The DeSoto Bluff Trail was a wonderful escape from the city while still being a few miles from downtown.My children loved the trail and stopping to read the descriptions on DeSoto as well as the Native American history.The trail is easy for most everyone and the look out over the River is a nice addition.

Amazing view!! Clean, nice pavilion with fireplace picnic tables and chairs. Lots of squirrels. Very peaceful.We saw 3 deer come out rite at sunset across the river! I will never froget my trip and cant wait to go back!!

Very pretty area. The trail is paved, making it easy for anyone who may not be able to handle uneven terrain. The view at the end is very pretty, and there is a gazebo and plenty of seating to have a meal there. Must be careful with drop offs, particularly if visiting with children. The trail is maybe 1/4 mi each way, so not too long a walk.

Lovely walking trail and beautiful view of the Ouachita River. Have done plein air painting here, in the past. I would like people to take out their trash and keep our areas beautiful.

Beautiful view and lovely chairs. Only reason its 4 stars is because a restroom is not available. However, it is close enough to town when a bathroom or food is needed

DEFINITELY A BEAUTIFUL VIEW! We moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas from Huntsville, Texas about 6 months ago. Today we drive to Degray Lake to scope out the camping around this Lake that has hosted triathlons and over 1000 fishing tournaments (Literally). The DeSoto Bluff Trail is a view of the Quachita River we we will never forget.

This is a great pet and child friendly hike! With the addition of a new pavilion this will be a fabulous place for birthday parties. There is also an amazing view and fire place, which makes it an affordable option for a wedding

5 minutes detour off of 30. Quick little walk on paved trail. Well worth the stop!
