Cypress Ridge is a very nice course! Today a old friend and I just went out to the driving range. Then spent some time on the putting green. Perfect day!

Had a great day at Cypress Ridge Golf course. The course is in great shape, greens really fast and pace of play was good. Everyone that works there were so friendly, they even brought us our breakfast burrito out to the first tee. so glad we played there. Thanks for a fun day.

Great course for the price. Staff is very pleasant and accommodating. The fairways are in very good shape and green. Beautiful scenery to enjoy.

Great course and great staff!

I love this place! Its a bit pricey but at the lower end of coast courses. Our club does a tournament here every July and we are treated like kings! They also give us a good rate. They also host a Wounded Warriors charity tournament the first Monday each month.Its a tough course but absolutely beautiful! I rarely do well here but I dont care. Ill keep coming back!

A year ago before new ownership i gave 4 stars but now i need to drop it to 3 unfortunately. seems that maintenance of the course is slipping and i hope like hell it doesn’t slip farther away. tee boxes aren’t maintained. greens have become un true and marked pretty bad. course seemed very dry and more ground and less grass then a year ago. i had many shots in play that felt like hard pan. i know the prices are better and therefore more play but it seems like more then that to me. covid safety is lax. cart was dirty with spider webs and trash still in it. i have always considered Cypress to be head and shoulders above the rest but i’m forced to reconsider now after a year away.

Beautiful track. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Only met 1 sourpuss on the course and we let him play through to be rid of him, theres always one!

Course is in great shape, first time to play. Will be able to shave a few strokes next round. Greens were in good shape.

Good course. We liked the combined track that mixes some forward and white tees do we could play from same spot. Pretty well kept.

Love this course

Great golf course, well maintained, generally not crowded. Unfortunately priced a bit high, and they occassionally allow 5 some which some may view as a positive. They host many tournaments for schools.

Expensive but worth for people that want to play this golf course. I would highly recommend a cart when golfing.

Great golf course!

A very hilly course that has a interesting layout. The course is difficult for the longer drivers but makes you make decisions off the tee. I walked this course but the layout is NOT conducive for the walker. The only disappointment is the finishing hole. The closer you get to the green it is covered in goose/ duck feces and once you are on the green it is pretty disgusting.

Great golf course design that is not what it used to be. Entering the building that houses the snack bar, pro shop and restrooms, you are immediately smacked with thé smell of sewer and thé restroom.....yuck!The practice facilities are poorly maintained, range balls in bad condition used on an unmowed driving range.The course is in décent shape but nothing compared to years past. Worth a stop on any golf outing. Many more options for golf in the area

This is a great track. Lots of fun from different tee boxes. It has become part of our 25-year tradition from Olivas Links Golf Club in Ventura that we play this course every year on our way to Morro Bay. Very highly recommended.

Excellent, challenging golf course with a good blend of 3s and 5s. Best drainage in the area.

Love this course!!! Played there several times. Joined the players club today, best deal on the central coast. Course in fantastic shape. Just as good as Hunter ranch if not better!!!

Lovely course! Challenging but quite rewarding

Beautiful and well maintained. Dont even think about walking here. Needs signs in about 5 intersections. But overall, wonderful.

We had a good time. The 18th green was overrun by coots. Coot droppings messed up my birdie putt.

The golf course is nice just not there people who work at the pro shop, they act too upidly.

Mature cypress trees, lush green fairways and cool fresh ocean air make Cypress Ridge an enjoyable course to visit. This is a classic residential community golf course, with set-back properties often flanking one side or both sides of each hole.

Beautiful course. Rolling fairways, large greens and just the right amount of hazards.

On the expensive side, but a fun course. The greens were punched though and putts were bouncing all over instead of rolling true.

Great course but needs a club house

A fun round of golf. I searched for golf courses near San Luis Obispo and found Cypress Ridge. It was very fair for a first timer; lack of course knowledge cost just a stroke or two in club selection and/or green reading. Excellent condition, friendly staff and a good bar.

A really good daily fee course. Great conditions.

The views from the high holes are incredible. You can see from the hills of the coast out to the sea. Your lies will be up, down, and sideways, but manageable. The fairways are completely grass=covered, and the greens are well-manicured, without poa ana, and fast. The course allows carts to go everywhere. There is water, but no over water shots, just red hazards. This afternoon of July 26 2012 was a truly comfortable and pleasant experience, and I played rather well because of that.

Golf course was a lot of fun. Very nice layout on most holes.Must say however, the clubhouse had a very strong odor of cat pee.
