I recently bought a new Mathews VXR 31.5 bow and all the accessories from TRS after countless visits to other shops in the area. Mike and Matt were the reason I bought my entire set up from TRS. Everyone has knowledge in this industry but they applied it to my specific situation and needs in a way that got me excited about the way I hunt and shoot vs. what the experts want to have you do or have you buy. Couldnt be happier with the experience.

I love this place. I just discovered this place about 3 weeks ago and it is great. This is definitely my new fishing store. The prices are reasonable and they have great inventory. The staff has been awesome and very helpful, Ive already been there 3 times and I try my best to support local small businesses especially when the people that work there care about the customer. If your an outdoor type a person then check this place out and you wont be disappointed.

I broke my crossbow string and after checking with many shops, no one could help me. I called the Reel Shot and Mark who is very knowledgeable asked me to bring my bow in and he fixed me up the same day. You can’t find service like that. This place is great!

Matt and Mike did a fabulous job of helping me get my bow tuned up the right way after a competitor failed miserably to do so. I would highly recommend that if you have any outdoor questions, need tweaks to your bow or firearms or need any fishing supplies you check out TRS before going anywhere else. These guys are friendly, welcoming and have an abundance of knowledge.

I must have went on a bad day. Everyone there seemed really rude and impatient. I was told they were too busy to help me with a string for my crossbow. I was also looking for some replacement parts and was told that I would have to come back at a different time. The place was dead... They were just lazy. Very negative experience.

I had significant issues with a new bow that I had purchased from another location. I brought it to Reel Shot for help and the staff was outstanding. Their knowledge base and expertise in the field is unmatched. There were a bunch of head aches I had too work through, and they were still more than accommodating. I will be going to Reel Shot for all of my archery needs from here on out. Competitive pricing and outstanding customer service. Highly recommended.

Recently purchased a Ravin crossbow. Great working with both mark and Nathan. Mark set me up with the bow. Then Nathan helped me get the bow zeroed in, and went over all the new features. They know their stuff and make sure you leave happy

These guys bent over backwards to help me out when the wrong size string came in for my bow a week prior to my trip out west. They made it right and got the bow back to me within 48 hours. Great bow tech and awesome customer support!

Brought my crossbow in to get looked at and they are very knowledgeable I would definitely recommend this place.

I came in looking for some fishing poles for a gift and the store was very busy. This gave me time to pick out what I needed and a few extra items. When it came time to purchase reels Nate was patient and knowledgeable about their products, but also made sure I had the right gear for the fishing I was doing. He wasn’t overwhelmed by the influx of customers and made sure I was taken care of. Same goes for their archery department.

Like the selection. I love that they support many local fundraisers.That is why Im willing to pay the slightly higher prices here than at other stores.The archery prices are kinda set up to make a monthly membership appealing. The trade off is that if you want to take your kid here to try and get them involved in archery, its very expensive to shoot for an hour for 2 people, when one is a kid just learning. just my opinion.Shopping tip, prices online are NOT the same as the prices in the store. Prices can vary dramatically, so if shopping online, they will match the price in the store. I found this out 2 days after I bought a bunch of fishing lures I though were on sale, and looked at the receipt when I got home. unfortunately the registers do not show you the prices as they are being rung up, so you cannot verify prices until your done.It might seem like a negative review, but I really do like this store and its employees have always been polite and helpful. I hope to have pointed out a couple things that can be used to make a great place even better.

I haven’t been in the store for a few years now and I came in looking for a in line ice reel after not having luck at the big stores in town and was impressed with the large selection of everything in the store. I live 5 hours away, and had some items stolen from my pole barn. These items were taken to The Reel Shot and attempted to be sold. The Reel Shot thought something was wrong, and contacted the Appleton Police Dept. Because of the efforts at The Reel Shot, I have recovered some of my items, and the person is in jail! I went in to check out some shotguns a year ago and was helped by Steve in the gun department and was really impressed. Since my first purchase of a 590 I have bout two more guns from him. The best part is if he cant help you he will look around to find what you need. I recently got the wrong front grip for my a.r. and he went out of his way to find a model number and a place that I could get one. Awesome customer service! In just an hour, Mark helped me get my bowed refreshed and my confidence in shooting boosted tremendously. He was able to give good recommendations on arrows specific to my bow, as well as help picking out a new rest and release. Originally told me it would be a couple weeks to get it back but ended up doing all the work in front of me which was totally unexpected but much appreciated. I went in being reasonably confident in my shooting but knowing it could be better to leaving knowing my bow could drill arrows in tight groups with ease. I highly recommend.

