I went to see the musical Hamilton. The acoustics and lighting were outstanding making for quite and enjoyable experience. Entry into the facility was seamless. Of course there was security and bags were checked and I didnt expect anything less. The staff was friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Also as important are the bathrooms, they were clean and fully stocked.

Great venue for a show with clean facility and get better events than similar size cities. Excellent prices and atmosphere with great staff helping if you needed. The parking for events is $5 which is located across the street. It great that they get Hamilton and Lion King and other Off Broadway events! Keep up the great booking of shows. The ticket ordering is much better than other facilities as well. The food and drink prices are affordable. Definitely be back in the near future for a show.

Hamilton words fail. breathtaking. tour de force. Staging, sound, lighting, vocal performances, dance... precision execution in a seemingly effortless flow. The PAC was clean, welcoming and staffed with helpful people as always. Great place to revel in theater the way it should be enjoyed.Would be great if there were a few more options for folks with physical challenges. My seat was a bit narrow for my size which put pressure on my sciatica. was totally worth it to see the show ... i would have sat on the ground with my feet swinging over the railings if it had come to that! This was taken the morning i bought the ticket...standing on the stage looking up. My seat was first balcony on the left!

It’s a great venue for watching all kinds of different shows, from The Phantom of the Opera to the Blue Man Group to Local talent. The volunteers are all incredible friendly and helpful. Please remember this is a nonprofit organization, they run on the generosity of all of us to bring these shows to ALL of people. Whether your hearings not the greatest or it’s your hearing that’s a problem the PAC will help make it an enjoyable experience for you.

My daughter and I drove from Minneapolis to Appleton to watch Hamilton at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center. This is a newer theater and is wonderful. Easy to get to. Easy to park. Plenty of bathrooms. Easy to get to your seat. I would love to watch another production here. Just got home from Hamilton matinee at the PAC. I had reservations at seeing it, but decided to not pass it by & I am so glad went. What a great show of such talented actors & spectacular voices. Granted it is rap & very fast moving. The best thing I could have done was to download the GalaPro App offered free of charge. I had a very nice lady help me set it up. It gives you the availability to follow the words on a black screen with red lettering. Not disturbing to the people sitting around you. It would be wonderfulto have this available for all shows. With live performances it isnt always easy to hear everything. We are so lucky to have the PAC in Appleton. Have seen many shows & looking to add many more.

Really nice facility for the greater Fox Cities metro area. Good acoustics, pretty easy to navigate. The railings on the balconies are below the average concert-goers center of gravity, which is a little unsettling. Its nice that they offer adult sippy cups for use inside the theater. The 2019-2020 season is excellent!

Ive been coming to the PAC for years to watch performances, and Ive never had anything negative to say until recently. A few weeks ago, we went to see Hamilton, and it was an amazing show! But before the show began, we saw many people approaching the stage to take a picture next to the set, and since everyone else was doing it, we decided to as well. But when we approached the stage and took a picture, an usher came screaming at us that we needed to put our phone away and delete the picture. While people on the other side of the stage were still freely taking their picture. I understand that this might be policy, but if it was, it should be enforced consistently. As far we could tell, we were the only group that got yelled at for trying to take a picture, and we counted approximately 25 people who took pictures without a problem, while we were publicly embarrassed by this usher loudly scolding us. It was a humiliating experience that did not have to happen, especially when paying a premium price for Hamilton tickets! Ridiculous situation. Great venue, but their staffing and rules needs more consistency.

Excellent venue, Ive gone to shows here multiple times and it is always a pleasant experience. The most recent show was Hamilton and it did not disappoint. Beverage prices are a little steep but they are that way anywhere during an event. Not a bad seat in the house, Ive been on the floor all the way to the top and never had issues with view. A must stop for any show if you are in the area.

