Great park. Has a small area for ages 2-12 years thats gated to make keeping the kids safe easy. Has a larger park for bigger kids. Lots of trails and a cute creek. Tons of other areas we havent begun to explore yet. We travel from Greensboro to go to this park. It is our favorite by far and also our kids favorite.

The trails are nice as well as paved and well marked. They are not rugged in any way, but there are hills. The main trail follows a nice creek or stteam...but beware of this creek after a rain shower. It can swell quickly

For a small town, a metropolitan city would be proud to have such a park to their credit. The trails encompass a wide range of terrain from flat and level for the lesser fit to rolling for the more fit to get their heart rate up. Along the primary trail there are exercise stations to work on different zones from pull-ups to sit-ups. The park also has a disk golf course. They have 3-4 toilets strategically placed within the park along with basketball and tennis courts and soccer and baseball fields; not to mention a play area for children with slides, swings and climbing platforms. All very well maintained. As for the recreation center itself, it has been several years since Ive been in but does have an indoor basketball court and another fenced in playground for the kiddies and more. Ohh almost forgot, they have a covered picnicking area and the library is adjacent to the park.

What an incredible city park. Had no idea this existed. This place is huge. Covered picnic areas with grills, one of the nicest, biggest playground areas for kids. Looked liked numerous walking trails that seemed to go forever. Sand volleyball, basketball court. The reason I came today was I had heard of the dog park. Very nice. Veery impressed. Archdale residents have a world class park. They should be proud

I just want to say be careful on some of the trails, I actually broke my leg (the first bone ever in my body) walking on one because it was mud. The park was always nice when i went. I used to walk my dog daily. I miss it sometimes. Except one incident when someone threw a bike at him it was always nice with nice people and i walked here every single day, rain or shine, for over a year . I have seen the park change, add a dog park, more rules, a vollyball court, etc. I am glad it takes pride in itself and offers more and more.-1 star because I did break my leg haha.

Favorite place to visit in Archdale. Beautiful scenery and landscape is well maintained. Take my dog here on walks and it is just very relaxing.

Always a great day at this park. And with the new swings and play areas for kids there is so much more for them to do. Love the trails too.

My daughter and I love going to Creekside Park. They have a awesome play ground for the children as well as great trails to walk for people of any age. Very clean and safe. Got to go to their fireworks show today as well. It was AMAZING! Can’t wait to go back next year. Would recommend this park to any and everyone.

Great park! Many things to do from a get together under nice shelters with grills, to great trails, to all sports. Baseball, basketball, volleyball, soccer & nice play grounds for the kids.

This park offers a little bit for everyone. There is a play ground for the children, baseball fields, and covered shelters. Paved trail with workout stations at certain points, and an awesome creek that runs through. Great park!!!

Best place to take your favorite pooches for a walk and swim

Great park for walking dogs, kids playground, disc golf, basketball and brand new volleyball courts. A few miles of paved walking trails which is awesome and most are shaded! Hands down the best public park in the triad!

Family walks on the trails does the body good

To be so centrally located, the trails are a step back into nature. Great bike trails.

My wife and I send our children to the day camp that the park district operates out of this location and we feel its the best one around. The staff is pleasant to talk to and seem genuinely concerned about the welfare of all the children.

Every Thursday 2:30 to 6:30 stop by and reap the rewards of their farmers markets. You can get local produce, snacks, sauces and more. Support local and get to know where your food is produced.

This is a beautiful park. You can tell that the community loves their park and their city. I was asked years ago to add to the Archdale Trinity Chambers time capsule that is buried there. I cant help myself. Its funny. My item the chambers first website on 3 floppy disks.

The new playground is awesome! I love the rubber ground, the giant merry-go-round platform, and the mini help yourself library. The swings are for all ages. One I have never seen before...Adult to swing with child. Fun place

My family loves this park. The playgrounds are truely inclusive to special needs. They have no mulch so its easy for children in walkers or wheelchairs to play. The slides have v shapes at end so kids feet catch themselves. They have therapy swings. And alot of things to enjoy at ground level, for those who cannot climbequipment..Every part of this park was well thought out.My only complaint, irresponsible dog owners not cleaning up dog waste

Its very friendly, with new updated playgrounds. Ball fields, tennis courts, and basketball outside could be better but its there. So there is alot to do with wonderful trails to walk on.

Great place during the day. Gazebo could be cleaned more often. Attracts SO many flies. But kids love the park,adults love the trails,and we enjoy being able to bring our dogs with us for a walk. The library and the staff are amazing, not old fashioned anymore,and super helpful and smart.Overall, fireworks included,we go to the park and or library 25 to 40x per year.4 stars, would give it a 5 if eating areas and potties were cleaner. An awesome park! One of my kids favorite places to go and the dogs too. Walking trails. Playgrounds. Large grass areas. Picnic tables. A creek, can even be played in when low enough.

I love this park! Im here on a long term work assignment, and was so happy to see all of the activity taking place at the local park. I take the yoga class her 2x a week. How relaxing. There are activities here for every age and ability, and you may meet up with your neighbor. Nice walking trails too!

We went to the disc golf course here. The signage for the course needs to be either refreshed or put in a more obvious place because we missed at least four or five of the signs for the next holes

This place is awesome they just keep making it better over the years Ive always been coming here since I was a kid.they have firework events and special events throughout the year for different seasons in different holidays. Soccer Court basketball court tennis court volleyball court vending machines plenty of bathrooms. Like I said I love this place.

If you have young kids, the playground looks like a blast. If you dont, this place has a beautiful walking trail next to a stream, among other amenities. Very nice park.

Its within walking distance from my house. The walking trails are fantastic. Great for beginners to intermediate courses. They even have a few natural trails made by people through the woods for the disc golf course. The tunnel for graffiti tagging is pretty cool, you never know what youre going to see lol & of course I cant leave out their awesome new key updated playground. Plus they have a rec-center, another infant to toodles mini playground, 3 restrooms, basketball & baseball fields, tennis course, gazebo, & sheltered picnic tables. So in my opinion its a wonderful place.

This was our first stop on a Sunday afternoon after a very long ride from Michigan. Its a beautiful setting with very nice walking paths: just what we needed to stretch our legs. Although there was a you are here map/sign, the paths themselves are not well marked for someone unfamiliar with the area. We first turned back when the path under the road emptied into a neighborhood street. Turning back & reviewing the sign, we discovered it wouldve continued much farther but there were no markers. Along another path & into another neighborhood, we decided to continue but alas, no loop or other entrance back, so we had to backtrack quite a ways that time. Despite the poorly marked paths, we met some nice folks along the way, even though we usually had to initiate.

Creekside park has my childrens favorite playground. It is out in the sun, and when it gets too hot, we go to the bottom of the hill to play in the creek. The park also has several athletic fields, tennis and basketball courts and wonderful, paved walking trails.