I wish there were more than 5 starts to give Matt from Reel Shot. From the day I got a bow, my fiance and I went in and had it fit to me and he spent a great deal of time tuning it just right. He showed me pointers on how he even stands when shooting and techniques.My bow broke the other day and I called to make sure Matt was working (Not that anyone else isnt good, its just who weve always dealt with) and that same night it was back to normal, even better than before it broke.Anything you need, go to Reel Shot.

Steve in the firearms department goes above and beyond. He helped me get a 65 year old vintage firearm in excellent shooting condition. He knew it had great sentimental value, and didnt stop until the job was done. Would not take a firearm any where else.

I am just getting into bow hunting at 23, the employees there were outstanding. They helped me pick out the right bow for me in my price range while not trying to get me to buy the most expensive one. They also adjusted my draw length, weight, peep sight, cut my arrows and helped my sight my new bow in for FREE!!!! They also gave me good advice on proper shooting technique. I am definitely coming back here again for any of thing I need for bow hunting. I also bought my new CC firearm there recently and had the same awesome experience. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable. Easy 5 stars!!! (anyone interested, I got the Bear Approach package which is an awesome bow)

I recently went to the Reel Shot to see what they had for bows. I met with the archery expert Matt and he listened to what I had in mind and recommended a few bows to try out.It didn’t take me long to make the decision on the one I wanted.After I had the one I wanted picked out I explained to Matt what kind of rest, sight and quiver I wanted, he found exactly what I wanted.Matt soon went to work on getting the bow set up, he was very precise and his attention detail was nothing short of amazing.When the set up was completed I finally got to shoot it, Matt saw a few things he didn’t like and quickly made the adjustments.I shot again and it was spot on.I can honestly say that I have never had such an experience with a pro shop before like I had here at the ReelShot, this place is truly a first class place, and they will always be my first choice.If anyone is ever looking for a First class place and want to be treated with respect I would definitely without a doubt go to the ReelShot.Thank you to Matt and the rest of the staff for this great experience and the quality job you did for me.Joe Milheiser

I bought my brand new bow from Matt at Reel Shot and he was extremely helpful in ordering/setting up the EXACT custom bow that I wanted for a great price, and then again last week my fiancé had her bow (she bought off craigslist) have the strings and cables blow off, once again he spent a good amount of time working with her and getting her bow back up and tuned for her that same night. Ive tried to buy a bow here 3 times. The first time they wouldnt change draw length. I bought elsewhere. The second time, I was told to order it from another dealer. I went elsewhere. Maybe, third times a charm. Yesterday, they wouldnt change the weight or set up another bow that would work even though it was hanging on the rack. The guy just kept asking if I planned to purchase first. Who buys a bow without shooting it first?Drove straight over to another shop and was treated like royalty. Not friendly staff

Would highly recommend coming here for the staff is highly trained and knowledgeable. They helped me pick out and set up my new Matthews Bow which fit my needs perfectly. Would come back for any future purchases and am looking forward to using their Archery Range.

My husband had been looking for a new bow for me for a while. We went into The Reel Shot and they were super helpful with helping us find the perfect bow for me. We just went in to get the bow set up and ready to shot. Matt 2.0 in the archery shop was beyond helpful. He helped us pick a great sight that would work for me. He got us the best arrows for my bow and cut them down for us. He even helped me start to sight in my bow. He was helpful and patient with us. Even stayed a bit late to fix an issue with my sight. To top it off the whole time we were working to get my bow set up my son was able to shot at the indoor range! He had such a great time! We cant wait to get back, as a family, into the range again to shot. Would highly recommend this shop! Great shop to work with.

Stoped in the other day to have them look at my bow limbs. Mark confirmed what I thought , cracking limbs. Shot all the bows I wanted with no pressure to buy. Answered all the questions I had about each bow. Ended up buying a Bowtech Carbon Icon. Took my set up off my old bow put it on the new one had it tuned and ready to go in less then a day.
