I must say this place is a definite hidden treasure of our desert, they have some amazing and very historical pieces on display at their location. Besides all of the very impressive pieces on display they have so many things inside that are history for the high desert like a mammoth skull that lived here so long ago, and also had many specimens on display to show my child all of our wildlife that we live with and share our beautiful desert with. And just because that just wasnt enough they put a play area with mats and another with a little town and toys and dress up clothes for the kids. This is a must, there is a small charge take $10 for a family of 4 and you will be covered,

The Victor Valley Museum is a first class .. A-Number-One .. Top notch .. Wonderful museum. I was shocked when I saw the size of the museum. It is quite large and the presentations within the museum are professional quality in all respects. I am so pleased that my wife and I visited this magnificent museum. As seniors we paid a most reasonable four ($4) dollars for our visit. It was fun to see the Victor Valleys history as well as desert facts. Its also fun for kids to visit. Not real big but something different to do.

This location is small, but charming and educational. A wide array of taxidermied specimens showcase the High Deserts wildlife, a recent photo installment shows the devastation caused by the Blue Cut fire, and the community events truly cement what the buildings contents can only hint at - a genuine love of this crazy little dust bowl so many people call home.

Wife and I went here after moving to Victorville/Apple Valley several years ago. We got exactly what we expected - lots of history. Everything is REALLY condensed because of the lack of space. We thought the price was a little high but if you havent been here, you have to go here at least once. Plan on spending a lot of time at each island to read everything that it has to offer - theres a ton of material to read.
