Looking forward to the season and our annual trip to the Chain O Lakes area and Six Flags Great America. For the past 5 years weve stayed here at the Grass Lake Marina and they have pretty much everything youd want for a great getaway: a campground, boat slips, a swimming pond and a terrific restaurant. Plus, the staff is friendly and always ready to assist in anyway. Cant wait to get here and to Six Flags!

Do not recommend. Husband and wife that run the place are rude. Husband is hit or miss but when his wife gets all wound up for no reason he follows. We only use them to launch and pull out our boat and last year was the final straw and weve since been using another place nearby. The last time we went as soon as we pulled in the wife came up yelling for no reason. I was talking with someone else and told them we were there just to pull our boat out. There was something going on and they had the path blocked so I was waiting and talking to someone that knew the owners. She ran up yelling and they had to calm her down and tell her we were just there to pull out our boat. The place is a pot hole warzone and you literally cannot go faster than 5mph. After taking my foot off the brakes and not even hitting the gas the wife went back to screaming to slow down. Once we got to the husband he started screaming because his wife was screaming (he didnt even know why she was screaming). It was honestly a joke. This was just the last encounter too, there was plenty of more. From the other reviews it sounds like they are nice if you are staying on their property with your RV but if youre just paying them to launch your boat do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Plenty of other places nearby with friendly owners that actually appreciate your business.

Just like Murray (who we know) were looking forward to the new season at Grass Lake Marina and RV Park. Weve been coming here for four years now since theyre close to Great America and the rates are the best in the area. We always have a great time (just like Murray) we and cant wait until April! Just like Murray.

Made reservations today. Camping at Grass Marina. Rides at Great America. Every year since 2009.
