First of all, this is probably a better deal for children, that being said, I don’t advise visiting if you don’t have kids with you. Myself and 3 other 20-somethings went to enjoy the corn maze, as all the reviews I could find said this was the best and most challenging one around, and was good for adults. Well, $80 later, myself and 3 other young adults finished the corn maze in 8 minutes. The $20 armband includes other activities, but all for children. There should be a separate price for the corn maze, there were multiple groups of young adults who had the same idea we did, and we were all similarly disappointed. The corn maze is extremely small and the corn is short, it is ridiculously easy to get through, but the kids around seemed to be having fun. If you’re looking for a fun, even slightly challenging corn maze to enjoy as a teen/young adult for a fair price, do not come here. If you have kids, it’s great! The entire place is definitely geared towards children.

Most of the staff was excellent but theres always one miserable staffer that can ruin the experience for visitors. We had fun in the Maze and other kid friendly attractions but was disappointed when my 3 sons went to ride the train ride. The lady working the ride was out of sight while riders placed themselves in the cars. There was no line and mostly kids just filled in the cars on there own. When the “conductor” got there she made sure everyone was buckled in and without any real discernment asked that my 2 year old get out of his car because social distancing guidelines required there be an empty car in between each family. The car in front of my 2 year old was a mother over the age of 40 riding with her kids. These people did not sit before us but were in a train car in front of us. The lady conductor had a smirk on her face and repeatedly asked that the 2 year old be removed for social distancing reasons without batting an eye at this over sized adult riding a child ride. Would have been a lot more rationale and feel a lot less bias in nature had she asked the adult to get out of the ride and not my two year old. Just goes to show the mentality of some people. I had my 11 year old get out instead and relocated my 2 year old while the lady working gave a unprovoked chuckle to the inconvenience caused. Place cost to much money for basic entertainment and poor decision making by staff. As a counter though, all of the younger staff working at the maze, gem mining and other attractions were as polite and professional as can be but the one ignorant encounter with an older staffer left a sour taste in my mouth.

It was the perfect Sunday outing for us and our 2 kids. Fun for the whole family. We also plan on coming back just the two of us to enjoy the more adult attractions. Food and drinks are expensive there but that is expected with any place with food vendors. I would definitely recommend checking it out.

We paid 35 bucks which is more than usual to do a quarter of what the attraction usually is. The actors did a great job but they cranked up the prices to only have less than half of it open. It took us 17 minutes to go through after we waited an hour and a half. I understand they have to take precautions because of covid but to get from the parking lot to the attraction we definitely weren’t 6 feet apart so why couldn’t they open the other part of the attraction and do it the same way we were taken back and forth. It was fun but definitely not 35 dollars worth.

We had so many fun things to do throughout the entire day! It was great for all ages, and fun for the family. We just got a general admissions for the maize and it also included so many other attractions like the bouncy pillows, sunflower field, pumpkin patch, tractor ride, and jewel mine. We will be coming back to try the laser tag and escape rooms!

Let me start by saying that we had a nice time. It was me, my husband, and my granddaughter. But, We got there a little early so that we wouldn’t have to wait in line and the signs were very confusing as to where you go. There were no personnel there to direct you and the gate was open so you could go ahead and walk back. By the time we realize what we had to do we end up having to wait in line for 25 minutes in order to get our wristbands. They only had one line open for will call and three lines open for people paying. Once we got In line and waited a few minutes lady told us that she thought it was gonna be the same wait either way so we went into the cash line and ended up waiting longer! it was just crazy! it was not very organized. we get our wristbands we go back to where we just came from, and letting our granddaughter ride the rides and do the things that we needed a wristband for. We’re waiting in line for the train that goes around the corn maze& we had been waiting there for about 15-20 minutes & when we are 3rd people from the front of the line to get on the train, a worker comes and tells us that there is maintenance problem with the train it has to be fixed & to come back in 30 minutes. It’s 315 he tells us this & to come back at 3:45. So we want to go get something to drink come back 10 minutes later & the train loading passengers & going around the track! He told us to come back around 345 and yet there are people riding it. That was not cool. At least now I know to expect.

