Not too scenic, if you ask me! Nice place to maybe stretch your legs? If you want a nice view, I recommend Roosevelt Island which is only a few minutes drive away.

Great view, a little dangerous if you take kids or clumsy people. Just be careful, you can take really nice pics

It is a quick little pull off where you. An overlook the edge of DC.. and the river.. it is a chance to stand and see how busy everyone is, the amount of people that zoom by in a minute at 8 PM is astounding.. you can watch the planes coming in to land at the airport.. it is a great little spot for an overlook!

Beautiful scenery. Stunning views.In the fall, you get to see the amazing colors of the trees blend in and the views of the Potomac River.Such a blessing to have this beautiful place close by.Take the kids for a morning or afternoon walk on the weekends. I take my out of town guests here as well and they are always mesmerized by the beautiful views.

Great place to stop and see some views and just take a break. Pretty cool history if you are into that.

Nice rest stop along the beautiful memorial highway. View is okay/good. No bathroom and only accessible when driving westbound. Otherwise worthwhile rest stop!

This is a nice scenic overview of the Patomac River. Be sure not to miss it in a nice weather.

Feeling Tired while driving? Just pull your car over there. Come out of your car and enjoy nature. It will freshen you up again. It is safe to stop there but when you start coming out then use your blind spot very carefully because sometimes traffic coming from back is very fast.

This is your most bare-boned scenic overlook off the George Washington Memorial Parkway going west. There are no public restrooms and no trails (that I could see). Its just a good spot to catch a breath, enjoy seasonal changes on the trees, having a simple picnic on the rocky half wall, or maybe even to pop the question if you so desire. There are no lampposts so it gets very dark at night.

A nice spot to stop and take a break. It was a sunny day, and I took the top down on my convertible!

Came up here at 4 am on a Saturday, just to sit, rest eyes, watch the sun come up. Had a cop tell me this place was closed at that time...theres a sign blah, blah, blah (A lie) cause hours of operation say 24 hours...online & gps...(he wanted us to move on)...even though we were too tired to drive....(what bothers me)..We came here 3 times this week, at different times there were plenty of fishermen, bikers sitting, 2 am to 10am etc.... No problem!! THE POPO WONT LET PEOPLE ENJOY ANYTHING!!

Easy in and out on the GW Parkway when going west. Simple on and off with parking as its a one way overlook. Nice views of the Potomac River. Never really crowded either and free.

Its a nice place to rest when youre sick of traffic. The views are not incredibly spectacular, but Nature is always beautiful.
