Beautiful park in Arlington near Crystal City bringing nature into the city. Has all the amenities, tennis and basketball courts, soccer fields, shelters, playgrounds, bathrooms and lovely walking paths.

Good place to play sports with your friends or walk your dog. Tennis courts are always full but if you wait you will most likely be able to get one within 30 mins. Some people are also open to playing with strangers. Best part is that there are practice walls. I wish this place was open 24/7 so I could practice late at night when no one is there.

Great spot in the middle of a bunch of buildings. Shaded, clean, and safe. It is downright glorious during the fall. There are team sport areas for soccer and softball. There are also a set of tennis courts. We love the fact that there is a splash pad and a toddler play area that’s gated. We also like that it’s next to a library.

Nice user friendly family park. 2-year-old grandson really enjoyed the play equipment.

Love taking my children here. Its a big park, has everything. Can plan your day for it or just visit after shopping not too many parks left like this anymore bring me back to me being a child!!

My dogs loved it. Lots of room to run around. It also has a nice kiddy park for small children.

What a vibrant park. There always seems to be something going on. From B-ball to soccer to tennis to folks having an excercise class. Its lovely to see a community park so well used. The grounds are clean and well kept. Even the restrooms were clean! It was wonderful to see all the families enjoying their day at the park. Even the dogs were having a great time! Kids bored? Take them to Highlands Park so they can run around and be kids! Tired of sitting at home? Take a brisk walk thru the park. Get some fresh air. Enjoy the scenery. Just get out there! You wont regret it.

Peaceful, friendly, and safe place to practice your hobbies. Nice walk paths that integrate with the neighborhoods walk paths, spacious soccer fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, and childrens playgrounds. Its one of my favorite places to hang out.

Great park that has some fairly well maintained tennis courts. Some of the nets have holes in them. Though get there early or youll be waiting and there are many courts that are reserved for tennis lessons...

Great place for a picnic, even during social distancing. Fantastic, and near by parking to the picnic tables. Very pleasant. It was my first time there, and Id definitely go back.

Solid facility. Wish they would fix the broken light on the tennis court. Rest of the place is great.

Virginia Highlands Park is a large park in Pentagon City with baseball fields, a splash park, and a playground with a sandbox for kids. My toddler loved the sandbox and the nearby drinking fountains. Theres a parking lot with free parking.

Lots of people enjoying tennis, a good sport when you need to keep socially distant.

Great place to place frisbee. Not from the area, but had a great time. Nice view and good fields. Wish the water fountain was on though.

Very good place, has two basketball courts, 6 tennis courts and a practice court for tennis. Main soccer ground is usually busy, but there is a smaller ground.

It is a big area and a good choice for kids and adults, but it is very difficult to find parking.

Luv this park its gated and very safe for kids although as a mom nobody lets their kids put stuff in their mouth specially the sand!!! The thing i love the most that they have a very clean public resume which still amazes me

We love this park. The shaded play area is a major winner in the dog days of summer! The play structure is fun, but the sand box is a clear winner for my bunch. The adjacent spray park is small and best suited to the younger crowd, but even my 7 year old doesnt complain when its hot out. On not too hot days, we can also use the area around the volleyball courts to run races and tire kids out more!

This is a great little splash pad in Arlington. There are some nice trees with shade if you can get there early enough to catch a spot.

There was literally nowhere to sit for it to be a park and it had limited time parking as if someone would want to tell theyre child they have to stop playing because the parking time is running out! Its a public park so that makes no sense!

The park is kids friendly, clean, and well-lighted in the dark. There are a several playgrounds for different ages, tennis courts, basketball court, soccer field, softball field, and a nice walking trail. Not to mention a water park in the summer. Next to the park is a library and Community Center, amd a Fire House.

Close in to DC, close to commercial businesses, theres a park for kids to play, soccer, be able to run around. Save our parks!!!

Its a very nice park with basket ball courts, tennis courts, soccer field and a water play area for children in the summer and also a swing set, monkey bars, and a slide. The running trail goes through this park and there is also a library.

If your going to play tennis in the spring and summer, the best time to come is in the morning, in the afternoon you can have a long wait time for a court to open up

The spray ground is a major plus! Nice playground area that has a small sand pit as well. Picnic tables and benches. The tress help a lot for shade. Bathroom area is very convenient.

Great park! There is so much to do for kids/people of all ages. From 2 soccer fields (one of them turf) to 2 basketball courts to 6 tennis courts to a baseball field to a playground for the little ones.

Awesome awesome park for the kids. The splash area is really clean and very fun with a lot of great features. The play equipment is not very big, but it is adequate for younger kids. Plus, there is a library right behind the splash park, so you can walk in there for some quiet wind down time after a day in the sun.

Virginia Highlands, aka Aurora Highlands, is one of the best Arlington County parks! It has public bathrooms, water fountains, splash pad, sand box, swings, and a jungle gym.

Arlington is so lucky to have this amazing facility in the heart of Pentagon City. Great walking trails and turf soccer field. Lots of young people and families gather here.

Note - parking can be tough. There are neighborhood side streets which can be used after work hours to park at for a short walk to fields and courts

Great park with soccer fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, a volleyball sand court and a kids playground. A lot of this has been newly renovated in the past year-ish, so theres still not too much wear and tear on all the equipment. Id like to see a fenced in area for dogs in the future, but its still a great local park for the Pentagon/Crystal City area.

Great park! Lots of shade, playground, splash area, beach volleyball court, soccer fields, tennis courts, basketball court, etc. They have it all! And there are picnic tables that can be moved around in the splash area to accommodate.

Very beautiful, great place to do sports activities. Soccer, basketball, tennis.

Lots of athletic facilities and largely shaded with trees. They have a great spray ground with long hours 7 days a week but it is often out of order this year. When working our small kids love it and can spend hours there.

Wonderful park for families. Grass and turf soccer fields, two playgrounds, splash pad, multiple basketball and tennis courts that were recently renovated. Bathrooms are clean. Close to pentagon city mall neighborhood for food, coffee, etc. Also there is a fire station on Hayes that always has trucks out -- which toddlers love to look at!