Nov. 14, 2020, enjoyed the Coach Class course as a first time experience. My sister and I had talked about it for years, Im 67 now, so it was getting time to put up or stay on the couch. Signing up online was easy and it was walk in an harness up, watch film and go. Chad and Celeste lead us to the first tower and with each level climbed the question, am I going to turn back?, got to the top. I was determined I was going to do this, understand I am deathly afraid of heights, fariswheel scare me bad. Standing on the platform all connected and the last moment thought was no go, Celeste said go, I overruled the no and lifted my feet and away I went, never looked back. With each zip it just got better and Chad and Celeste and the rest of the group made it that much more enjoyable. Truly enjoyed the support and comerradery of everyone. Great experience, give it a shot and enjoy.

I was very disappointed to find that my boyfriend and I paid $44 just to walk through a corn maze.. only to learn that most of the other activities required additional payment. Two boys that were staff members inside the corn maze were very rude to the customers and acted like complete children. I would not recommend this attraction to anyone and I will not be visiting again. Such and awful disappointment that I will share to avoid this happening to others!

40 people is too many for the area. People were leaving from teams which caused confusion...12 vs 10? From 20 vs 20. Infectious game was not understood by any players. Most disappointing was staff allowed sign-ins until 2:40!!!!! We were supposed to start at 2pm! Staff did not begin as promised....45 minutes late. That meant people who arrived at 1:15 (as requested by reservation) waited for 1 1/2 hours to begin! Very dissatisfied. I gave 2 stars because the event was fun aside from what has been stated above.

Have gone here many times since I was a small child and have always had a positive experience. However, they don’t appear to be taking the global pandemic with any sense of seriousness. On a busy Saturday, only one employee I could see was wearing a mask, hardly any customers were wearing them, huge groups of people on top of each other in the ticket line, etc. We payed for parking (didn’t get refunded), got halfway to the ticket line, and decided to leave because we couldn’t believe the blatant disregard for customer safety. I’m honestly surprised no one has called any health office on them considering mask mandates are legally required. If you care about the safety of you and your family I would advise not coming here until they take the pandemic seriously.Editing to add: According to the state mandate which can be googled, KV can, and should, enforce customers to wear a mask. They can be find for not doing so. A ticket is required for entry in addition to paying an attendant for parking, so there should be no reason workers here cannot require masks be worn as customers enter the grounds. This pandemic has been going on six months and the mandate has been in effect for three. Not having it sorted out by now is irresponsible.

First time visiting here and probably my last.Only 2 cashiers open to buy tickets( our bad for not buying online, although that line was just as long)After paying 50 dollars just to get in (2 tickets plus tax and parking)We waited in line for the little train, when we finally got to the front we were informed the train was broken and they needed to do maintenance, it would be 30 to 45 mins.. come back. We walked away and not even 5 mins later it was up and running and they were loading people on. So we had to wait in line from the back all over again. By the time we got on it had been 2 hours, my 3 year old and 1 year old were both beyond upset. Decided to get something to eat, which was another 20 min wait. To have the cashier rip me off with my change, I told her my change was wrong and she argued with me over it, it was 2 bucks so I let it go. After this we waited in line for a few mins for the corn maze and the kids were just not having it. We left. So, basically we paid 50 dollars to ride the little train and wait in lines for hours. If you like paying a lot of money to wait in lines, this place is for you!