After having two shows of a season ticket package cancelled and a third postponed out of 5 shows purchased, it was difficult to get a refund for the tickets. Worst yet, a $100 service fee was charged for the shows, and they refused to prorate the refund of the service fee as the invoice stated $20 per show for service fees. This tells me not to ever buy season tickets again because of there no refund policy on season ticket fees. Waiting to see if a class action suit might follow that I can jump on for the service fees to be refunded.FOLLOWUP: I did contact you to dispute your claim of no refund on service fees. I got a phone call back stating you will not do this - so my claim above is true. I thought a manager type person would be calling me, and I doubt that the case as they had to go on hold to ask a manager their policy which means, it still wasnt a person who had authorization to do refunds with logic in mind. CAUTION: DO NOT buy season tickets from them because all service fees for season tickets if a show is cancelled are non-refundable.

I only gave one star because I couldnt make a post without a rating. My family came here to watch my niece graduate only to find NO seating available. We were directed to wait in lobby areas and suggested to watch the graduation on one 43 TV per floor. The customer service was awful. When asking the security about the situation and what accommodations were being made they spoke over the patrons, being rude, dismissive and took no responsibility for the poorly planned event. Family and friends for hundreds of graduates traveled hrs, took off work and made their way to see the event were unable to even hear the event. I can honestly say I wont be attending any future events at this venue.

Wonderful venue. Rather new. View from top balcony 3rd row was adequate, Family section seat prices. They have Broadway touring companies of good shows scheduled, and a variety of other performances. Surprises: plan to get there early for 2 reasons: parking and security check. Were went on the main street toward a recommeded parking structure. With no left turn arrows,it took forever to get to the green ramp. They also restrict what you take in, the size of purses, and they search purses and do a quick scan of your body. Also takes time in lines to do this. I had to run to the restroom and then barely made it to my seat for the beginning of the performance. But enjoyable when we got settled in.

We sat in the 1st and 2nd rows in the top balcony. The seats were great! The staff, especially the ushers, were wonderful. They helped us tremendously with an unforeseen issue. My only complaint, as with most large venues, was that there were not enough womens bathrooms. The 3rd and 4th floors shared one bathroom with 6 or 8 stalls. The lines were very long, as the show we had attended was sold out. We otherwise had a great experience!

Not enough bathroom capacity for intermission; clearly the designer wasnt from Wisconsin. Rude volunteers that have multiple times yelled at me for taking a selfie that doesnt show the stage. Rude volunteers that shut the door on me as I was walking back to my seat from intermission, causing me and others to miss at least 10 minutes of the show. Ridiculously small seats. Parking is generally a huge pain. Overpriced drinks. Overpriced tickets and fees. New security policy with purse size limitations is very inconvenient. Overall an awful venue.

Theres not much I can say about the PAC that hasnt already been said, but Ill try. My daughter loves the preforming arts, its her life at this point. Shes almost always in some theatre production or another and when shes not in a show at the moment, shes preparing for the next one! She sings and dances around the house all the time and the music from various theatre productions pervades our house, even I find myself humming a show tune more often than Id like. All that is to say that in our household we live & love the theatre! So when we get a chance to see a show ourselves, we relish the opportunity and never more so than when we get to see it at the PAC. Everything about the experience is wonderful from the ease of parking across the street to the great acoustics, seating and atmosphere in the theatre itself. Nothing was spared and no measures were done by halfs when they put the PAC together, find a show and go!My only bit of advise, for after the show, is to head across the street to one of the many fine drinking establishments and park yourself there for one drink while all the others fight to exit the parking ramp. After your one drink, and only one mind you as you are driving home, you can stroll across the street and drive out of the ramp like a civilized human and not some crazed viking attacking a village as you would have had to do a half hour before that...

The Lion King was spectacular and the singers were as good as Ive ever heard. The facility was average in that it was hard to get up to the upper level. We were sitting on the right side as you face the stage and on the third level. the only way to get there was one elevator which took forever or you could walk up the stairs which only took you clear to the far end and then you had to walk back all the way across the venue to get to your seat. coming down, the elevator either wasnt working or was so slow as to be ineffective. After 10 minutes waiting we reverse that process and went all the way across and then down the steps. Astounding to me there is only one elevator and only one set of stairs that leads you to the far end of the venue. Hard to believe that is even legal. Again though, the show was spectacular and one I would highly recommend.2-17-19
