This is a nice park. They have 2 play structures, one for younger children and another for the older children. There is a basketball court and a large area of grass to run around or kick a ball. There are grills and picnic tables all around. Trees offer shade if you dont want to be in full sun. The park itself was clean, no trash lying around. The bathrooms were clean. Plenty of parking.

I helped build this park 40 years ago from a rough field of rodents next to a creek known for its recent flooding. I will always be fond of it. Meanwhile, it has restrooms, picnic areas, large plush grassy areas, play equipment for active kids, a frizbee course. It has good parking. It has 2 gyms for Pokémon Go players, and Wizards Unite sites, too. It has cultural park info to view near the creek at the back of the park. The trees gave had time to grow tall. It is far enough out of town to not be mobbed, but close enough to be no trouble to get to. It was built when the neighborhood there was expected to come in. It is there now, but the park only sees moderate use as of yet. Kind of a hidden gem.

AG Recreation Dept ZUMBA class began today at Strother Park. Despite the forecast for 50% of rain a small number of women, including my wife, gathered and danced. There were a few young girls a distance away who joined in by watching and listening.Very enjoyable, especially for us, since our house is only a few-minute walk away. The park has a basketball court, which was the dance floor, and lots of open space as well as a wonderful playground.

Plenty of parking, a nice play structure, newly redone bathrooms, BBQ pits large and small. With plenty of seating. A softball field and large area to play soccer, tag, Frisbee or whatever youre into. One of the neat things about this park is the forested creek area that is a favorite of kid young and old. Just be aware of poison oak and stinging nettles if you go down that way.

Great park. Currently updating their restroom facilities. Which were already decent but glad to see they are wanting to keep everything up to date. They have electricity hook ups. Plenty of tables with benches in shade and in the sun. Tons of grass to kick or throw a ball and basketball hoops too. All around amazing park. As well as a native Chumash artifact site I believe. Its marked so u cant take anything but its still cool to check out. Also plenty of parking .

A great family park with plenty of open grassy area, playground with two distinct sections for smaller and bigger kids, large picnic area with plenty of tables and big grill for family reunions etc. Single tables with individual grills scattered nearby. Large restrooms. Huge open section for frisbee golf or tossing the football around. The trees are huge and full grown providing shade on extra warm days.

A perfectly sized park on the edge of Arroyo Grande with tons of open space, a big playground area, several picnic tables and barbecues. Excellent choice for a kid birthday party. The Arroyo Grande Creek runs through the backside of the park, a good spot for older kids to explore. Glad to see the playground is being updated with all new equipment!