The activities themselves were fun and staff was friendly but the reason I’m giving it 1 star is because of the lack of COVID regulations here. I normally never write reviews but to have almost nothing in place to keep people distanced is ridiculous. Before going when i purchased tickets online the website makes you sign a waiver and they mention COVID, so I thought it was just a precaution and they would have the necessary social distancing procedures in place. I was wrong. When we first got there we were loaded into a shuttle tractor to get to the the main entrance from the parking lot and I thought they were going to have it marked off and limit the amount of people on the shuttle. They didn’t. They crammed everyone that was waiting into that shuttle. Once you get to the main entrance there are signs saying that masks are required at all times, and someone takes your temperature but none of the employees enforce the mask rule. Waiting to enter you wait in a line with no markets for 6ft apart and even some of the employees weren’t wearing masks or they were wearing them improperly. The lack of consideration that we are in a pandemic and it was completely irresponsible.

Wow! What an amazing night! Covid-19 can’t shutdown everything! With everything going on covid-19 has by far been the hardest for everyone. It takes a special dedicated person each day to get ready and plan for an amazing attraction for thousands of people. Last night October 2nd was opening night and it was amazing. The wait time was short, The staff were amazing, and the place was very very very well organized complying with CDC guidelines and social distancing. Kersey Valley Spooky Woods is my favorite and by far the best there is. Go check them out. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Tony and Staff for everything you do! Keep it up!

Hesitant about the cost but so worth it & definitely they want to revisit year after year. Glad to have the concessions because we were all so HOT & needing a refreshing water! First it should be noted that me and my gf have traveled around a good portion of the country hitting haunted attractions. So, were a little snobby about it but also pretty experienced for lack of a better term. We drove up from Columbia, SC to hit this one. Kersey Valley Spooky Woods checked most of the boxes that youd want in a haunted attraction. Good visuals, plenty of actors, some pretty cool sets, and bang for your buck. The big haunted house with lit up windows in the distance as you trek through the cornfield was particularly cool. I would definitely recommend this one especially to your casual haunt-goer in the area. They also did very well in this weird covid age setting everything up. I actually preferred the virtual queue. That said, there were a few things that could take them to another level. For one, the actors for the most part could be a little more lively and a lot more intense. They were all pretty laid back, and this was at the beginning of the evening so I found that a little puzzling. The initial haunted house you walk through should set the tone and have those actors on their A game, and that was a little underwhelming. Also, if I had this cool location Id play up the Halloween aspect more. Like the pumpkin patch you walk through at the end. It was just kinda there in the dark, when it couldve been lit up with some effects and added to the attraction finale walk-through. Lastly, the price for this particular haunt was up there - around $85 I believe for general admission tix for 2 people is damn near theme park rates. That said this was still a SOLID haunt with a good length. Just a few tweaks could really set it apart!

We decided to take our scouts to the corn maize. Due to covid we thought they were scheduling appointments to keep down the crowds. This was not the case. For what it cost to attend that day and the over whelming number of people we couldnt even stay and enjoy it. It was a let down and the kids where disappointed and some parents where mad. They should have limited the number of people and taken more caution with the covid pandemic. I have looked forward to visiting Kersey valley every year since I was a teenager. This was a disappointment.

I have been coming to Kersey Valley Spookywoods for approximately 5-6 years sometimes multiple times a year. Every year before this one has been good (I’d say 5 stars). The actors have been good and the overall layout (while doesn’t change much) is good. We went this year with a group of 6. 4 of us paid for immediate access ($70 a ticket) and 2 paid for VIP ($50-60 a ticket). We arrived and I will say the plan for texting people to enter was good. It helps with creating a protective measure with Covid-19.We entered the first house and it was laid out as usual. One thing was missing though. Actors!!!!! There might have been 2 actors in there. Once you exit the house you would usually get on the tram and ride to another section of the park. Well this year, you do not. You merely walk to the corn maze. Once you enter the corn maze you walk until you get to the 2nd house. Once again there were two actors throughout the whole corn maze. We walked for probably 5-8 minutes (1/4 mile maybe) and we saw an actor at the beginning telling us to enter and one at the end telling us where to go next. This was absolutely terrible. If there was any part of this “new” layout where you could emphasize the scariness was here. We enter the second house and it was longer and while there were more actors, probably 20-25, only 3 actually made it worth their while to try and scare us. Most just stood in a corner and would just talk to us (saying don’t scream in a low toned gurgled voice). Once you exit the 2nd house, you are done. So no 2nd tram and no walk through the woods (which is in the name SPOOKYWOODS). This was a complete failure on their part and I will not be going back again unless something changes. I cannot believe I spent $140 on two tickets for this sham. I would recommend you not go this year and choose another one. I understand the precautions being taken because of Covid-19 but you could easily run the tram and have the groups skip a seat or have it setup where you can walk to the woods section if the company is worried about the virus.

