Fields galore! Natural and turf. Baseball, soccer, lacrosse and more! Easy parking, clean restrooms, concession stand and even lighting for night events. The only thing Long Lake is missing is shade. Mid-summer games came be scorchers. Bring plenty of sunscreen and water!

We frequent only the baseball fields. My review will be based on this only.The fields here are very well kept. The grounds are clean and we enjoy playing ball here.

This place is big and always windy. Plan on being cold in spring and fall.

For tournaments, parking is a nightmare. Also, dont get faked out by Google Maps...take the third right!

Very peaceful - I took along some work. I only saw one man and one dog. They did not trouble me!

Great views, nice bathrooms, good playing surfaces. Parking seems tricky, but the lots are laid out so the walk to the fields isnt too bad. Would be nice if they posted a field map so you know where to park.

Son played football here. Good fields not so good parking. It was not paved/concrete yet so potholes from snow causes issues.

Lacrosse here is exceptional

Baseball fields are not set up well. Ground is very hard. The area is surrounded by tan/light colored fields and the area behind home offers no contrast. The backstop is non painted so it is light colored as well. This all leads to not being able to pick the ball up off the bat. Dangerous for infielders and impossible to spot for outfielders. They would have a nice facility if they would add dark colored screens or at minimum, paint the backstop fence and wood dark green.

Good quality grass soccer fields (cant speak for the baseball). Snack shack is good. Pleanty of parking for everyone but hardly a speck of shade to be found. They have some small trees planted but they are few and far between.

Great facility for soccer and baseball/softball! Windy at times, and I wish theyd get more food trucks, but weve enjoyed great practice and games here. Well done, Arvada Apex!!

Nice outdoor facility, new turf. Parking has improved but having pavement would be nice to cut down on dust and mud. Also who ever operates the park needs to ensure porta johns are cleaned regularly.

Only there for games. Cant say much other than the bathrooms are far away depending upon which field you are on. Watch out for rattle snakes in the evening.

The 5 fields are in great shape and now the facility has restrooms. This is an amazing facility now.

Theres not really a park per se, it is more of sports complex. Theres a lot of parking. Has a lot of fields for sports like soccer and football. I did go to a bicycle race there that we utilize the hills to the West and the South. The area was nice, and clean.

The fishing was good and the park was very clean it was a nice experience I would go there again

It is a wonderful area to walk your dogs. It are not that far from Arvada, but you can experience the wild. This year we have seen a wide variety of birds, fox, coyotes, owls, deer, snakes, etc. A number of fields where children play almost every sport

Nice large open space suitable for walking, picnics, biking, horseback riding, and other outdoor activities. Can be a bit windy, bring a jacket. The sports fields are very well done, as well, including baseball and soccer fields. The soccer field is brand new as of this writing, with the adjacent sidewalks still being completed.

Baseball, soccer, frisbie golf and mountain biking, this place has a lot to do. If you are ever in Arvada give it a visit.

Way out west of the city. Takes a long time to get there, especially considering you have to take I70. But you can have dogs at the fields, its across the street from a dog park, and the fields are nice.

No shade at all even with sunscreen youll get burnt up out there

Great city park offering for childrens sports ! Day and night sports complex mostly all grass but does have Astro tirf as well theres got to be hundreds of soccer and football teams that play here parking is always a challenge and there is no seats so bring your own or a blanket there is a snack stand one bathroom on a many acre lot .

Grass needed to be mowed BAD and the fields werent marked at all are parking wasent to good either. Some shade provided.

Always prepare for weather changes, anywhere in Colorado, but especially here!!
