Yet another one of Arlington counties great little parks tucked away in a neighborhood. Nice picnic shelter, sand volleyball court, modern playground, sports field and baseball diamond. Mostly street parking and right off the bike path.

Very hot, no shade over play area. Playground equipment only for children 6 and under.

Westover is a nice park. Has a nice playground suitable for varied ages - swings, toddler slides/climbing, sand box, older kids jungle gym. Also has a baseball field, soccer field, sand volleyball, and basketball court. Also has a covered pavilion with lots of picnic tables and, the best part, real bathrooms instead of porta potties.

Nice park with playground equipment for kids, a soccer field, two baseball diamonds and a basketball court. This is a very pleasant part of Arlington, and if you get hungry its just a couple of blocks to the Westover shopping center, with lots of eating choices.

As mentioned by other reviewers, there isn’t much room for parking. The playground is very nice and good for a nice range of ages.The baseball fields are for smaller kids so don’t think a game of adult softball is in your future here.

Westover Park is a very nice place. It would be even nicer if ALL the proper authorities could catch the many VIOLATORS who continuously let their dogs loose in this Park and other Parks around Arlington (VA). And since these VIOLATORS are very sneaky, the authorities are unable to catch them, though I sometimes think ALL three (3) agencies, i.e., Police, Park Rangers, and Animal Welfare, turn a blind eye to those blatant Park Rules VIOLATOR, for how is it I am constantly catching said VIOLATORS and not one of those self-same agencies are catching them? Most of the time its the same VIOLATORS I keep catching, even after having pointed out the signs to them which state that ALL DOGS MUST BE ON LEASH OR ALL DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH AND IN THE CONTROL OF THEIR OWNER. My concern is for the safety of the Park visitors. And I especially dont want to ever hear or read about some man, woman or child having been attacked and/or mauled by a dog off its leash. So whoever is reading this, I ask that you please obey the Rules of ALL the Parks in Arlington County while you walk your dog. There are Dog Parks where you can let your dogs run free in.

3.5 STARS!Usually not a lot of people, some traffic noise from I-66 and train. Lighted one hoop half Basketball court. Volleyball, Baseball, and Soccer. The soccer field needs grass and maintenance, its usually a mud pit or dust field. Love the gated playground, equipment looked like its for very young kids, age 2-7. Picnics pagoda is nice size for Birthday Party. Concrete path for dog walkers and learning to bike. Parking is limited, especially on north side since apartment tenants use it too. Street parking available but some drivers are very fast so watch carefully. Bathrooms are convenient but usually dont have soap. Water fountain outside.

Fun, but there is now construction.

This will be an excellent park when the soccer field resodding is complete. Very accessible from trails and major roads.

Great space for kids and adults, great for gatherings and fun times with family.

The best thing is that you make the pizza great.!!!!You choose your toppings if the cake pizza sucks then you SUCK!!!!

Absolutely love this little park! Perfect to keep kids corraled and entertained. Outside of the enclosed playground is a beach volleyball court, basketball court, open field, and a baseball field that is fenced. Parking spots are available, but plenty of easy street parking. Perfect little place for your budding American Ninja Warrior!

Great place for a shady day family hangout

Great soccer and baseball fields. Kids playground has excellent equipment. Bathrooms and drinking fountain s also on site.

There was a beehive under the shelter actually there were 2 behives, other than THAT it was OK

The playground, although small, is in good shape and enclosed by a fence. Easy street parking.

You have to go there to know. A secret love for one of my favorite places to be.

Convenient and well apportioned, but very close the a highway and frequently busy.

Its an okay baseball field, a small playground and a lousy soccer field. There is a covered seating area, water fountain and rest room.