Cant say enough good things about our experience. Took my daughter on the zipline and had a blast! Im sure pretty much any zipline could be fun, but what made this the one I will recommend and will be back to was our Flight Captains Chad and Celeste. 100% Professional with awesome personalities. The only thing Id recommend to management is to give Celeste heavy amounts of training with arachnids to reduce the terror experienced when one is surprisingly encountered. (Hahaa!) I was so impressed by this place! The set design, costumes and effects for the Haunted exhibits were so polished and well thought out. Plus, I enjoyed seeing some themes I have never seen before used in any Haunted attraction so I appreciated the creativity. I also enjoyed that despite the longer line to get in, they make an effort to entertain you while you are in line so that you arent bored out of your mind. Also the staff and the actors all seem lovely, I look to returning next year! We did not really know what to expect and the drive up was an hour and a half from where we live. We had a blast!! The weapons and headgear are easy to use and did not appear cheap. The course is well designed with natural and man made barricades and such to hide behind. The music that is pumped in is a positive addition. The staff was efficient and friendly. We highly recommend and plan to visit again in the fall to play laser tag again as well as visit some of the fall attractions at Kersey Valley that will be open then. Thank you for a fun afternoon!

I have come here 3 years in a row, Im not sure if Ill be returning next year. It was just too crowded and the wait required them to hire a DJ for the line, it wasnt like this the prior years before. Also, most of the patrons were under the age of 20. The people at the ticket booth were very pleasant and made me laugh, very enthusiastic fun staff. There were other staff in costumes trying to scare some of the people in line to get in. Most of the staff created a really great experience, even security and parking staff.I was looking forward to getting some fudge from fudgepackers fudge shop here, really, just because of the name. Well, unfortunately, I am no longer motivated to continue that tradition. It doesnt seem like the guys running the place really value the setup as much as I did. The first comment I got from the lady who makes the fudge when I asked for suggestions was Ha! I dont know, I dont eat any of the fudge, I just make it, lots of it. I immediately imagined the spirit of Gordon Ramsey staring her down, but I was determined to get some fudge for my friend who I promised, and the fudges looked like pretty creative pieces of art, like the cookie monster fudge with edible googly eyes. I told the lady I was getting the fudge for a friend and that I told them about the place and promised Id get some fudge and asked what was popular. She assumptively asked, Well, what does she like, how long have you known her and why isnt she here now. I told her it was a guy and she giggled, said something incoherent and went into the back and her husband took over the transaction. It was just an odd uncomfortable experience. I got the fudge though, and the ones I got for myself were pretty good. The last time I had fudge was literally the year before from this place. Heh.

Went to Spooky Woods with 2 adults and 2 teen boys. One of the boys had never been to a haunted attraction before and really enjoyed his visit, as it wasnt too scary but still interesting to him. The rest of us were pretty disappointed, however. We have been to a number of other haunted attractions through the years, so we may be jaded, but this didnt stack up to some of the other ones weve been to (like Trotterville and Hacker House). The pros: real bathrooms, lots of food, cider donuts, beverages. The cons: the actual haunted houses and trail. We are really looking forward to the laser tag corn maze, but as we were being herded through like cattle, there was no sport to it. The shaking floor and vortex tunnel was best part, but unfortunately wasnt enough to make up for the lackluster scares found elsewhere. The staff, however were very nice.I would definitely suggest place this for people looking for low to medium scares or for first time haunted trail visitors, not for haunted attraction veterans. I hope I dont sound too harsh as it definitely has its place and there are plenty of young girls screaming, who seemed to really enjoy themselves. It just wasnt for 75% of our group. Happy Halloween!

