Steve was super chill, professional, and all around wonderful to work with. The shop was clean and comfortable. I saw him meticulously check, clean, and set up the equipment which made me feel very safe. I came in with a specific font I wanted and the tattoo turned out EXACTLY how I had hoped. I will definitely be going back in the future. Highly recommend!

Very phenomenal experience. Got a giant cover up on my leg and each session I love my tattoo more and more. Steve Martin is a magnificent artist with a killer playlist. I stopped by the shop last night as a walk-in. I described the kind of tat I wanted. Steve found a cool design and inked me up. The tat came out looking sharp and sweet.. The shop was very clean. Steve was totally professional. We also had great conversation during the painfest. I recommend this shop and Steve without reservation. :-)

This was my first experience with a tattoo artist, and I have to say, Steve set the bar very high. Luckily, he’s local for me so any future work I have done will be with him.One email sent via the site from me, he replied, said to stop in and we can chat and bounce ideas around, and go from there. I needed something very simple and we got a design in no time, had it done in even less, and I’m a happy first-timer.Very clean, very professional, no complaints at all. Steve Martin is a highly educated professional tattoist who is able to read between the lines and he pushes the result to the max! He is a wizard on colors but also gives your tattoos the best shadings. Steve is always serious in what he is doing and he is doing tattoos with so much passion. I had a great experience with Steve at Black Moth. The shop is clean, inviting, and Steve is awesome to work with! I gave him some inspiration photos of what I was looking for and the design he came up with is pretty much exactly what I envisioned but couldnt draw myself. It was done in two sessions, about a month apart. I absolutely love my tattoo, and get a little thrill every time I look down at my foot and see it. Ill be going there for all new tattoos and touchups in the future!
