here like for shower, changing and restrooms.
Great place for family fun...
Small but good.for toddlers
“Nice splash park for little ones”THe place is clean, has lounge chairs for the parents. Not too big. There are also some umbrellas to protect you from the sun. Reasonably priced. Have to get there early to guarantee a lounge chair. Nephews had a great time. Spent about 2 hours here. Park is right on the boardwalk. Food venues all around.
Everything is good except restrooms. They could be cleaner. But kids love this place
Nice good park very nice
Wasnt too crowded. Everyone was nice and pleasant. Lots of different food and drinks plus free music+