Outstanding experience and well worth the drive. I am a huge Halloween fan and this place does it absolutely right. From the main entrance down to the attractions. Note: I went to their Halloween festival only. The mood was stellar, staff fun and onsite security even chatted with me about the history. To sum it up...after the last attraction on the way out a monster (staff) noticed we were not scared. He proceeded to follow us with an ATV in an open field walking into fog...as we neared the exit he turned the light on and gunned it towards us turning just shy....sounds ridiculous? It was. I wasnt scared but I felt like I was in every horror movie ever. This place is amazing if you are a Halloween fan. Props to you all, you made my year.

Kersey Valley really does a good job with customer service. We went for the Corn Maze. We tuckered out midway, and found a roaming employee (thank you, Derrick!) who lead us out and gave my mom some water. My sister brought her dog, and every employee with whom we interacted told us about the doggie bar (a dog water fountain). They also have a station to provide baggies for people to clean up after their dogs. There is even a hand sanitizer station. The bathrooms are large and very clean. The snack bar has great options for a hot day, including frozen chocolate covered bananas! There is a tram that takes you on a tour of the site, as well as a small cow train for the little ones. We played on the jumping pillows, where the employee was very kind and safety conscious. We also did the gem/fossil mining and found some cool stuff. There were a couple of birthday parties going on in the picnic shelters. And we watched people soar overhead on the zip lines. Weve been previously for the escape room. Fun day of laser tag and wandering through the corn maze. Ive gone many times to spooky woods, but had no idea they had so much for families and how nice the property is (food, picnic shelter, etc)

I called the week before our visit to inquire about activities and tickets. I was told that if we got here early we would be fine without reservations for the rope course and laser tag, but couldnt guarantee about the zip line course since it was the weekend. We had family flying in for literally 1 1/2 days. Long story short, we chose to make the drive out because even if the rope course was full, the boys could do laser tag. Wow were we disappointed. Available tickets were the rope course and that didnt start until 2 and zip lining was at 5:30. We were advised to come early, we did. We were told at the entrance there was more than enough for our preteen and teenage boys to do. Yeah, after 10-15 minutes they were ready to go. I guess we wont be making it until the 2:00 rope course we paid for. Dont waste your time unless you have little kids or reservations, no matter what the staff says on the phone or in person. If they would have said at the gate, yeah I doubt they would really enjoy that, but the rope course has an opening at 2 and the zip line at 5:30, we would have come back. Now we have disappointed kids, and extended family. What a waste of money, but more importantly time!

1st time going to anything like this but we all loved it and Wud definitely go back! Only thing I didnt like was that we cud notice their wasnt quiet a few actors out scaring everyone because u cud tell in certain spots where people are supposed to be but was told yes I was right but its cuz it wad on a Sunday and that shouldnt matter beings how much money people spend to come there and how much they spend just to get scared to death but overall we loved it and Wud go back but Wud choose to go on a Friday or Saturday next time

Its a fairly decent size place. You have zip lining, rope adventure park, escape rooms, lazer tag and in the fall they have the haunted woods. We booked reservations for the zip lining the staff were great! Then after that we booked lazer tag. Lazer tag was awesome! Our instructor Vin was so great! Very informative, he answered all of our questions even the silly ones too. The area we played in was outdoors so make sure you got on something you dont mind getting a little dirt on. Our session was played for 2 hours. That is a whole lot of fun! The group that played with us were all total strangers and we all had a great time together.
